Does attack type influence status effect build-up and application? Posted: 29 Apr 2022 08:29 AM PDT I have a Morning Star that says it causes "Blood Loss Buildup (50)" as a passive effect. The Morning Star and its passive effect are just an example. This question is about all types of status effect application. I understand the basics of how status effects work. This weapon applies 50 "blood loss points" to an enemy, and if that enemy has 100 Robustness (blood loss resistance), then it will take two hits from this weapon to afflict that enemy with the blood loss status effect. My question is how weapons like this interact with different attack types. Is the blood loss buildup always a flat 50 no matter what type of attack is performed? In other words, does holding this weapon two-handed increase the buildup? Do R2 hits cause more blood loss buildup? Do fully charged R2 hits cause even more? How about backstabs/criticals? |
Does weapon type determine material drops from wild animals? Posted: 29 Apr 2022 08:31 AM PDT Anecdotally, I feel as though once I switched from curved swords and daggers to a curved greatsword, wild animals stopped dropping items as much. Is this the case, or just in my head? Does weapon type have any determining factors in how frequently wild animals drop materials? |
Posted: 29 Apr 2022 08:27 AM PDT In Bloodborne you can buff your weapons with damage scaling, either physical, or elemental. Physical bases damage off three stats: Strength, Dexterity, or Arcane. When looking at the effects of the Arcane Gems, the wiki states:
So if I have one gem that deals 16% Bolt damage, then I apply a gem that boosts my Arcane Scaling by 15%, does that mean my Arcane scaling goes up by 31% in total? |
Posted: 29 Apr 2022 10:01 AM PDT I've recently begun playing Warhammer 40k Inquisitor - Martyr, and noticed that for a reason unbeknowns to me, random enemies damage me through a yellow lightning bolt. I've taken a screenshot here: As you can see, there is a yellow lightning bolt between me and the Goreforged Enforcer, which deals way more damage than his gun, and I can't for the life of me figure out what it is, why it is happening and how to avoid it. |
Is there a “special edition” version of The Elder Scrolls Online? Posted: 29 Apr 2022 08:54 AM PDT I've just about finished Skyrim Special Edition (as much as one can) and I'm looking to move into The Elder Scrolls Online but I'm confused what I should actually buy. I went for Skyrim Special Edition as it included all DLC content. Is there an equivalent for the TES Online? The best I've found so far is the Gold Edition which includes four minor DLCs. If such a version doesn't exist, what is the minimum I need to buy to get the "full version"? |
