How to make an if not statement?

I'm making a shop where you can buy something with emeralds. If you can afford it, it plays the mob.villager.yes sound. But if you can't afford it, it plays the mob.villager.no sound. How do I script the "can't afford" part?

Minecraft Data pack bug, mobs are just floating items

I play on a Mac, I'm not sure if that matters since it worked every time up to this point. This is what's wrong, for example. I have installed a random datapack, a snow golem with a melon head instead of a pumpkin head. But if I install the data pack and make a melon golem, the head is instead of a melon block a item melon piece.

The same is with every other Datapack mob, for example, a copper golem Datapack (a vote mob from Minecraft live 2021). If I spawn a copper golem from the pack, it's just a floating walking copper ingot, as a item. Just a floating walking item, the same in every other datapack mob, just one or multiple floating walking items, random items. This annoys me very much and I don't know what to do. The datapacks don't come from the same person or download site. It's just every mob from datapacks. Can anyone please help me with this problem?

Minecraft Five Nights at Freddy's door/jumpscare system

I got a tip to break up my questions into parts so here it goes.

Background Information

  1. I have created a "door" that is concrete powder and is pushed up and down by redstone, pistons, and a lever.

  2. how i am making the animatronics move is a scoreboard and a command block scenes when it reaches a certain score and when it does they teleport using /tp @e[type=armor_stand, name=Foxy] 8 11 9 facing 8 11 8 this is right outside the door.

So what i am asking is, how would I use commands blocks and redstone so that when the animatronic is outside the door, it sees if the door is closed, and if not, jump scare? How would i create two paths for it to follow?

I cannot join my sisters Minecraft Java Edition LAN server and she can join me but there's an error

So basically I can't find my sisters LAN server and she can find mine, but there's an error when she joins,

io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException: Connection timed out: no further information (then the i.p. which i cant show)

I am wondering if anyone can help me fix this, I've tried adding an exception to the firewall, adding public to it, adding private to it, none has worked.

I know the syntax error is between stick{display:{N and I know that it has something to do with the "{"

I have also tried using:

CARROT_ON_A_STICK;display:{Name:{Rod_of_Teleportation}}CustomModelData:000000,Rod_of_Teleportation;1*b*;

however it wants me to replace the italic b with ';'

Could you please tell me what the error is and how to fix it? Thanks.

How do I make kits in Minecraft for my minigame using command blocks? [closed]

I am trying to make a Plants vs. Zombies minigame and I'm having trouble making command block chains. I am just having a frustrating time because no Youtube video really goes over it that I have watched, and I watched like 23 videos. If you could help, please let me know how to do this!

Why are my materials decreasing?

I've got a steady decline of both Carbonium and Ironium at the moment where not long I go I had increases. I know some of my mines have run out, but I don't recall these materials being used for anything except construction.

What structures or other reasons would cause Carbonium and Ironium (and other resources?) to drain steadily over time? I've been running around my base trying to find the culprit and with zero Carbonium it's getting hard to make any repairs.

Five Nights a Freddy's in Minecraft. How to make a jumpscare, make a power system, and how to know if a door is closed [closed]

I am making a Five Nights at Freddy's minigame in Minecraft education edition, and I am stuck on three things.

  1. How to test if the door is closed
  2. if the door is closed nothing happens, but if it is open I need to know how to make a jumpscare. The door is not a real door is concrete powder that is moved up and down by a pistons and activated by a lever.

I don't know how to make two paths, one of the doors is closed, two if it's not. The final thing I need is to how to make a power system when every time I close 1 of two doors, turn on 1 of two lights or teleport to a camera the power goes down, and if the power does turn to zero cue a jumpscare.

Summary of problems:

  1. test if the door is closed
  2. make a path if the door is closed or not closed
  3. make a working power system
  4. make a jumpscare for 4 different animatronics

I'm trying to apply potion effects to mobs in a certain radius of me without applying it to myself as well, is this possible to do with the current state of commands in Minecraft 1.17?

Does the number of "days" that a save has been going on for, matter?

Does the number of "days" that a save has been going on for, matter, in either the first game or the second? Or is it just for your information and has no effect on anything?

Because I've been sleeping and farming for loot in the Den of Devil in the first game for I forgot how long and am at 400+ days, and I want to know if I should reset.

Are there some timed quests that fail if not completed in some number of days, or only are available in certain day ranges? Or is the "days" count just something for those who want to know stats?

Sort of important, given that reloading the second game's tutorial quest advances the clock by 2 days, then autosaves.

Is it better to use Gatling Peas or Fume Shrooms for Endless Survival?

I'm playing Endless Survival in Plants vs Zombies on my phone, and here is my current setup:

Current setup

I originally had a Gatling Pea on the top and bottom lanes, but then I realized that while it has a bigger range, the Gatling Pea only hits the front target, which can really clog things up with large hordes.

The Fume Shroom on the other hand, while it has a shorter range, hits everything in its range.

I did a bit of research about how much damage they both deal, and the Gatling Pea deals 20 damage per pea (so 80 per round) and the Fume Shroom also deals 20 damage per Spore, however it only deals one shot per round.

Which is the better option for Survival mode?

Jetpack turning on when I finish climbing a ladder on my rover?

Every time I climb the boarding ladder from my rover, my jetpack turns on even though there's a perfectly good platform right there.

How do I prevent this so that folk can easily board my rover without having to jump, or build a bulky boarding ramp setup?

1 game license 2 kids in same house want to play at same time - how?

I am getting conflicting answers to my question.

We just purchased Minecraft Windows 10 (April 2020) for my son. However, my daughter wants to play too at the same time and go into a realm to play with her brother. Playing on 2 separate computers in the same household. How can we do this without having to purchase another game license?

Some of my search suggests that this can be done without having to purchase another license, I just need to create a new account for her. If so, what type of an account? A Microsoft account or a Minecraft account? And then how do we link it to the original purchase? Note, we did not create a Minecraft account when we purchased the game. We purchased it from Microsoft and downloaded it from there.

If the above is NOT possible and I do have to buy another game, then what about this...can I link the ipad Pocket Edition to the Windows 10 game so that my daughter can play on the ipad with her brother on the computer? I purchased the iPad version as well. They just don't like it as much.

How can I get more materials in Orna?

To upgrade my equipment at a blacksmith shop, I need to get materials somehow. I found some bones, stone and wood on the map, but that almost nothing.

I know I can also get a little bit of materials from disassembling items but even with these two way materials seems very hard to find.

Am I doing something wrong? What can I do to get more materials?

PC controller issue: D-pad affects X-rotation

Recently, I discovered an issue with my PC controller(namely, Redgear Pro Wireless gamepad). Whenever I move forward in a game(left thumb stick up), the direction changes to the left and whenever I move backwards(left thumb stick down), direction changes to the right. So basically I move forward and left simultaneously, backwards and right simultaneously. The left thumb stick seems to be linked with the right thumb stick(which governs the direction of movement in most video games). Sometimes the controller works properly but most of the times it has this issue. The following screen shot of the game controller settings shows the problem in detail:

Now I thought this was a software issue, so I tried my controller in some other PC and unfortunately, I'm having the exact same issue. This seems to indicate that the issue is with the controller itself(i.e hardware issue). This has been bugging me for a while. I've tried to articulate my issue in the best way possible hoping that someone can provide a viable solution(I do not wish to purchase a new controller). In conclusion: please help!

There is a neat tune (edit: reuploaded) on YouTube uploaded in 2013, called the "Main Theme" of The Witcher 3. Judging from the date of upload, it might as well be fan-made, but it sounds really polished. Some people in the comments claim that this was from the first trailer, but I was not able to find any trailer containing this music.

Is this tune official? Where is it from?

How to zoom out in DOTA2, spectator and SFX animator tool

I was working on a new short film project, and I was wondering if there is any way of capturing video of the whole DOTA map, then slowly zooming in to a lane?

This would be in spectator/replay mode. I want to be able to zoom out completely for a bird's eye view of the whole playing arena.

I tried using dota_camera_distance 5000 but that "wraps the map in clouds" and I can't see any aspect of the map.

Additionally, is there a way of hiding the top bar with hero icons, and the HUD?
