How do I get all heroes to the same map location in Dota 2 Posted: 26 Apr 2022 11:18 PM PDT When playing Dota 2 how do I get other heroes to support my hero? Notice I keep dying when all opponent heroes arrive at the one location and make a 5 versus 1 battle against my hero. However, I do not seem to be able to achieve this tactic against my opponents. I am playing beginner mode if that affects the answer. While I can transport my hero to support hero locations I really want to be able to have my support heroes attack a location or opponent hero I feel is critical. Is there a way to achieve this? |

How to disable vote menus in CS:GO? Posted: 27 Apr 2022 04:06 AM PDT This may seem an odd thing to want. But I literally don't want to see or participate in CS:GO votes.
These votes get me killed constantly, today I was trying to snipe someone and a player kick menu popped up and I tried to press F2 and I got sausage fingers and ended up getting trapped in some weird grey windows or Steam recording menu. It was stealing my keyboard and mouse input and I couldn't quit from it, so I was frozen there hammering esc in vain. Obviously I died. Now this isn't the first time I've been killed by these votes. The votes are never about anything sensible either, it's always someone insulted someone's mum and called her fatso or something, and now fatso junior is trying to get the other person kicked. Or 3 seconds into a game someone wants to change map. It would be easier if there was a way to totally disable the votes in CS:GO altogether, so that the vote menu doesn't popup? Is there some way to do that on my CS:GO game client with public servers? |
How can I stop Forge from crashing when I open a world? Posted: 26 Apr 2022 11:39 PM PDT I have tried everything but whenever I open a world, it just crashes immediately. |
How to prevent Minecraft griefing in Bukkit Posted: 27 Apr 2022 03:04 AM PDT I know it's there somewhere, but I cannot find it. A couple of years ago I was playing on an MC server where there was a good solution to prevent griefing. The method worked in the way that if a player places a block the other players cannot destroy that block and give a red message saying that they don't have permissions. I've installed a Bukkit server with plugins "world-edit, world-guard, PermissionsEx". I need to put the block ID in somewhere but I don't know how. I only need help setting up the block IDs to work with the plugins. I've already chosen the plugins I want to use and don't need recommendations. |
Can't download Minecraft for Windows 10 on new computer Posted: 26 Apr 2022 10:01 PM PDT I recently got a new computer, and wanted to play with friends through Minecraft for Windows 10, but I can't figure out how to download it. Whenever I go to the game "Minecraft for Windows 10" it says I don't own it; when I go to the game titled as "Minecraft", it says I own it.
I am signed into my account and i don't know what else to do since the only other button on screen is "buy as gift". Edit: I forgot to mention that I got the game with a code from when they were giving out codes if you bought Minecraft Java edition. |
Multiple games linked to one world Posted: 26 Apr 2022 08:01 PM PDT BackgroundI like to restart a lot when I play minecraft; and I rarely play online. I am the kind of player who will start a game, get established, explore, and then get bored and start again. However, I like the idea of starting all my new games in the same world. I found that if I replace the 'region' folder in one save folder with a symbolic link (or a 'shortcut' in windows) to the region folder of another save, then they both save to the same location, and changes in one game are reflected in the other; but world generation anomalies tend to occur, due to multiple different seeds being used depending on which game is used. Further, I found that if I linked two games with the same seed (e.g. one that was re-created from the other), then each would act like its own game, as above, but without the problem of world generation bugs. The only downsides seem to be that I have to start and respawn in the same location each time (the global spawn for that seed), and that it is tedious to set up each time I restart. Additional notes: the 'linked' games allow for individual games to occur as if they are different users on the same server; they have different coordinates, inventories, and ender chest contents, but the world is the same. To the QuestionI would like to be able to start new games in (ideally a new location in) a pre-existing world, while having the old game still usable. If there is some kind of mod or third-party package which I can install to automate this for me, that would be really cool. If not, if anyone else has tried and succeeded at this, I'd like to hear your solutions. |
