Posted: 06 Sep 2021 01:47 AM PDT They're in the final mission for the 'Progeny' investigation, but they don't seem to do anything. IIRC in XCOM 2 they were for timed mission events, but there is no timer here. So what are they for? |
How to increase Wizard Level/rank Posted: 05 Sep 2021 06:51 PM PDT According to the faq, there's a bunch of different levels/ranks/titles for your wizard. But nowhere can I find how to actually increase this. I thought maybe online games would contribute to it, but haven't managed to find a game to test it out. Also tried doing the trials, but that doesn't seem to increase it either. Is there a way to increase it for single player/friends play? |
How do I replace the water in a 128 x 108 blocks sea base? Posted: 05 Sep 2021 06:59 PM PDT I'm making a sea base in creative and it's absolutely massive. 108 x 128 blocks. I've tried using Is there anything else I can do besides sponges? I'm on console so no WorldEdit either. |
I'm 2 to 3 hours into The Witcher 3 and drowners are impossible to kill. What am I doing wrong? Posted: 06 Sep 2021 04:07 AM PDT I figure that I am doing something wrong, because most of the Drowners that I find take nearly zero damage from sword, and the only way to make them is to jump until the Igni thing reloads. Is that normal? Maybe I'm doing something wrong. The game isn't as fun because of that |
How do I confirm kills in Tarkov? Posted: 05 Sep 2021 03:43 PM PDT During long range fights, I regularly find myself wondering: Where did that PMC go? Did I get him? Has he escaped the location? Or has he taken a position to ambush me as I come closer to check for bodies or blood? Occasionally I am lucky with voice lines, quest completion (SBIH mostly) or rag-doll physics before closing in. Other players seem to be able to tell more quickly & reliably when one of my mates went down. Do I just need to get better at aiming and looking, or am I missing some important method of confirming a kill? |
Posted: 06 Sep 2021 02:50 AM PDT I can try lighting up caves but it seems very difficult would building a mob farm 128 blocks up ignore unlit caves? I'm in mid game and I technically have enough cobble to build a mob farm. Now location Should it be in ocean if so should I also build high up how high? Where should my mob farm be and how high should it be built? |
Champion Island; Where are the three pieces of driftwood that the Kijimuna asks you to find? Posted: 05 Sep 2021 11:36 AM PDT By the ocean, where the Marathon event is on Champion Island, is a Kijimuna that works in a studio producing wooden sculptures. She asks you to retrieve three pieces of driftwood that have washed up on the beach so that she may start a new sculpture. She would do it herself, but her poor knees are killing her. Two of these pieces are very obviously placed on the beach itself directly outside of her studio. But where is the third one? |
Do your officers as captains of another ship inherit your stats? Posted: 06 Sep 2021 02:04 AM PDT If I set one of my officers as a captain of another ship, is it my character stats (Sailing, Accuracy, Cannons, etc.) that govern how well they can sail and fight or does the game only use their personal stats? This is a very confusing aspect of the game since officer bonus are reflected as your character's stats. For example, I may be a 1 in combat but if I have an officer with his own rating of 10 then I am also considered a 10. You can only set one officer to captain another ship but there are more stats needed than a single captain will generally have that are required to sail another ship. This is what is confusing. |
Right Joycon buttons aren’t working Posted: 05 Sep 2021 06:03 PM PDT My right joycon buttons (specifically a,b,x,y, home, +, R and ZR buttons) haven't been working for a few months now. I have tried two different joycons, both of them don't work. I have all the recent system and controller updates. The left joycon works fine. The right one doesn't work both attached and not attached. What is the problem? |
Bravely Default - Helplessly dying during main story Posted: 05 Sep 2021 09:06 AM PDT So....I've recently gotten into Bravely Default. Simple. But, here's the thing...I really can't progress. I've had trouble with all of the bosses, especially with The Jackal and other side quests, with them taking over (And I'm not exaggerating) an hour as Jackal kept healing himself with the potions he stole from me, and me dealing absolute pitiful damage. I was also stuck and had no way of passing Orthos, which I only won thanks to an Ablink with 9999 damage. I was able to deal with the Turtle on the way to Sage Yulyana on foot by poisoning it and stalling out. But now, my cheese strats are no longer working - which is quite a problem, as it was my only strat of beating bosses. I'm in the middle of Chapter 2 where I have to get through Twilight Ruins to get to the Water Vestal, and I'm getting absolutely destroyed by the everyday common enemies there. They're all weak to Earth so I made Agnes a Summoner, but that spell takes way too much Mana to use even once, and all enemies there take at least 2 hits of that to knock out properly. On top of that, the Imps keep healing themselves while dealing nearly half of any team member's health as damage using Drain, and Silence turns my mages - the only real weapon I have against Imps - into sitting ducks. This was how it was for me, on every step of the journey. I had to continuously run back and forth across the map to heal up at Inns, and that usually let me struggle through. But Twilight Ruins is my breaking point - I have to run back to an Inn every 2 battles, 3 if lucky. Items aren't a viable option either, as they're hella expensive and do next to nothing to keep my members alive as every enemy just cancels whatever potion I used anyways. Am I doing something wrong, or do I just have to grind? Would very much enjoy a good answer, as I'm stuck on not even 1/4 of the game. My current team is Lv.24 Tiz as Monk(Lv8)-WhiteMage(Lv1), Lv.24 Ringabel as DarkMage(Lv7)-WhiteMage(Lv1), Lv.24 Edea as Freelancer(Lv8)-Monk(Lv1), and Lv.24 Agnes as Summoner(Lv4)-WhiteMage(Lv7). |
How do your get generator-settings for a void world Posted: 05 Sep 2021 09:04 PM PDT Pretty much the title, I have tried before but to no avail, I am asking here because I do not know how the new json format works and have found no documentation on it at all. I have tried to use this command: but it won't work. |
What would be the easiest way to detect if a player breaks a block in Minecraft 1.16? Posted: 06 Sep 2021 01:05 AM PDT I want to add block breaking detection and right click detect to a datapack I'm working on. I want this to be multiplayer friendly and I need to know who broke the block. To add right click detection is easy. I just have a scoreboard for using a carrot/fungi on a stick. Now, I want to add block break detection, but I also want to know where the event occurred as a part of the detection. This is we're I'm stuck. I can use raycasting for location, but I don't know how to detect if there is a block that was broken. I can't use a bunch of scoreboards for each individual block. I don't know if I can use loot tables to add a player uuid to a special drop as nbt. Although for that method, it probably won't work because in that same datapack I have a loot table for each block already. I have to have right click detection and block break detection both using a carrot/fungi on a stick. So using used pickaxe/other tool scoreboard won't work either. Raycasting also won't work since it isn't multiplayer friendly because you can't detect who broke the block. If you have any questions or if any of this is unclear please comment below. Thanks for helping. |
Is it possible to start a new game in Metal Gear Solid V: TPP? Posted: 05 Sep 2021 04:16 PM PDT I've taken a four year break from MGS V:TPP after finishing it in 2016. Now I want to jump back in with a fresh playthrough so I can reexperience the struggle of growing Mother Base from it's beginnings. However, I don't see an option to reset my progress in the main menu. Is there something I'm missing? |
Area Effect Clouds: RadiusOnUse/DurationOnUse Posted: 06 Sep 2021 12:04 AM PDT In my testing the radius and duration of Area Effect Clouds can be altered when entities come into contact with them, but only if the Cloud has a potion effect to apply to the entity and the effect is of a certain group of effects. For some reason Clouds with effects like Thick and Mundane can be summoned even though those effects cannot be applied to a player. I want to alter the duration or the radius (either or, doesn't matter) of an Area Effect Cloud when it touches an entity without applying an effect to that entity, is this possible? |
Are remapped Xbox buttons stored on the controller? Posted: 05 Sep 2021 06:15 PM PDT Via the Xbox Accessories app, it appears that you can remap the buttons on your Xbox one controller (awesome!). Question: Would the newly remapped button scheme be stored directly on the controller? Or on the Xbox/PC? In other words, if I remap the buttons, and then use the controller with a different Xbox/PC, will my remapped button scheme come along with me to the new system? Is the behavior any different with the Elite controller? |
Posted: 05 Sep 2021 11:04 PM PDT I have played and modded quite a bit of Skyrim, both Oldrim and SE. While I can't claim to have passed page 10 of the google search results, I still don't know what an ENB is. I have some knowledge of what it does, but all of that is inferred. So what actually is an ENB? |
Why can't I see my hotbar in minecraft? Posted: 05 Sep 2021 10:17 AM PDT I was playing yesterday and I might have pressed a button but my hotbar, hand and crosshair was gone. I pressed almost every button Imaginable and fixed nothing. |
Can I join someone's normal mode game with my elite mode character? Posted: 06 Sep 2021 03:00 AM PDT I have many characters in Torchlight 2 but they all are in elite mode. Can I join the game of another player who is playing on a different difficulty? Alternatively, once started in elite mode I can change it to normal mode? Or is only when you start? |
What does this option at the end of NieR: Automata actually do? Posted: 05 Sep 2021 05:37 PM PDT After beating in NieR: Automata's last main ending, you get two options. One of these is simple enough. But after that question, you're given a heftier question. Your pod asks if I said no, leaving me curious as to what he meant. What exactly would have happened if I had I hit yes? |
Which etiquette are being used, and in what order? Posted: 05 Sep 2021 11:53 PM PDT In Shadowrun: Dragonfall, I am playing a Samurai with high Charisma, and am trying to use much etiquette as possible. The issue is, etiquette are pretty narrow in application and in my playthrough I keep getting them in the wrong order. What I am looking for is a spoiler-free list of etiquette to pick up each time I gain a choice, and the order I should pick. (For instance, there's a side-quest, early in the game where you will need both Corporate and/or Security etiquette.) |
Steam Family sharing - Overlapping shared libraries Posted: 05 Sep 2021 04:05 PM PDT Let's say I have two friends (A and B) who shared their libraries with me. Let's also say they both own a copy of the game I want to play, and that I don't own it myself. Now logic would say that if one of my friend (A) is playing this game, the Family Sharing system would make the switch and allow me to use my second friend's library (B's). That doesn't seem to be what's happening. What seems to be happening is that the game seems to be ONLY in the shared library of the first friend who shared his library with me (A). As a result, when A is playing this game, i can't play it as well, even if B isn't using his library. Is this a known issue ? Is there a way around it ? Thanks in advance. |
Updated Skyrim, and Now I Can't Attack With Left Hand Posted: 05 Sep 2021 09:06 PM PDT I just installed an update to Skyrim, but now I want to get rid of it because I can no longer attack with my left hand at all. Because of this, I can't hit with bows, magic, or anything left-handed. I can only attack with my right hand and 'strong hit', so it's costing me a lot of stamina. If I try to hit with left hand my character makes a special move (like he attacks with both swords; not the strongest attack) which isn't what I want either. Are my mouse button inputs messed up somehow? How do I fix this? If necessary I can upload a video to Youtube, but hopefully this will be enough. |
