How to change the weather in a private session of GTA Online?

I know cheats are not allowed in GTA Online, so I'm looking for another way to change the weather.

I have a private session for friends in GTA Online where the weather needs to change. How can I do this? Specifically in GTA Online, not in single player.

Maybe some kind of glitch or cheat - just in case.

Command for magic items in Minecraft Education Edition

I'm creating a game for my school on Minecraft Education Edition, which is Bedrock based. At a point in the game, the players will collect items I rename on an anvil that will give special abilities, e.g. a book that summons lightning, a book that replenishes health of nearby players, a book that makes the holder invulnerable, a helmet that allows night vision, and a few others I am working out.

How do I code command blocks to tag a player either wearing item or holding in off-hand and allow the tagged player to have the effect happen?

The Witness audiologs - are the conversations "real"?

In The Witness there are orange-coloured audiologs underground. They often feature dialogue or monologue by what seems to be the game's developers. Are these actual recordings of the development process that they put in, or was this all also scripted and acted out? I tried searching the Internet, but could not find anything. Have the authors ever commented on this?

Added: I'm not really interested in fan speculations. The game is deliberately very ambiguous so there's bound to be lots of those in all directions. I'm wondering what the makers of the game themselves have said.

And if they haven't, then if there is some fan speculation that makes such a strong case that it has become the prevailing opinion in the community, I'll take that too.

Otherwise we can just leave it as "ambiguous", which is, I think, the best word to describe the entire game. :)

What's the benefit to slowing time with the Bullet Time card in Golfie?

In Golfie, there's a card called Bullet Time which slows down time by 25%. That's great and all, but I don't understand why I actually care about slowing down time. Once you fire a ball, you no longer have any control of it, so the slow effect doesn't help at all from what I can tell.

The only usage I can think of is that there are some other cards with activation abilities (like Jetpack), but they're all rare cards too, meaning Bullet Time would be completely useless unless you've got another very specific rare card in your deck. I can only assume there's something I'm missing here, and that's some other usage or interaction for Bullet Time.

In what exact manner does an NTSC SNES game differ from being played on a PAL SNES+TV?

I have a PAL SNES and a PAL CRT TV from 1989. I do not believe that it supports NTSC; it only says "50 Hz" on the back.

Some SNES games were never released in Europe (or anywhere which used PAL), so for certain games, such as Final Fantasy III (VI), there is only an NTSC version.

I have the NTSC American ROM of Final Fantasy III (VI) on my FXPAK PRO cartridge. I am able to start the game and it appears to run perfectly well on my setup, because the cartridge has some sort of NTSC-to-PAL converter mechanism built in.

This kind of "NTSC-to-PAL converter" existed back in the day as well, as a physical thing, but I never had one or knew anyone who had one, so it doesn't mean much to me.

Since the PAL and NTSC consoles are hardware-wise different, and the NTSC and PAL TV systems were quite a bit different, I have to assume that there are some differences compared to if I had run the game on an NTSC SNES with an NTSC-capable TV, but I have never been able to determine just what those differences are.

What exactly are those differences? How major/minor are they really? Is the game/music/logic speed slower, faster or the same for me? Is the resolution compensated for somehow? Are various special effects not displayed properly because of my PAL/50 Hz technology? Etc.

Prior to asking this question, I made an experiment and put the USA (NTSC) version of Super Mario Kart on the cartridge and tried that on my setup (and also the European/PAL one afterwards), which is a game I'm very familiar with, but was unable to discern any differences. (Although I did have it muted, so maybe the music is different speed. I also cannot fully trust that my eyes can determine minimal differences.)

I'm trying to make an evoker. I have enchanted a shield with a banner on it, but I cannot get the banner to work on the shield.
Here is the command I am currently using:

Why has part of my world loaded in as a flat world?

I made a world and spawned at 192, 64,-185 and for some reason part of the world at around -659, 64, 986 has generated down into the world as a flat world. Why is this? I have looked around and can't find an answer. I have checked and the flat world area was only 4 blocks thick.

Anecdotally, I feel as though once I switched from curved swords and daggers to a curved greatsword, wild animals stopped dropping items as much. Is this the case, or just in my head? Does weapon type have any determining factors in how frequently wild animals drop materials?

Can I send players to different Bedrock edition servers?

I'm using vanilla Minecraft Bedrock server software, and I want to send players from my server, to a different server. However, I'm not sure how to accomplish this, if it's even possible at all.

Is it possible to send players from one server to another? Does anyone have any ideas on how to? Is there different software or plugins I have to use?

Where is the guard that drops the "Bearer of sorrows"?

According to the PAthfinder:Wrath wiki, the Bearer of Sorrows drops from "Senior guard in the Fleshmarket in act 4".

But in the Fleshmarket there is no "Senior guard" - there are slave traders, two regular guards, a pirate and various traders that you can attack via dialog option. But no "senior guard".

How to check if item exists before giving the player a new one

I have tried a few ways and tried many commands but I just don't seem to get it right.

What I'm trying to do :

I have a Minecraft realm with a town center where each player can press a button, which triggers a command block, giving them one pickaxe with a unique identifier (not sure what or how). Would be nice if the pickaxe could be named after the player who pressed the button like "Minecraftuser12312 Pickaxe" but not important,

If they press the button again I need to make sure they do not have the item and if the item is also not just thrown out to pick another one up from the command block.

Any help would be appreciated <3

Things to know :

I am the realm owner and command blocks are enabled in the world.

How to fix this Minecraft lighting problem that I am facing on version 1.16.5?

So I am on minecraft version 1.16.5, and whenever I place some sort of light source the nearby blocks start looking like this: enter image description here

It just looks so ugly, the block partitions become visible and the wall loooks like it's made up of blocks of the same type but of different shades. I'm using a shader pack, but that's not causing the problem as when I turn it off the problem still persists.

Please provide some possible fix, as I am not able to put lanterns in my house anymore.

Edit: here's an interesting thing... enter image description here This is with smooth lighting set to 100% and to maximum with the shader pack disabled.

Now this... enter image description here When I removed the wall directly In front, it disappeared. It seems like the walls are casting some sort of shadow on each other. Should I just update to 1.17 or there is some other problem?

How are No Man Sky Expedition initial appearance/equipment randomized?

The recent No Man's Sky update introduced a new gameplay mode called Expedition.

Introducing a whole new game mode: Expeditions. Each of these events starts from a fixed point in the universe, bringing the whole community of travellers together to embark on a shared journey.
Each expedition is structured around a series of Milestones. Complete these unique exploration goals in any order as you earn rewards, meet up with fellow travellers, and experiment with new ways of playing No Man's Sky.

Expeditions are assigned to separate game save slots. Apparently, Expeditions start from a fixed planet in the galaxy, and should follow a specific path, visiting specific "Rendezvous Planets"

Special Rendezvous Planets along the Expedition route create dynamic hubs of activity. Reunite with other travelers on the same journey, group up with the community to build a settlement, or simply wave hello as you pass through.

That said, the initial info I got mentioned that each Traveler would be assigned a random starting appearance, ship, multitool and so on. After the patch dropped I briefly tried the new mode on a separate user account on a Ps4 console and my initial appearance was an anomaly type.

A bugfix patch later I have started the Expedition. To my surprise, even after restarting the mode multiple time I always got the same initial configuration - a Vy'keen Traveler with red armor and red multitool... Must be an Atlas sponsorship.

you can see that in this case the player seems to start on the same planet but with a different appearance from the one I got.

Since starting the expedition multiple times without saving always gave me the same character, I am wondering. How are expeditions seeded? It is the initial player appearance tied to the current console user playing the game? And in that case how are appearance randomized on the PC version - Windows user or something related to Steam maybe?

PS4 remote won't connect to PS4 after being connected to iPad while PS4 has error message

I have been playing PS4 through my iPad, with the remote connected via Bluetooth to the iPad. Just recently the PS4 crashed and when it restarted, there is an error message which gives you an option to report to Sony. I cannot press this with the remote since the remote connects through my iPad app and the iPad app needs the PS4 to be on and connected (not in the error message mode it turns to).

I tried to connect the controller via the options and PS button, I tried with the wire, I tried disconnecting from iPad and forgetting device from it as well, nothing is working. I can't even go to safe mode since I can't use the controller. I have a second controller and that one doesn't connect through wire either.

Why is my Xbox 360 not connecting to controller and showing up on my TV?

I connected my Xbox 360 after 6 months and connected it to the LED, but it was not showing up on either HDMI 1 or HDMI 2. The remote is also not connecting (through wireless), which shows on Xbox but rather it keeps flashing. I have changed the HDMI cables too.

Minecraft too many logins / blacklisted IP help?

I've been having a problem for the last 15-16 hours now where the game will refuse to let me play due to a "blacklisted IP or too many logins." However, I was told that this ban would last at most 1 to 4 hours from other sources. Is there any way I can get the login to work? Nothing also happens when I try to login on minecraft.net.

Stuck in Hades in Zork

I was really far in the game and went to the cellar to then being eaten by something (I forgot) and got transported to Hades.

I read a thing saying to go to an altar and pray but I don't know where it is. You start off with being in front of a bell which you can't pick up (your hand goes through it). The only way you can go is South (or East) and get to the candles, matchbook and black book. You can't read the book, light candles or light a match. You can only go back to where you started, AKA going North. What do I do? I'd rather not start over.

I have this farm with multiple layers that needs to change to make it compatible with 1.14.4 everywhere there is a blue ice block I want to place a layer of snow on top of it. I found the overlay command however this doesnt work as there are multiple layers in this farm. Is there an easy way to put a snow layer on top of every Blue ice block?

Combat mechanism in Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands

I am playing Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands for the first time and I'm at the point where Malik unleashes the Solomon's Army.

From the past experience of playing The Warrior Within and The Two Thrones I can see a huge difference in the combat system. The game severly lacks "combos" or am I unaware of it?

In Two Thrones and in Warrior Within we could "Block with the sword, throw the secondary weapon, attack while wall running, do a swirl with the sword, throw the enemies" and much more.

I cannot see any of this in the Forgotten Sands, if there are any so called "combos" then a detailed description would be helpful.

What debuffs are available for temporarily reducing SPECIAL stats?

If you pick up the You're SPECIAL! book to gain +1 to any SPECIAL stat while a stat is already at 10, you normally won't be able to pick that stat. You will be forced to pick a stat that is at 9 or lower. So you normally can't use the book to go from 10 to 11 in a stat.

However I tested how the book works with stats that are affected by a de-buff because this would reportedly enable you to get the stat bonus even if the base stat is 10. Here's what I did and what happened:

  1. When I just took the book with 10 base intelligence and no int modifiers I could not pick Intelligence as the stat to increase.
  2. If I have 10 in Intelligence, drank some Whiskey to temporarily reduce my INT to 9 and then took the book, I was able to pick Intelligence to increase. When the duration of the Whiskey ended my total base INT was at 11.

So, what ways do we have to temporarily decrease each stat by at least 1 point in order for this to work with all stats? I would like to compile a list that at least covers each SPECIAL stat, without console commands.

Should I buy the Spectre Requisition Terminal weapons?

There are a few weapons available from the Spectre Requisition Terminal in the Citadel, but they're all crazy expensive. As far as I can tell, there's really no way to determine how their stats stack up against what I've already got.

What weapons are available here throughout the game? What distinguishes them from other weapons I find or buy along the way? Are they worth their cost? Are there better weapons available elsewhere?

How do I take screenshots of fullscreen games on a Windows 7 PC?

I want to take screenshots during gameplay. This is on a PC with Windows 7. I don't want to use Fraps because my PC sucks and can barely run the game.

What are my options? I would prefer something like the OS X screen capture with Command + Shift + 3.
