How to change world save version?

I only have access to 1.17 and can't update because it is Education Edition. I have a world that was saved in 1.18. The world is in Bedrock format and is the only format that seems to be compatible with my Minecraft application.

Is it possible to change it to the older version or at least have it converted?

I will supply the world file to ensure the chance of success is greater.

I bought Minecraft Windows 10/11 edition for a friend on their Microsoft account but when they try to download it on their end it says they still have to buy it. I signed out their Microsoft account then they got the option to install it, but it just pops up with learn more and gives them instructions on how to install it. We have followed the instructions but it's still saying they have to buy it, is there another way for them to install it?

Does the expansion pass also affect the main game?

Aside from gaining access to the new regions (and the new pokemon within), does the expansion pass for Pokemon Sword/Shield affect the main game in any other way?

In some other games I know, having a certain DLC installed also altered some of the things in the base game (e.g. the Trespasser DLC changing some items you get as quest rewards in the Dragon Age Inquisition base game), even when you hadn't accessed the DLC area/story/... itself yet.

As long as you're not accessing the new areas, does it make a difference whether the expansion pass is installed or not? Meaning is there a benefit to starting the game with the expansion pass installed as opposed to purchasing and installing it after playing the base game?

How to sell planimals in Monster Harvest?

Are there any alternatives to PRINT_MODE:2D that is compatible with Stonesense on macOS?

DFhack comes with Stonesense pre-installed. But when I run the stonesense command from the Dfhack console, I get this error message (when I use PRINT_MODE:STANDARD):

The current print mode is not suported  Change PRINT_MODE in init.txt to 2D or a similar choice

The problem is, I am using a Mac, And MacOS does not support 2D mode. I have tried using PRINT_MODE:TEXT, but the DFhack console will not launch.

I have also tried FRAME_BUFFER, but I get the unsupported print mode error.

Console commands don't show up as letters, but as square symbols

I have a problem with in-game console commands in TES V: Skyrim Special Edition, where instead of letters, it only types as square boxes. They look something like this □□□□□□. I have also installed like 50 mods but I am not sure what causes the issue.

My Minecraft skin won't change from Alex or Steve even though I've changed it

I've had Minecraft for the longest time and have NEVER had this problem. I've done everything I've seen others do, I've uninstalled and reinstalled Minecraft, I've changed my skin in Minecraft main site but still nothing. My launcher and the Minecraft site both say it's changed and is being used, but when I load up a world it converts back to Alex, or Steve. This is making me really frustrated and I would like any help I can get.

I use a MacBook. My launcher for Minecraft is up to date to it's in 1.18.2, and I just don't know what to do anymore.

Minecraft won't download on SSD

When I open Minecraft and try to download it, it will only let me download in C: and won't let me download in D: SSD.

Does minion position matter besides passives?

I started playing the Mercenaries mode in Hearthstone and I might have missed it during the tutorial, but does minion position matter besides treasure passives. I have come across a passive where Tyrande Whisperwind does more damage to "directly opposite" characters (iirc, I can't find info on different treasures online).

I know that red crits green, green crits blue and blue crits red, but does it matter if they aren't directly opposing the weaker roles on the board?

Why I can't break blocks in my single player minecraft education edition world

I can't break blocks in minecraft:education edition. I also can't interact with chest,furnace and can't attack any mobs. My school doesn't use minecraft education edition but I downloaded it from my school website for learning computer science. Also when I use my school account in a different device, I can break blocks... If you know how to solve my problem, pls help me..

Object spawner not working right

I am trying to get a skull to respawn when the game starts. For simplicity I just hooked the object spawner up to a button for now. When I click the button the object disappears and reappears a long distance from the object spawner. The tags are the same, it is wired correctly. This is the 3rd object spawner in this room, the others work fine. I took a video to show exactly what I mean. Any help would be appreciated.

How to make a piston turn a block into an item on Minecraft for PS4?

I'm trying to make an auto cobblestone farm and have been trying to make a piston push a block into another slab to drop it into a hopper as an item and into a chest.

However I don't believe it is working because I am playing on ps4 edition. Is there another way to make it happen for PS4?

How do I get the runes in Normal difficulty?

In Shadowgate (2014), I'm in the Shadowgate castle on Normal difficulty (i.e. the easiest one without the time limit), and I'm afraid I'm stuck. When I ask Yorick for hints, he says this:

The wizards would not have placed so many powerful runes in the castle if they did not have some greater purpose. Perhaps you should take them for yourself.

I see that, for instance, the Empty Room, after dispelling the illusion with the Flumoris spell, has a rune that has an eagle on it. But when I try to take it, I get the following:

You struggle to get ahold of the rune, but it doesn't budge from the wall.

I've tried all my spells on this rune and the others, as well as different ways to pry it out, but nothing seems to be working.

How can I get these runes?

Minecraft Bedrock player save file locations

I am working with a server here. There are many players in the server, and I want to see where the player-data files are stored. According to this link ( How can I get the inventory of another player on a LAN World? ), there should be a folder named "players" in the world's save folder. However, I only see a folder called "db" (with many .ldb files) and also the files level.dat, level.dat_old, and levelname.txt.

Am I missing something?

How to pick a clan in Tap Titans 2?

If I search for clans I get 2 hits:

  • Numbers of members in a clan
  • Clan quests

What are those?

It seems to me that clan quests are like random titan poping out. What's the effect? Increasing the size of cannons from clan ship? What?

Usually if I pick some random clan with 8 clan quests, every time there is a clan quest, it's done in 1 minute.
Then I look on the web and join a clan with 20 clan quests. This time I am the only one killing the titan.

Another page talks about clan level or clan challenge:

When you are deciding which clan to join, join the one with the highest challenge level that you can possibly find. The highest possible challenge level is equal to the amount of days that the game has been on the store. Hit the reload button over and over and over to refresh the clan directory if you need to.

What is clan challenge level? What is that supposed to mean?

Anyway, my maximum stage is 900. Actually I don't know for sure. How do I know?

How do driver choices and kart customizations affect actual play in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe?

In MK8D There's no (obvious) indication of whether your driver and kart selections (kart body, wheels, glider type) have any impact on how you drive.

I'm pretty sure I recall that in earlier games some of these choices translated into in-game physics differences. I think some drivers had higher top speeds, but worse handling, in the N64 game? And I thought I recalled that sure motorcycles behaved differently than karts in the first game they appeared in? But I don't see any driver or kart part stats to suggest that's true in the new game.

So my questions are:

  1. Do any of these choices (driver, kart parts) affect how you actually race?
  2. Assuming some do, which ones?
  3. Is there any way in-game to see the differences and compare them?

I can't get Wujeeta to activate the skooma dealer quest

I wanted to be the thane of Riften because it's my favourite city. I went to Wujeeta to give her a health potion and to activate the quest so I can become thane. But after I gave her the potion the quest would not show up. I tried waiting an hour (not in-game time) and I checked back, but there is again no option.

So I looked up this issue. Apparently, if you clear Cragslane cavern before you do the quest, it will bug the quest. It was advised to wait 3 in-game days for the bandits to respawn. I waited, but they still didn't spawn.

I read that if you clear out the cavern 3 times it should be fixed. I have cleared it twice and I am still stuck. I also have tried setstage freeformriften 12 10, but still the problem wasn't resolved.

I also have 24 mods installed and running on my Skyrim game. Does this mean that I can not buy Honeyside and become the thane of Riften?

How can I view the content of a USB stick on a PS4?

I'm trying to view some data that's on a USB stick in my PS4. I tried formatting the USB stick with FAT32 (4GB), but that didn't work. I tried a second one, doesn't work either... or I just don't know where to look for my data.

I tried in Settings -> Devices, but there are no storage devices it seems. So I go to Settings -> System Storage Management, nothing there either. How can I access the USB stick or how can I transfer data onto a PS4?

How can I host a LAN world on a Moto G Android phone?

My brother and I both own Moto G Android phones which are fully updated. We both own Minecraft .11.1 the latest version of Minecraft Pocket Edition. Neither of us can host games using our WiFi, but we can both see and play in Maps hosted by other Android devices, not Moto G devices. This tells us that the problem must be something to do with our particular phone's settings. Does anyone know of anything we can change that will allow us to host games from our phones using the normal easy method of Local game hosting via WiFi that the game designers intended?

We've tried to connect unsuccessfully, after clearing our App memory caches and we've tried restarting the App and turning the Allow Local Server Multiplayer switch on and off again under options. We've tried using other sources of WiFi, we've attempted to connect with Bluetooth.

Lots of people seem to have the have this issue with Moto G phones. However not a lot of information is available on how to fix it.

Do I need specially made maps for it to work?
