| How is the Damage Roll Multiplier for Kinetic Knights Calculated in Pathfinder Kingmaker? Posted: 05 Sep 2021 01:53 AM PDT For example, some of my characters have damage rolls of 1d6+5, and my character (a Kinetic knight using a kinetic blade) has a damage roll of 4d6+7. I am aware that 4d6+7 means that I roll my dice four times, add the result, and add it to 7, giving me an attack value anywhere between 11 (4+7) to 31 (24+7). I am also aware that some weapons have fixed damage roll multipliers (as shown on the Pathfinder Wiki). However, I haven't found any sources explaining how exactly the damage multiplier is calculated for my kinetic knight's kinetic blade. I have seen other people with damage roll multipliers of 10 (10d6+1, for example). The game doesn't really explain, and I have been trawling forums and the in-game encyclopedia in search of the exact formula, but to no avail. Thanks in advance for answering my question!  |

| What is the point of Speed-changing moves in Pokemon? Posted: 05 Sep 2021 03:51 AM PDT I've been playing the Pokemon games for many generations (though not much in the competitive/PVP arena). In all that time, I've never quite wrapped my head around the proliferation of moves that either buff your speed or debuff your opponent's -- especially the latter. Obviously a high Speed stat is almost always good; getting the first hit usually means you win the fight. I'm not talking about that. And a move that attacks and buffs/debuffs speed is still an attack, so that's fine. I'm talking specifically about moves that don't do anything except change speed, like Agility or Cotton Spore. I can see a few specific scenarios where it's useful. Setting up for another move that specifically benefits from a Speed differential, like Gyro Ball or similar; being able to (usually) see what move Copycat is going to copy; Baton Passing to a slower teammate. I can sort of see using Agility to set up a sweeper, though taking a turn just to speed up seems like a risky proposition for a glass cannon, and slowing your enemy down isn't really going to accomplish much in that case. Outside of those situations, I can't see how adjusting Speed is useful. If I was acting first anyway, then it's useless, and if I go second and the move changes initiative order, I haven't actually altered anything; we're still basically trading hits. Yet, there are so many speed-modifying moves (which I almost always forget as soon as possible) that I feel like there's something I'm missing. Is there some strategy or method that I'm overlooking here?  |

Posted: 04 Sep 2021 09:19 PM PDT I have completed the main story of NEO: TWEWY and am attempting to complete the game's final dive mission on Another Day. According to this guide, (which contains a late-game spoiler), the final dive should be located in Dogenzaka. However, when I go there, the NPC for the final dive isn't present. How do I find the NPC for the final dive on Another Day? Why can't I see them in Dogenzaka?  |
| Finding massive numbers (e.g. for idle/clicker games) with Cheat Engine Posted: 04 Sep 2021 04:59 PM PDT Idle/clicker games have a tendency to use massive numbers that blow far past the limits of even a 64-bit variable, so using Cheat Engine to find the memory-address where they're stored in a game is particularly hard. Even using the unknown→increased method won't work because contents of an address are only part of the number, so it may increase, decrease, or even remain unchanged when a value changes, depending on what part of the number that address contains. Worse, there is no standard way to store massive numbers, so it could vary from game to game. For example, one game might round and drop significant digits, another might store a few digits and an exponent, another might store it as a string, while yet another might manually cobble multiple 64-bit variable together to form a 4096-bit+ variable. Does anybody know an effective strategy to find massive numbers with Cheat Engine?  |
| "Surgeon Simulator 2: Access All Areas requires an active internet connection" Posted: 04 Sep 2021 04:03 PM PDT I've tried playing Surgeon Simulator 2 on the PC Game Pass, but every time I launch I get the above message. I thought maybe their servers were overloaded, but I've been trying for days now with no luck, while my friends are able to launch successfully every time. There's lots of reports of this problem in the "app reviews", but none of them suggest any fixes. I clearly am online, since I'm posting this. Is there any way to actually play this game?  |

I want to go digital so I can save all of my progression when I have to buy a newer console. Can I sell my disc copy and buy digital DbD and save my progression? Sorry if this doesn't make sense, just a causal gamer trying to save my progress.  |

| Does Boomer ever drink from the toilet in Far Cry 5? Posted: 04 Sep 2021 08:19 AM PDT Okay, bare with me here, but it's a stereotypical joke that dogs drink water from toilets. Normally, I wouldn't really concern myself, but, I'm becoming seriously curious at this point. Since freeing Boomer from the Peggies, we've visited three houses together. At each one, he somehow ended up in the bathroom, and, at the toilet of all places:
With this in mind though, he never actually puts his head in the toilet; he just simply looks at it. Since this is a running joke in a lot of media, I figured it might be one in Far Cry 5 too; especially after finding a Reddit post that shows Boomer playing in water after turning on a water pump. However, after searching the web for a while, I haven't found anything definitive on the topic; though this is likely because most players wouldn't normally concern themselves with it. Is this just a huge coincidence, is it inferred behavior (as in, it will happen again but he never actually puts his head in the toilet), or does Boomer ever actually "drink" from the toilet in Far Cry 5?  |

However, I'm not seeing an explicitly defined benefit for doing so. I thought perhaps, since camouflage outfits are available that wearing them might help in stealth situations, but I've been unsuccessful in proving this. The wiki is also unhelpful, simply describing what can be done in the character customization screen, along with the items that can be unlocked:
This leads me to believe that it's purely cosmetic, but at that point, it's a first person game, so you as the player can't see your character. Do your customization choices show in the cutscenes at any point? What purpose does character customization serve in Far Cry 5? Note: Please use spoiler tags in your answer where appropriate.  |

What I liked about the game is that I could play 2-player/co-op/split screen campaigns. I tried playing Modern Warfare for the PS4, but couldn't find the option to play 2-player/co-op/split screen campaigns. I'd like to get a PS5, but will only get one if I can play Modern Warfare in 2-player/co-op campaigns. Is there an option in PS5 to play Modern Warfare in 2-player/co-op/split screen campaign?  |

Turning off the Migration capeI want to stop seeing the Migration cape on other players. You can turn off your own cape via this setting in ...but there is no option to stop seeing the migration cape on other players. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Texture pack editing and/or mods are both acceptable solutions, as long as they also revert the elytra into the original design. If a solution requires disabling the ability to see all capes, that is undesirable but acceptable. Thank you!  |

Posted: 05 Sep 2021 04:21 AM PDT I have found one pinhole in some of my discs, from Xbox 360 to Wii U to PS4 games, they are visible from label side and reflective side. The strange case it's that the last 2 games that I have beat (Mario 3D World and Bloodborne) have them, and I haven't noticed anything during the gameplay. Can it get worse at a point to make them not readable or it's just a myth? Edit: Some photos of strange cases Can anyone confirm if they have disc rot or early signs? Posted: 04 Sep 2021 06:07 PM PDT I am making a one block skyblock that is going very well except the items fall off the edge when they shouldn't because a command block should teleport the item to the infinity block, but they aren't. Why and how can I fix it?  |

I got it from this video, the only component not shown in the image is a redstone torch on the back side of the top stone block. It works by stopping the minecart if there are items in the hopper, and letting the minecart go if the hopper is empty. This works fine if I manually put items in the chest above the hopper and I'm careful not to over-fill it. Now, I would like to have this contraption at the end of a farm, some distance away (but not so much that the chunks aren't loaded) from my storage building. Can I modify the contraption so that the cart leaves if the hopper is empty OR the cart is full? Alternatively, can I make it so the cart leaves only when full?  |

| Having trouble joining friends world in Minecraft PE using wifi Posted: 05 Sep 2021 01:10 AM PDT I'm trying to play with my friend and were running into some difficultly. Both our wifi's are connected to the same network, literally right beside each other. We both have multiplayer on. We both have the newest update of Bedrock. Neither of us can connect to each other's worlds. We have even tried on different devices. When I go to my settings in my world it says friends of friends, but won't let me change it, saying I need to sign in to my Microsoft account. Well, my friend and I don't have a Microsoft account, or we couldn't sign at the moment... but I'm pretty sure all you really need is the same wifi connection, right? I'm having some real trouble and it would mean the world to me if you could help!  |

I don't want to play the role playing aspect of it, I just wanna play the regular version, like, the one where you steal cars, shoot guns, but not the story mode. I've read that you can legally share your games with another console just by putting your account as primary on the fellow console. But what happens when the PS4 has more than one user? Let me make an example. I will have the PS4 and I have a brother. We are going to have two users, because I don't want him to play on my savefiles. So, I will buy my games on my PSN account, and trade them with my friend's account. So in my user, I'm going to have as primary my friend's account, secondary mine, and my friend will do the opposite. Question: is there a chance that my brother in his account will be able to play the games that my friend shared to me? Will it overwrite any save? Will he need to log in as my friend's primary account? So that's it, sorry for my English, I'm Argentinian, and I hope I made myself clear.  |
| TTG Minecraft Story Mode cloud saves fail Posted: 05 Sep 2021 12:07 AM PDT I have played Story Mode on 5 iOS devices and 2 android devices. On all devices I am unable to get cloud saving to work. One device I was initially able to enable it but it never works (when saving there is a red x on the cloud indicating failed save). My internet is not an issue. I'm able to use other game feature that use the internet. Has anybody else experienced this and know how to fix it? Issue occurs on iOS 9.0.2 and 9.1 (no jailbreaks). I forgot the android version but I think it's 4.1.  |
| How do I create a custom server with a custom map? Posted: 04 Sep 2021 02:46 PM PDT I recently got into fooling around on mg_ servers, which are basically servers whose maps are "mg"s, mini games. These minigames range around actual parkour, to deathrun, bunnyhopping maps, obstacle courses, etc. Of course, I'd love to be able to play these maps by myself, but it doesn't seem like I can actually start a custom server with a custom map; it seems I'm restricted to Valve's official maps. How do I play on a custom map? I'd like it so I can play offline if I need to, or online.  |
