| Was Peach's third letter in SMB3 really about the white fall-thru platforms? Posted: 13 Apr 2022 01:32 AM PDT In the original Super Mario Bros game, the third Peach's letter reads:
Most players assume this to be a reference to the white platforms that allow the player to drop behind the scenery when the down/crouch button is kept pressed for a few seconds. This answer even goes as far as claiming that the mail is an hint for finding the hidden whistle hidden behind the scenery at the end of level 1-3. Yet, apparently the original Japanese message reads:
which multiple source translate to something about kicking white blocks to attack enemies. This seems more fitting the "white block" that Buster Beetles throw at Mario in some levels, which makes more sense since these blocks can be used to "defeat your enemies" like Peach suggests in her letter.
... but the Mario Wiki seem to imply that those blocks are considered a type of Ice Blocks . And at the same time the old Nes Game Atlas (should be official) does indeed use the name "White Block" for the white fall-thru platforms.
So... can anyone with a better understanding of Japanese find any confirmation about the original meaning of the message? Is this just another misstranlation that by pure chance ended up to fit another, actual gimmick in the game or was the message really about the white fall-thru platforms? |

Now I'm at my first playthrough and I unlocked all maps and areas. I was checking if there is anything I missed before finishing the game and I noticed the graces at Weeping Peninsula are pointing at Castle Morne. We know that graces point to Demi-gods and guide us to their location. For example the ones at Limgrave points to Godrick, Liurnia points to Rennala, Caelid points to Radahn and so on. But what are the graces at Weeping Peninsula pointing to? There was no Demi-god at the end. It was just a bandit boss with that Game Of Thrones great sword. Am I missing something? Is there any Demi-god or great rune over there? I couldn't find anything in |
| How do I know if I've found all the "discoverable" places in Skyrim? Posted: 12 Apr 2022 09:47 PM PDT According to my game stats; 388 locations discovered, 326 dungeons cleared. It doesn't say much besides that and I can't find a definitive answer. I am playing on PS4, Elder Scrolls V, @87% progress, no mods or Anniversary Edition upgrade. Is it worth it to buy the AE upgrade? |
| Posted: 12 Apr 2022 06:52 PM PDT I've been trying to grow a large jungle tree in a specific area, but the problem is nothing seems to be growing, and I'm not sure if the reason is how close it is to the walls or whatever the problem is. Should this setup hail results, and if not, what can I do to fix it? |

Posted: 12 Apr 2022 05:31 PM PDT Are world slots in Realms for Minecraft Bedrock completely isolated from each other, in that one slot can have a world with achievements enabled and no behavior packs, and another slot has a second world with achievements disabled and has behavior packs installed? Or will installing behavior packs disable achievements for all slots? |

| How does difficulty affect XP rewards in Co-op Vs. AI matches? Posted: 12 Apr 2022 05:05 PM PDT Previously, in League of Legends, Co-op Vs. AI games would give different XP rewards based on the player's summoner level and the difficulty level of the bots. The old rates can still be see on the League of Legends Wiki here. However, the table shown on that page is out of date, as it does not include the "intro" difficulty level or summoner levels beyond 30. The Riot Support page provides updated numbers for how summoner level affects XP rewards (assuming that "Level 30" means "Level 30+"), but makes no mention of how difficulty might affect those rewards. Does difficulty still affect XP rewards from Co-op Vs. AI games in any way, or are rewards now consistent across all difficulty levels? |

| Why is discord displaying what I’m playing when I have no connections? Posted: 12 Apr 2022 07:04 PM PDT I connected discord to my xbox live account and I played a game. I got out of it, later disconnected my xbox live account from discord, and it still says I'm playing the game I was playing even though I wasn't even on the xbox. It said I was playing a certain game for 22 hours, and I can't turn it off. I have the discord mobile app, and my friend took it off. Later I went back on that game and the same thing happened. How do I fix this? |
