What is the best Pantheon semi-active build?

What is the best lineup in the Pantheon? Right now I have The mother spirit in diamond and Jeremy in emerald, since I had Holobore in ruby but clicked a golden cookie.

In this ROBLOX script what should I change so that the player sprints by rapidly tapping instead of holding down?

Posted: 10 Apr 2022 12:49 AM PDT

local Players = game:GetService('Players') local sprintSpeed = 30 local walkSpeed = 16 local player = Players.LocalPlayer local function beginSprint(input, gameProcessed) if not gameProcessed then if input.UserInputType == Enum.UserInputType.Keyboard then local keycode = input.KeyCode if keycode == Enum.KeyCode.Q then player.Character.Humanoid.WalkSpeed = sprintSpeed end end end end local function endSprint(input, gameProcessed) if not gameProcessed then if input.UserInputType == Enum.UserInputType.Keyboard then local keycode = input.KeyCode if keycode == Enum.KeyCode.Q then player.Character.Humanoid.WalkSpeed = walkSpeed end end end end userInput.InputBegan:Connect(beginSprint) userInput.InputEnded:Connect(endSprint)

In this script you run via holding down Q. What should I edit to make it so you only sprint when tapping Q? (So to full sprint you have to rapidly tap Q). Greatly appreciated if you could help me out!

How do I make a villager that buys a custom banner

Posted: 09 Apr 2022 08:35 PM PDT

I am not very familiar with command blocks and just want to know how to make a villager buy custom banners and I also want to know what the problem with my code is so that I don't make the same mistake again.

this is what I typed;

/summon villager ~ ~1 ~ {VillagerData:{profession:nitwit,level:2,type:plains},NoAI:1,Offers:{Recipes:[{buy:{id:white_banner,Count:1,tag:{BlockEntityTag:{Patterns:[{Pattern:"mr",Color:13},{Pattern:"bs",Color:12},{Pattern:"cs",Color:1},{Pattern:"bo",Color:12},{Pattern:"ms",Color:15},sell:{id:gold_ingot,Count:5}]}}},maxUses:9999999}]}}

What happens if the level exit is crushed by spikes?

If you spend too much time in a level, spikes start coming down from the ceiling that destroys tiles in it's path. What happens if the spikes crush the level exit door?

In game FPS limiter vs. RTS FPS limiter?

Posted: 09 Apr 2022 09:57 AM PDT

I'm currently using an in game frame limiter to cap fps, so my computer doesn't die. However, the highest limit for that is 60fps. I'd like to cap the fps at 100-144, ideally.

It seems that RTSS lets you do this, but does that also have the effect of lowering stress on the cpu / gpu? I've heard people say that the RTSS frame limiter doesn't actually limit how many frames are sent to the GPU, only how many are rendered.

Do I have to re-buy Minecraft?

Posted: 09 Apr 2022 02:28 PM PDT

I was playing Minecraft some months ago on my Mac since my PC was broken. During that time I had to migrate to Microsoft, and it worked perfectly. Now I got my PC back and when I log in into minecraft.net it says that I haven't bought Minecraft. The launcher says I can only play the demo, but on my Mac I can still play the full version so I am very confused.

How to be certain that games or other apps in the SteamOS Discover center are legitimate?

Posted: 10 Apr 2022 12:29 AM PDT

When you launch the Steam Deck in desktop mode, the UI by default contains a shortcut to something called "Discover Software Center". My experience with Linux-based system is very limited, but I am aware that most distributions have a sort of software center or package manager like this, comparable to an app store. I have read that each Linux distribution has its own repository of games and applications, so I'm assuming the same is true for SteamOS. What I don't understand however, is how these repositories are managed and curated. Does the team or company behind the OS manually verify everything on it, or could theoretically anyone pose as the developer of some popular software and submit something malicious to appear in there?

The specific case that brought this question up for me is when I wanted to install Discord on the Steam Deck. I found it in Discover, but the app's description says "This wrapper is not verified by, affiliated with, or supported by Discord Inc." This has me confused, and there doesn't seem to be any further clarification about this. I am aware of third party clients for apps like Discord existing, but how can I be certain this won't steal my login details, or secretly run other things in the background that I may not want? Similar concerns apply to other games and programs.

Can anything in the Discover center be blindly trusted to be safe? If so, why, and if not, how would you make sure?

What are all the differences between polymorph and death ray?

Posted: 09 Apr 2022 03:07 AM PDT

I am thinking that death ray seems to be more convenient.

Sometimes sheeps pass through.

However, I noticed that husks and skeletons are immune to polymorphs. That means polymorphs "snip" high value target.

Does that work the same way with Death ray?

Basically, please correct me if I am wrong.

So differences are, as far as I know,

  1. Death ray insta kill. Polymorph turn enemies into sheep
  2. Polymorph select the target
  3. Polymorph is 50 gold cheaper
  4. The towers are different

Is that really all?

Does anyone know how to fix this lighting problem on 1.16.5?

Posted: 09 Apr 2022 12:06 PM PDT

My lighting is on maximum, and I've done everything I could, even googling it. But I've found nothing to fix this problem. In the image, theres the weird blackness under slabs and stairs, like theres no lighting there. I want to find a way to get rid of that, as its never happened before. enter image description here

How do I make custom player heads have a NBT tag with commands?

Posted: 10 Apr 2022 01:06 AM PDT

I'm trying to put a CanPlaceOn NBT tag on a custom player head and I don't know where to put the tag. I tried

/give @p minecraft:player_head{{CanPlaceOn:["minecraft:stone"]} display: {Name:"{\"text\":\"Bomb\"}"}, SkullOwner:{Id:[I;-1953510240,1753235720,-1536533983,839781756], Properties:{textures:[{Value:"eyJ0ZXh0dXJlcyI6eyJTS0lOIjp7InVybCI6Imh0dHA6Ly90ZXh0dXJlcy5taW5lY3JhZnQubmV0L3RleHR1cmUvOGRhMzMyYWJkZTMzM2ExNWE2YzZmY2ZlY2E4M2YwMTU5ZWE5NGI2OGU4ZjI3NGJhZmMwNDg5MmI2ZGJmYyJ9fX0="}]}}} 1

and

/give @p minecraft:player_head{ display:{Name:"{\"text\":\"Bomb\"}"}, SkullOwner:{Id:[I;-1953510240,1753235720,-1536533983,839781756], Properties:{textures:[{Value:"eyJ0ZXh0dXJlcyI6eyJTS0lOIjp7InVybCI6Imh0dHA6Ly90ZXh0dXJlcy5taW5lY3JhZnQubmV0L3RleHR1cmUvOGRhMzMyYWJkZTMzM2ExNWE2YzZmY2ZlY2E4M2YwMTU5ZWE5NGI2OGU4ZjI3NGJhZmMwNDg5MmI2ZGJmYyJ9fX0="}]}}} {CanPlaceOn:["minecraft:stone"]} 1`

I don't know what to do to add the NBT tag in the correct place.

Why can't I swim from Darkshore to Felwood?

Posted: 09 Apr 2022 10:34 PM PDT

I was leveling a Druid Paladin, and I wanted to see if I could swim to Felwood from Darkshore to peek in on my partner's raid team. I noticed them flying across the map. I then noticed two small bodies of water connect these two places, but I was unable in game to make this swim. It was like running into a swim-wall that prevented me from going further. I recently deactivated my account, but below is a screenshot of the map.

I'm sure there are practical reasons for this, but I'm curious if I'm the only one who has tried this or if someone knows the actual reasons for why this is not possible.

How do I get my magnetrons to auto attack?

Posted: 10 Apr 2022 04:47 AM PDT

I see many videos of competitive players who magnetrons appear to auto attack enemy tanks. However, I've never been able to do this and have to manually click each enemy tank one by one. I've tried tricks such as enabling guard mode as well but doesn't seem to work.

Can't Find Colton

Posted: 09 Apr 2022 08:01 AM PDT

My son is stuck on this Nintendo Switch game. In order to continue the main story quest we need to 'Talk to Colton' to begin a tournament but we can't find him anywhere.

Normally a yellow indicator appears on the map to show where we need to go to continue a quest, but there isn't one in this case. Is it a bug?

Teleport command issues?

Posted: 09 Apr 2022 09:02 AM PDT

So im trying to make a teleportation area that will teleport players to certain points in my world. I have multiple command blocks next to each other because there are multiple selections as to where you can teleport. I set a command here:

/tp @a[x=41, y=4, z=31] 26 12 10

I put specified coordinates in there because I only want players in a certain point to be teleported. I have 4 of these commands with different coordinates for different places. This is where trouble started. I was done putting in all the commands, and tried it out. The command it tested was set as the following:

/tp @a[x=41, y=12, z=31] 26 12 10

That worked. I tried another one, but, it teleported me to a location that was set in a different command block?? I even double checked to see if had mixed up any numbers, but, nope.

Just for clarification, there were 4 command blocks. I pressed the first on and it sent me to the location set in the second command, vise versa. What is happening? This also happened on another world I had, I dont really know how to fix this. Is there blocks you cant teleport through? Can command blocks not be side by side??

How to ensure I control France after its capitulation?

Posted: 09 Apr 2022 01:02 PM PDT

I was playing the Netherlands, took over part of China, Portugues, and Spain.

After defeating Spain I attacked France from North and south and invaded it very fast almost completely myself.

At some point, France capitulated. The problem is that instead of taking its territories to myself (looking to get its dockyards to build the fleet and assault England), France felt under Germany and created a Vichy France...

As a result... I got nothing. Curious why? How can I ensure that I get at least a part of France's territory till the war is over?

This all is with the plan to get "Putting the Raid on the Medway to Shame" achievement

P.S. If it helps, before attacking Spain I had my own faction with DEI and Venezuela. While in war with Spain, Japan attacked DEI and as a result, when I attacked France I believe I was in this huge conflict when:

  • Japan is in a defensive war against the Soviet Union.
  • Japan is in an offensive war against the UK, France, myself, DEI and many other countries

Can experience of a division go up from a template change?

Posted: 09 Apr 2022 02:06 PM PDT

I've noticed that if I add troops or support companies to a division template their experience will go down (which makes sense because fresh recruits).

So then does the experience of the division go up if I remove troops from the division template?

Faction War Assets Gained

Posted: 09 Apr 2022 08:15 PM PDT

After each match, you get a certain amount of "Faction War Assets". How is the amount you receive after each match calculated? The only thing I could find on Ubisoft's website just vaguely said something like 'doing better gets you more points'. Any more details on that? Specifically,

  • Is it just win/loss, or does your personal score and/or kdr matter?
  • Does match time matter? If so, what is better, longer matches or shorter? Does it depend on if your team won?
  • Does the type of match matter? There is a "Front War Bonus" that gives you 20% - I assume that means that if you apply your assets to a sector that is of the match type you just played, you get that bonus, correct?
  • Is there any kind of handicapping for one faction having more active players during the last war?
  • Are there any bonuses for playing with friends?
  • Do all factions start out even? No, some factions start with a lead when a new round starts, but I'm not sure how that is determined.

Any insight into any of these questions would be appreciated.

How do I see what Blueprints I have unlocked?

Posted: 09 Apr 2022 10:06 AM PDT

I have found a whole bunch of blueprints, some that I was able to see in a crafting station. Is there any way to see a master list of blueprints I have unlocked away from the station that crafts it. For example I found a Lunar Console Blueprint very early on, but I have no idea where to make it, or what materials it needs. How can I find out in game?

Locking the mouse cursor to an Xbox 360 controller, on OS X

Posted: 09 Apr 2022 03:00 PM PDT

Is there any way to lock the mouse cursor to an analog stick, on a regular Xbox 360 controller, in OS X?

Basically, I want the mouse cursor to move with the analog, but also conform to its constraints. That is, when I release the analog stick and the analog resets to the center position, I would prefer the cursor to also move back to the center of the screen.

I've tried out all sorts of things on ControllerMate, but maybe I'm missing something. This video shows another user using the same sort of feature I am trying to access.

Reorganize within a chest in MCPE

Posted: 09 Apr 2022 12:19 PM PDT

I'm playing Minecraft Pocket Edition on my old iPad, but I'm wondering if there is a way to organize stuff within a chest. I'm not asking about how to categorize the different chests, but how to reorganize stuff within a given chest.

I.e. within a Stone chest, I would like for the Cobblestone to be in a given row, or possible to move to a given row, and the Gravel to be elsewhere. Similarly for tools I would like to group the Pickaxe's, Sword's, and so on.

I know I can use other random items as fillers, but that is really tedious work, and I would much rather have a way to move from one block/space within the chest to another block/space in the same chest. Preferably without having to intermediately store it in the inventory.

My version of MCPE is 0.14.3 on iOs, and if answers are version related please state, if known, which version the answer applies to or from.

Errors while Backing up Maps in MineCraft PE for android?

Posted: 09 Apr 2022 05:07 AM PDT

I am going to be getting a new phone soon and want to backup my world to transfer over but when I navigate to games/com.mojang/minecraftWorlds/... and try to copy the contents, only a couple files transfer before an error pops up

ok so now I tried to do it to replicate the error (an error I've seen like 20 times) and it worked... :(

UPDATE: So I was able to get the error again, is just says unspecified error while coping files, and it seems to be the db folder that has the issue

Dragonborn DLC is in a different language from the rest of the game

Posted: 09 Apr 2022 04:04 PM PDT

I have the Dragonborn DLC installed, but the characters voices all seem to be in Polish. Yet, the rest of my game is in English and I don't know why. How do I resolve this issue?

Strategy for solving "Lights Out" puzzle

Posted: 10 Apr 2022 12:44 AM PDT

Lights Out is a grid-based puzzle where each cell has two states: on/off. You can swap the state of any cell, but when you do so, the adjacent cells (horizontally or vertically) are swapped as well. Given initial the grid with random states, the objective is to set all cells to off state.

However, I've never been able to develop a strategy of how to solve (by hand) this type of puzzle. Usually I end up switching cells at random. What kinds of strategy are available for solving this game?

There are many variations of this puzzle, but I'm only interested in the classic one.

This puzzle is available in many grid sizes. It's desirable, but not required, that the proposed strategies work on all grid sizes.

My usual (and flawed) strategy is trying to clear row after row, from the top to the bottom. Unfortunately, I end up unable to clear the last row, and then I just start swapping cells at random, or just ragequit altogether.

There is an open-source and multi-platform implementation called flip as part of Simon Tatham's Portable Puzzle Collection.
