Diablo 3 Marked for Death and the Valley of Death Rune Posted: 20 Mar 2021 09:48 PM PDT In Diablo 3, does the Valley of Death rune add a 15% modifier to the already 15% additional damage of Marked for Death, bringing the total additional damage up to +30%? I can't seem to find anything that talks about this. All the other questions that I see are related to multiple instances of Marked for Death stacking. I just want to know how that specific rune stacks. Does it? Or does it just provide +15% additional damage to everyone within the designated area? |
"Internal Exception: badly compressed packet" upon entering server Posted: 20 Mar 2021 07:14 PM PDT I started playing on a server recently that allowed duping, and so I started duping a bunch of stuff. Later, when trying to open a chest, the sever kicked me out showing this message: In this chunk, there are large chests full of shulkers, but removing them does not seem to alleviate the issue, so I'm not sure if that's the cause. Any ideas? |
What are the rules for mega evolutions in Pokémon go? Posted: 20 Mar 2021 05:12 PM PDT The rules for Pokémon go's mega evolutions have changed over time. There doesn't seem to be any one place in the publisher, Niantic, states all the rules, mechanics and benefits for mega evolutions. The question is really: what is the complete set of rules that governs how mega evolutions work in Pokémon go? |
How can I make Minecraft PE on iOS forget my xboxlive account so I can start with a new account? Posted: 20 Mar 2021 03:36 PM PDT I've tried deleting Minecraft PE (which should delete all associated data from the device) but when I reinstall and try to sign up, it magically remembers my old account. It brings up a webview dialog that connects to sisu.xboxlive.com |

Assigning an entire team a role Posted: 20 Mar 2021 09:44 AM PDT I have a 4-team, 2-man PVP game I'm working on in Rec Room. In the game:
I'm trying to take that team out of the arena and put them in a Viewing area. Here's the questions: I think the way to do it is to assign them a "spectator" role, give them locomotion rights and TP them to the viewing area. Right?

How can you detect when a player hits a block in Adventure Mode [version 1.16.5] in Minecraft? Posted: 20 Mar 2021 10:00 PM PDT In Minecraft, I am trying to make a map in Adventure Mode where you sell/buy trees. I want to be able to detect whenever a player has punched an oak log in Adventure Mode, and then it would automatically break the log. How would I go about doing this? I don't want to use any data packs/plugins. |
Is the tower game shown in the 'Hero Wars' ad a real game? Posted: 21 Mar 2021 03:37 AM PDT I was playing a game on my phone, and an advertisement appears about the game 'Hero Wars', but Hero Wars does not play anything like what is shown in the ad. The advertisement shows a hero being placed on various levels of a tower to defeat enemies and level up: Does the gameplay shown in the advertisement exist as an actual game? Posted: 20 Mar 2021 04:40 PM PDT Noita's progress screen tracks which perks the player has obtained, which spells the player has used, and which enemies the players has defeated by showing a little icon with the name and description. At the top of the progress screen, however, is a more enigmatic tracker, counting the number of secrets the player has discovered. For example, in my own game: The game doesn't specify which secrets are unlocked though, only showing one vague description (in my case "Discovered the secret below"). What does Noita recognize as a secret, and what is the wording for each of them? |

Is there any way I can get my world back? Posted: 20 Mar 2021 07:49 PM PDT I had a world in 1.14, and I loaded it in 1.16 to use the /locatebiome command. I was far from my home, and I loaded it back in 1.14 to see all of my creations were gone, my 16 weeks of work all gone. I tried to make a backup before, but it crashed my game, so the backups never completed. I'm on java edition, please tell me if there's anything I can do. |
Managing masters dailies tiers Posted: 20 Mar 2021 09:08 PM PDT Yesterday I've finish T6 map and went to sleep in hope that today I'll start doing yellow dailies. But no: All yellow tiers are 0. Wiki say:
My question:Was I just unlucky that all masters decided to do My additional thoughts below (can be ignored when answering): Tooltip in atlas is as generic as it can be:
This doesn't imply finishing white T5 map could give yellow daily. Nor opposite. Pretty dissaponted with this GGG innovation, I could have done T7 map if I'd know that tricky to guess rule. If I'd be their programmer I'd make it based on Zana quest line progress, giving +1 daily per tier once it's unlocked (white - once zana quest started after completing T1 map, yellow - after completing shaped T6 map, red - after completing elder T9 map). |
How many Monoliths are in each system? Posted: 20 Mar 2021 07:30 AM PDT I interacted with a Monolith and accidentally chose the wrong option (not the option that helps you locate a Portal). Now I can't interact with it, and my navigation beacon isn't locating any more Monoliths. Is there another Monolith in this system I can locate and use to find the local Portal? I am especially curious because I see that the NMS Wiki post for Portals starts with this description:
I have found a lot of information on the internet to be out of date when it comes to post-NEXT features, so I guess as a sub-question: Is there still 1 Portal per celestial body? It would make sense to me that if there was a Portal on each celestial body there would be at least 1 Monolith for each, right? But I am in a 2-body system, with only one Monolith being revealed. |
Most effective use of coupons and ingots for increasing power Posted: 20 Mar 2021 06:00 PM PDT Nearing 35K power, I've accumulated 6000 coupons and 1000 ingots and I'm wondering what the most effective purchases are to increase power. Should I focus on purchasing more powerful ninjas, leveling up battle armor, buying charms? How can I get the most out of my stock of currency? |
Should I save over progress or always in a new slot when playing GTA V? Posted: 21 Mar 2021 01:54 AM PDT I've just bought GTA V - never played it before. Regarding saving progress in story mode, should I always save in a new slot, or should I overwrite the progress saved? I get a message like "only 1.6% of played, do you want to overwrite?" If I overwrite will I lose some gameplay? |
Posted: 20 Mar 2021 07:44 AM PDT I played BioShock 2 before BioShock 1. I got used to the BioShock 2 hacking mini-game, which is much faster to finish and does not stop the game while you're hacking (fight while you hack!), unlike BioShock 1's hacking mini-game, which is tedious to me and stops the game while you hack. I find BioShock 1's hacking mini-game an exercise in frustration, since I have hacking OCD and have a habit of hacking every hackable item in sight in BioShock 2 - including security bots attacking me, turrets thrown by Big Daddies, etc. (I'm a master hacker in BioShock 2, in that I don't need a gene tonic to make hacking easier or even use plasmids on machines.)* So, is there a way to change/mod/reconfigure BioShock 1's hacking mini-game, to something less tedious? Note: I'm not looking for tips on how to effectively play the hacking mini-game or to use the auto-hack tool or buyout instead (there's already a wiki article about that). I'm looking to know how to either skip the hacking minigame through, for example: configuration modification, console commands/cheat codes (infinite auto-hack tool), trainers, mods, etc., that will effectively make a machine hacked, every time I try to hack one, skipping the mini-game. That, or make it significantly faster and less tedious to do, or convert it to BioShock 2's single player or multi-player hacking system†. * Also, there's quicksave/load =) |
