Minecraft (1.13+) - Get Player By UUID using commands

I'm trying to make a commands that give an arrow to the player that fired the arrow. The arrow object has Owner key that contains UUID of the player.

Is there a way to select a player with an UUID from an arrow object?

Give command:

/give @a[nbt={UUID:???}] arrow 1

Where ??? should be the value of

@e[type=arrow].Owner

Is it possible to record video, depth map and 6D pose of any games?

I'm a researcher working on improving video quality in various contexts. For my current problem, I need to collect videos which have both RGB data as well as depth data. Video can be monocular or stereo. However, if there is egomotion, I'll need the camera pose (rotation and translation) as well. Is there any way to record all these information in any kind of games? Games can be on any platform: PC games, mobile games or VR games.

In short, I want to record gameplay but with additional information such as depth map and camera pose.

I need to make it so that you can combo mobs like crazy, but there is only a HurtTime tag for players. Is there a way to replicate this feature with mobs, such as a zombie? (Best to have something like

/execute as @e run data merge entity @s <nbt>

though, make it widespread for all entities please)

How to get out of command block loop in education edition

I gave myself a command block and made it so it would teleport me to my house. I forgot I was using as repeating command block. There is no setting to turn off command blocks in education edition. Hoq do I stop it?

I tried to play minecraft buy it says failed to log in authentication servers are currently down for maintance. But they aren't because I have been trying to play online fore like 3 months now. I have tried everything but i think the problem is becuase I dont have a mojang account and I only have a microsoft account. I would make a mojang one but it doesn't work.

What are some deviations from GBA emulators such as GameTime Player?

I recently took a liking to GBA's and playing pokemon and turn based tactic games, but I cannot find any suitable online emulators that allow me to load a file in and play. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Why is this gun model corrupted in GLQuake but not WinQuake?

I'm trying to use a Right Handed Weapons mod for Quake 1. It works fine in WinQuake but in GLQuake the model is all corrupted:

Etemenanki not available in single player

We were playing a game of Civ VI with friends the other day, and one of us managed to get the new Etemenanki wonder added in a recent update.

I found it sufficiently broken so I tried to test it in a single-player world, but I can't the building anywhere. I know you need the writing tech to be able to build it, but the wonder isn't listed as a benefit of the tech.

None of us have the New Frontiers DLC by the way, I've checked. But as far as the Wiki says, the DLC is not required for this update

Is it possible to skip the Ender Dragon and go directly to the outer islands in Minecraft? I know that people have been able to do it in Java Edition, but I'm not exactly sure if I can do it in Bedrock Edition. If so, how far away is it, and is travelling there before defeating the ender dragon worth it?

I switched to Michael, then Franklin, and then Trevor and there are no missions for anyone apart from a blue "B". I went there as Michael and I couldn't activate the mission. Can someone please tell me what I'm meant to do?

Nintendo 64 Fried?

There are other questions similar to this one I'm asking, but my situation is different from the other questions asked on this site....

I've owned and played this Nintendo 64 for about 10 years now, and have played numerous games on it. One day I was playing MK4, then turned it off to let the kids play with their games. The next day, I go to boot up MK4, but it won't boot the game up.

Specifically, I can insert a game, turn on the system (red LED lights up), and instead of the game booting up, a red hazy screen fades in as if a game WASN'T inserted. I've tried all of my games, TLoZ: OoT, SM64, 007, Perfect Dark, and many other games, and it still does the same thing. I've tried blowing through the connectors in the system AND in the game (though it's not recommended), no change. I've tried cleaning the connectors with alcohol and eliminating any dust on the connectors, no change. I've tried taking the Expansion Pak out and cleaning those connectors, no change. I checked my wires, they appear to be fine (video is going to TV). Then I tried just leaving the system and powers supply unplugged for about 7 minutes, but no change.

I asked the kids if they did anything to it, and they said no. No drinks were spilled on it, and it wasn't bashed or battered in any way. When I went to go turn it on the next day it wouldn't boot up for nothing. The reason why I ask if it's fried is because I've noticed many other times that the system would be left on for extended periods of time, and sometimes it would be left on with no game in it. I've also noticed that the youngest would sit there and reset the game over and over again to see the intros of the games. Sometimes I would also see the youngest just rip the game out of the system at random (and sometimes leave the power on for extended periods). But they've been doing this to the system and games for about 2 months now. The oldest tells me when they do it, the games just boot up after turning it off and back on. When I left MK4 alone for the kids to play their games, could that have been the final straw and the system finally just burned up? I can imagine that repeated resets, game unplugs, and extended on times with no game in it can't be good for the system.

Does anybody know if a N64 can be fried when it's treated like this? Can anybody tell me of other steps I can take to try to revive this system? This system is sentimental to me, being a part of my childhood and all that.

Edit: I noted this earlier. If I unplug the power pack, then plug it back in WITHOUT PLUGGING THE POWER SOURCE INTO THE SYSTEM, I can hear and feel an faint click in the power pack itself. Is it supposed to do that when its plugged in after staying unplugged for a second or two?

UPDATE: Did a little research and found out that the power supply has three different pins that distribute power to the logic in the N64. If one of these pins don't supply power, then the N64 will not function correctly BUT will turn on. Somebody had my particular problem on another forum. He solved it by replacing the power pack. I will do a test later to see if the power pack is the problem

How do I give a player an item with custom properties?

I'm used to creating Java Edition Minecraft maps, where NBT can be used to set many different block, item, and entity properties, like an item's CanPlaceOn/CanDestroy list, a chest's items, and more!

To open my maps up to more players, I've started creating maps on Minecraft Bedrock Edition as well. But NBT is inaccessible from commands in BE, which I knew before, but didn't know how much of a problem I would have creating these complicated command chains.

One of the things that I've always been doing is giving players items with custom item names, lores, enchantments, and other properties.

But there is a problem. All this would have been done in NBT in Java Edition. In Bedrock, NBT is inaccessible from commands, meaning the commands I used in JE don't work. Are my dreams crushed?

How can I view equipped artifact details in the Heroes III iPad app?

I'm playing Heroes of Might and Magic 3 on the iPad app, and my hero has quite some artifacts. While I know from the PC version what for example the Ring of Infinite Gems does, I forgot the effects of some artifacts, and I also captured a spell scroll from a defeated enemy hero. How can I see the artifact details? When I tap on an artifact, a 'View [article name] info' appears in the bottom bar, but neither dragging the artifact there nor double-tapping it seems to work.

Is there a way to set out many CPU Cores a game uses without needed to reboot the PC?

I recently got The Technomancer from GOG but when i went to play it, it just sat at the loading screen for ever. looking up the issue it seems to be one shared with the Steam version and some users have reported that if they used 1 or 8 CPU Cores it started to work.

I have no idea how many cores are actually being used when i run the game but i figured if i start with 1 core and work up until i'm using all of them i might get the game working. however looking up how to set the number of cores it looks like i need to reset the PC and i'd rather avoid that because i don't want to have to reset my PC every time i want to play one game and reset it again after to reset the setting for every other game where it isn't an issue (reason why i use Locale Emulator for my Japanese Games)

So is there a way to set out many CPU Cores a game uses without needed to reboot the PC?

Can I disable Command-Q on a Mac in Minecraft?

The quickest way to drop full stacks of items in Minecraft (on a Mac) is to use Command-Q. But that keyboard shortcut is already set by Apple to quit the application. Is there a way to disable Command-Q to quit in Minecraft? I don't want to change the drop item keybind.

I don't remember setting my spawn in the End on my server, but I want to get out and apparently my spawn is set in the End. Going through the End portal just teleports you to your spawn, so I just get teleported back to the End.

How do you make the Minecraft full screen window full screen on Windows 10?

Does anyone know how to make Minecraft run in full screen mode?

My display is set to 1920 x 1080, and the game was able to run full screen a while ago, but, I forget what the workaround was - any ideas? I haven't updated my graphics drivers in ages, so, it wasn't a driver update that broke things.

Pressing F11 enters "full screen mode" but this only occupies a subset of the window.

I set the resolution to 1920 x 1080 in the launch options, but the window is still 1024 x 768 or something - I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

I've tried:

  • Toggling "Fullscreen" in the Video Settings
  • Setting a resolution of 1920x1080 in the "Full Screen Mode" setting in the Video Settings menu
  • Settting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 in the launch options
  • Disabling Optifine and repeating the above
  • Disabling high DPI optimizations for javaw.exe
  • Pressing F11 to enter full screen with "Fullscreen" set to "On" or "Off"
  • Pressing ALT + Enter

I have Optifine 1.12 installed, but disabling Optifine doesn't fix this.

This worked a few weeks ago, but, like a fool, I do not recall how I managed to get full screen mode to take up the full screen.

Minecraft Ender IO destroying magical crops

So, I saw some youtubers using a Ender IO farming station to automate Magical Crops. So, I thought,"hey, I'll try and use that to get my resources more efficiently. So I grinded, exhausted most if my resources, and got my farming station, as soon as I gave it what it needed, instead of it harvesting the crops like it would've if I'd used my fist, it harvested the essence and the crop was gone. I was lucky enough to have some back-up seeds so I wasn't entirely ruined, but I want to know how to fix this so I can get back on my feet, and move on.

I crafted an iron chestplate and enchanted it with Projectile Protection III, using a book that I found in a mine shaft. Once I found diamonds, I crafted a diamond chestplate without thinking. I then enchanted it with Blast Protection I. Which chestplate is better?
