Minecraft survival House

I built a house and there is a cave just some blocks near it and it is underground. I hear monsters and I am not being able to sleep in my bed. I have completed half of building my house. Should I rebuild my house or is there anything I can do to fix it?

Minecraft Server - Performance issues due to CPU?

Im running a Minecraft Server and somehow it is struggling with timing. - So its laggy, sometimes more, sometimes less. So I probably figured out that this is a problem caused by my CPU, since its running on 2,7GHz. (Also the RAM is on 48GB and never used more than 40%). As far as I know I have 8 cores, and im sure Minecraft uses just one.. So is there any Option - maybe in the start script - to use more cores, so I can run a more stable Server?

The Server runs on a Debian10 vServer.

Do you get an extra slot for the master sword?

So I was playing legend of Zelda breath of the wild. So i got 13 hearts and I went to the korok forest I had 2 empty weapon slots So I pulled out the master sword but I still had those two empty weapon slots. I know that the master sword has its own slot but the thing is that Did the master sword take one of the two spots and gave a new one or did the master sword come with its own spot meaning the master sword did not go in those two empty slots.

I made all the model files, checked everything and the problem is that charged and charging overrides do not work. Any clues? 🤔

Fallout 4: That damn dogmeat

The pup everyone hates and loves. Dissapears and reapears. After using him to track Kelog, Valentine dismissed him and I have no idea where to. I looled at every settlement, used bells, used dog houses, waited at red rocket, even traced the path from the fort to red rocket, and nothing. Using xbox version so can't use some pc tactic I heard of. Can someone tell me what I can do? I don't wanna have to start over just to have my pup by my side. I got over 72 hours of grinding on this save, and not using mods so I can have achievements.

this is not meant to be racist in ANY way, but I'm trying to attract more black dwellers into my vault. I just keep getting white males: Usually that ratio is 9 white males to 1 white female. Does anyone have any idea why that is?

Help with addicted brother

So, I have a little brother that has become addicted to League of Legends. He spends the entire time he's on the computer on League and refuses trying or doing anything else other than playing this game. I've come to realize his addiction to this game is the culprit here, because in a specific week where the game was down or just didn't work on his PC he tried a bunch of other stuff, including different games, some of which he played until there was nothing left to do in it, even after the game started working again.

I can block the game on the router or on the firewall making him unable to play, but this makes it obvious I did it (cuz I complain about this to him constantly) and he simply refuses to do anything else until I give up and unlock it. So I want to make him unable to play the game in a way that doesn't immediately incriminate me.

I've searched for tools to make the game barely playable network-wise, and I found clumsy, dummynet and NetLimiter. The first and third aren't stealthy enough (leaves an window open while running or after the system startup), the second lacks Windows 10 support.

I've also looked for a way to make the game crash at random intervals after startup, but couldn't find software or code that has this specific function.

Any help is appreciated!

I am looking through the witcher 2 configuration files that specify which stats Geralt gains upon leveling up. Here is an example for each level gained:

Does anyone know what might this ff_damage be? The vitality increases normally by 5 as specified each level. I looked at this and I didn't see an increase in normal damage in character screen so ff_damage must be something else.

Do I need to keep Xbox 360 discs after I install them on Xbox Series X?

How can I make a T Fip Flop with commands in 1.13+?

I'm new to command blocks and I was watching this garage door tutorial which uses the following command to implement a T Flip Flop, i.e. it alternates between success and failure upon each activation:

testforblock ~ ~ ~ minecraft:command_block -1 {SuccessCount:0}

However, I'm using Minecraft 1.16.5 - I'm aware that testforblock was removed in Minecraft 1.13 and onwards in favour of execute if.

I tried the following:

execute if block ~ ~ ~ minecraft:command_block{SuccessCount:0}

However this seems to result in continuous success, due to the missing dataValue (set to -1) in the original command. edit: -1 is the same as not specifying anything according to the wiki

The following doesn't work due to a syntax error:

execute if block ~ ~ ~ minecraft:command_block -1 {SuccessCount:0}

How can I implement a T Flip Flop using a command block in Minecraft Java Edition versions 1.13 and newer?

Is it legal to buy cheap keys from Argentina for use in other regions?

I was searching for sites where I can buy Minecraft for the cheapest when I came across this site with things called 'vpn activated keys'. They were a lot cheaper than the regular keys. The thing was that it was only available in Argentina which was unfortunate because I live in the United Kingdom.

Then I saw it linked to how I can use them. It says I can use a vpn (they even mentioned a free one) to activate the key by changing your location to Argentina then going to redeem.microsoft.com to redeem your activation key. They claim that even if you turn of the vpn the game will run just it would if you bought the regular key. This includes multiplayer.

Then I went to a different site where I could buy games for discounted prices. There I saw the option to buy a key from Argentina again on a different website. On there it said it is only for in Argentina, going against what the first website said. I did a search which only yielded one post on the Microsoft forum. The person was asking if they were allowed to buy products from the UK Microsoft store even though they lived in Argentina. This was different to my question because I was using a product key. One of the answers said you can get your Microsoft account banned for doing that.

Would doing this be legal? Would it result in my account being banned, or any other restrictions? Would Minecraft work as normal, without the need for a VPN?

Just to clarify, I am talking about the Windows 10 Edition of Minecraft, also known as Minecraft Bedrock Edition.

I'm the admin for a small Minecraft server hosted by Apex Minecraft Hosting. Most of my players can connect fine, but 2 are unable to connect (that I'm aware of). I can get more details from one of them; I was just trying to help the second troubleshoot. They're getting the io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException: Connection refused: no further information error - but only when trying to connect to this server. [Edit: the other player is getting a slightly different error, Connection timed out rather than Connection refused] They seem to be able to connect to other servers without issue, so I'm not sure where to start looking. They have the server address correct, the firewall must be fine if they can reach other servers, they're on the whitelist (and would have had a different error message if that was the problem anyway)... what else could be playing up?

The server is lightly modded (1.16.2 Fabric) but fully compatible with the vanilla client, happy to grab more specifics if needed!

Move realms world from Android tablet to iPad (local)

I've been building a Minecraft map where you fight bees(yes I know I'm a cold-hearted person) and I'm trying to figure out a way so it stops spawning more bees when there is a certain amount(I don't want the player to get overwhelmed) here is a video of some gameplay if this helps:

It seems that some people have misunderstood so I will elaborate on some points:

1.each bee is summoned by a command block every 24 Redstone ticks (~2.4 seconds)

2.I am planning on publishing this map

3.This is a very early prototype with plenty of room for improvement

I was wondering: strongholds have a 1/10 chance to spawn under a village, does this also apply to abandoned villages? (regardless of reason for abandonment).

Are there advantages to stacking compatible enchantments on tools, weapons and armour in earlier versions?

Before 1.11.1, Mending and Infinity can be put on a bow, after which both were mutually exclusive with each other.

The same goes for the multiple types of Protection for 1.14.3 Pre-release 3.

In terms of effectiveness, practicality and difficulty, is it worth going the extra mile to stack these enchantments before these versions and updating to a later version afterwards?

Do they just not work well together, or is there still an advantage?

Nintendo Account ban affects a Nintendo Network ID registered before?

Ok so, I have my Switch hacked, and I guess someday it could activate its wifi connection and provocate Nintendo Account ban, but the question is, idk if I have linked my NNID to my Nintendo Account before, but if I have (Currently it isn't linked) may ban affect to the Nintendo Network ID?

What do you need to do to get all of the League Card stars?

In the Pokémon series starting with Ruby and Sapphire, you get stars placed on your Trainer Card for reaching certain milestones in the game, such as Pokédex completion and entering the Hall of Fame. For the past few generations they have been denoted by background colors and, in (Ultra) Sun and Moon, stamps, but stars return in Sword and Shield. Unlike past games, though, they seem to be more easily obtained. Like the past games, of course, it's not exactly clear what the criteria is to get each star. I have all of the stars so far, but I'm curious as to what the exact criteria is to get them.

What milestones must be reached to get each of the stars on your League Card in Pokémon Sword and Shield?

Having trouble positioning my map art in Minecraft

I am trying to create a map-art in Minecraft. The standard map is 128x128 blocks in size, so I have built a 128x128 pixel art. However, I am struggling to position myself when I create it such that only my creation shows on the map. I have rebuilt it so it lines up with the chunk borders. For reference, the map-art is 8x8 chunks. Am I misunderstanding something? Any help is greatly appreciated.

WARNING !!! SPOILER ALERT. IF YOU HAVEN'T DONE SOLOMON'S MISSIONS (S ON MAP) DON'T READ :)

At the end of the mission in which you deliver the cars (the mission in which we take down police from the bond style car with Trevor driving the trailer and Franklin in the car), Molly denies you any money and rides off. However, once we get control of our character, we can still see her car and can also see it if we quickly take the car parked right next to Molly. I tried chasing her down, and could keep up till the time I messed up and hit the divider. Is there any way to get to her and ahem.. kill her before Michael's revenge?

P.S. this is the first time I am playing GTAV and keep messing up when chasing her every time I try.

How can I kill Evil Marie or Krampus on one life?

I spent a lot of time a couple days ago in an arcade trying to beat the world high score on CarnEvil. As per the high score rules, the attempt has to be done in one life with one gun and the top score presently is upwards of one million (way more than Junior + one other stage could provide), so I know for a fact it's possible to beat all three bosses sequentially on one life. Unfortunately, so far as I can tell, the run isn't available online and I can't find any runs that one-life the bosses without a second player.

The problem is, I have no clue how to kill Krampus or Evil Marie without dying at least once. I can get to either boss with a full health bar but that full health bar always gets depleted at least once since the bosses attack with seemingly unblockable hits right out of the gate. Marie with her axe and magic attack and Krampus with his swipes. I've optimized the shot placement such that I'm completely skipping Krampus's coal attack and all but one of Marie's flying axes, but those are the only two attacks in the boss rotations that can actually be defended against. On top of that, the bosses kind of break with the amount of damage that I'm doing by skipping phases and having their attack lines skipped, so I'm clearly doing better than the programmers expected, but it's still not enough to dodge that full lifebar of damage.

So, I'm open to the idea that there's some kind of trick or weak point that can be leveraged to either block the attacks or do more damage such that I can skip a couple more hits.

How can I safely pilot the Cyclops?

The Seamoth vehicle in the game doesn't dive as deep as the Cyclops. As a result, it doesn't allow me to reach the deepest areas of the world. The downside of the Cyclops, however, is that it moves very slowly compared to the Seamoth, making me vulnerable to the Leviathan-class enemies.

How can I best protect my Cyclops from attack by these creatures? Navigating to and from some of the areas on the map is frustratingly difficult, so I must be missing something.

Test for all player without a score

I need to run a command for @a that doesn't have a score of 1. Is there a way to do that? (0 wont work because the default is no score, not 0). I would list my command but I'm not sure of the format. I want it to set all players without a score of 1 to /gamemode Survival. Any suggestions?

Am I missing a key step here? Or could this be or is this a known bug?

I'm playing Myst on the iPhone in case that makes any difference. I don't believe it should, since the content of the game should not be any different.

How can I contact server admins in Battlefield Bad Company 2?

When a server has clearly posted rules and someone's violating them, I point out the offender's sad counter-social behavior by chat—politely, twice.

If the behavior continues (it always continues) I get the irresistible urge to tattle, hoping somebody will kick the putz.

What's the best way to contact admins? General chat? I've read that some servers (BC2CC?) support chat-based directives like !admins and !calladmin, but I've never gotten them to work. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. Can I tell whether I'm on a server that supports them?
