Is there a way to replenish ammo in battle without using a Capture Point?

Posted: 18 Jul 2022 11:18 AM PDT

In War Thunder it seems that your tank's ammo can be refilled at Capture Points. Usually, this isn't an issue as most tank can carry more ammunition than can realistically be used. However, for Tank Destroyers which may hold as few as ten shells, fast-firing and low-capacity rocket vehicles, and nearly any anti-aircraft vehicle it is feasible to run out of ammo in battle.

When this happens is there any alternative to driving to a capture point to replenish ammunition? This is hardly an appealing action when in a heavily-armored tank, and far less attractive when driving a lightly-armored SPAA.

Is there any way to get ammo in a Ground RB battle? If all Capture Points are held by the enemy team then ammo seemingly cannot be refilled at all. Can I get it from my spawn site or perhaps from other players?

My scoreboard shop isn’t functioning correctly and allows you to buy in the negatives

Posted: 18 Jul 2022 07:35 AM PDT

I am making a shop using command blocks and the Minecraft scoreboard system. However, when I use it with negative numbers (or zero) it still allows me to purchase.

My commands are as follows:

Impulse 1:

/scoreboard players test @p money minPrice maxMoney

Impulse 2:

/scoreboard players add @p money -minPrice

Impulse 3:

/give @p item

My command blocks are linked up like this:

Impulse 1, Impulse 2, redstone repeater, Impulse 3

A variable index for /data modify ... insert

Posted: 17 Jul 2022 11:47 PM PDT

I have a list in my nbt storage and I need to insert the first value in it into the variable index. I would do this via /data modify command, but it doesn't support scoreboard values as index, only raw numbers. I know how to realize this with the very long function like this:

execute if score var obj matches 1 run data modify storage st list insert 1 value 1000 execute if score var obj matches 2 run data modify storage st list insert 2 value 1000 execute if score var obj matches 3 run data modify storage st list insert 3 value 1000 ...

But I don't want to solve it this way. Can I do something else?

Why can’t I get plants for my zen garden? I competed nine mini games, eight puzzles, and three survival worlds and I didn’t get any plants [closed]

Posted: 17 Jul 2022 11:40 PM PDT

I sold all my zen garden plants and tried to get more. I looked up how to get more and it said that plants dropped in mini games, puzzles, and survival. So I played in all of them but nothing dropped. Can someone help me?

I can't enter the Nether [closed]

Posted: 18 Jul 2022 01:51 AM PDT

I have a problem with my Minecraft world where I used to play in Forge 1.16 with mods and then I recently switched to Fabric 1.17 with different mods. The last time I played on the Forge version I was in the Nether but now in the new Fabric version I spawned in the overworld and I can't get into the Nether.

  • I'm in Creative mode

  • When I step into the portal, I get infinite purple loading animation like this: enter image description here

  • There is NO PARROT on me that prevents me from going to the Nether

  • I tried to use commands to teleport me to the Nether like /execute in the_nether run teleport but there is no Nether or The End option, only overworld dimension enter image description here

Please help me because I have a huge mob battle arena on the Nether roof. As far as I remember I did not put any modded blocks in the Nether that can break my Nether. Please forgive me if this is a dumb question or if it has nothing to do with fabric mods because I am not an expert in this game.

Thank you so much in advance.

Why does this '/execute at […] run summon' command not work?

I am trying to make all arrows shot by the player have lightning bolts summoned on them while they are not on the ground. Here is the command:

How do I sign in to PlayStation Network on a second hand PS3?

I lost all my stuff in Minecraft because of a disconnect

Posted: 17 Jul 2022 09:25 PM PDT

I was playing on a realm in Minecraft on my Nintendo Switch. I was using my hotspot and then it disconnected from the internet and I got disconnected from the realm.

When I got back on, I spawned where I had previously set my spawn point. It took me 1 minute to get back to where I had supposedly "died" (or where I disconnected from) and nothing was there. I'm really frustrated because it's hours of hard work gone.

How do I clear Morvunskar? [duplicate]

New downloaded maps do not appear in pictures list in Practice with bots - Casual Mode

Posted: 17 Jul 2022 02:16 PM PDT

  1. I downloaded new maps into the ..\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\maps folder, but they don't appear in "Practice with bots - Casual" mode. The common map pictures are shown in the print screen below. There, the new downloaded maps are not listed.

  2. I can load the new maps through the command map [mapname] at the prompt, but I'm interested in select it by its picture, which is easier.

  3. How can I proceed to include this new facility in the game interface?

Where to find email for Minecraft account in .minecraft files?

Posted: 18 Jul 2022 10:11 AM PDT

Forgot my Microsoft email for my Minecraft account. Tried looking in the .minecraft json files but couldn't find anything. I know it was possible in the past but maybe it isn't now through Microsoft? Any help to find it would be appreciated.
I've looked at previous questions and they mention a launcher_profiles.json file but that file contains much different information now with just profiles of Minecraft versions you have played.
There is a launcher_msa_credentials.bin file that I think might have it but I have no idea.

Is there anyway to input a command upon the first player joining and the last player leaving my Minecraft server?

Posted: 17 Jul 2022 12:57 PM PDT

We're running a modded server with Serene Seasons and I'd like to toggle the season cycle gamerule whenever players are online then again when everyone is offline. I don't seem to have any automated tasks features on my server dashboard so I'm wondering how I might do so with Commandblocks or if there are any alternative options.

I fell into the Cloud Sea at Torigoth. How do I get back on land? [duplicate]

I accidentally fell into the Cloud Sea while exploring Torigoth. I swam around for a while, but I can't find any stairs or a ladder to get back on land.

How to sign out or disable an xbox that won't turn on?

Posted: 18 Jul 2022 05:48 AM PDT

My Xbox One X suddenly started turning off as soon as I turn it on. I hit the xbox button, hear the "Beedledeep" sound, then a second later it turns off. Its out of warranty and I don't want to pay $200 to fix a $150 console, and I prob don't have the chops to open it up and troubleshoot it myself.

So, is there some way I can simply deactivate it or somehow safeguard my account so that I can sell it for parts? I think I had it set to auto sign-in on boot.

I wanna add Minecraft to my Steam library but I can't access Minecraft.exe

Posted: 17 Jul 2022 09:40 AM PDT

Whenever I try and move Minecraft.exe to my desktop to select it for Steam it says "the file could not be accessed by the system."
The Minecraft launcher I use is apparently a shortcut for something. Does anyone know what's up?

How to merge two recorded games in AoE2 DE that share a common point?

Posted: 17 Jul 2022 09:30 AM PDT

Situation: We were playing a game and the game dropped. Then we restored the game. Now I have two recorded game: one before the drop and one after the restore.

Question: How can I merge these two records into one record?

Use-case: Actually I have many such recorded games that I have just manually renamed as part-1, part-2, part-3 etc... But in the end it becomes difficult to mannage. I wish I could merge them for some sanity.

p.s.: I found a great github repository aoe2recfun that merges "replays from different players together so that you can see all the chats in one replay". I have asked this question as a feature request on its github issues.

I also asked this question on Reddit AoE2.

Prompted by this comment I discovered another great github repository aoc-mgz. I have asked this question on its github issues as well.

How to summon a ravager with momentum

Why won't slime spawn in my slime chunk in the ocean?

Posted: 18 Jul 2022 03:05 AM PDT

I dug out a slime chunk in between Y levels 24-28. I lit the room very well and a single hostile mob hasn't spawned in the room. The room is 7 blocks tall. It's about 5 chunks away from land to avoid hostile mobs spawning in nearby caves preventing the slime from spawning. I triple checked the coordinates and everything to make sure I was in a slime chunk. My slime chunk coordinates are 536,309 (x,z) and my seed is 8857034577360149641 if that helps with anything. Please help me solve this issue.

How do I break out of a conditional command loop once it succeeds?

Posted: 17 Jul 2022 05:00 PM PDT

I'm fairly new to using commands. I am working on a little project about a mini-game and i've come to a roadblock. I am using Visual Studio Code to work on this project and have set up my own data pack. In this mini-game there are different waves. For wave 1 there are 12 enemies.

I've set up a scoreboard system so when 1 enemy is killed it adds 1 to the scoreboard. To activate Wave 2 i've set up a command:

execute if score @e[type=armor_stand,limit=1,sort=nearest,tag=test] monster matches 12 run schedule function mc:wave_two 1t append

I've put this command in a tick function so it'll run every 1 tick. The issue with this is that once the conditions are met it'll constantly run this command. Can I make the condition stop checking once it works?

Where are the unmarked vendors of Genshin Impact?

Posted: 17 Jul 2022 12:26 PM PDT

So asides from the marked vendors in each town, there seem to be quite a few unmarked vendors in each town, in addition to vendors found just roaming the world. How many hidden vendors can I find throughout the world, and where can I find them?

Alternative to Steam's "add non-steam game" dialog?

Posted: 18 Jul 2022 07:14 AM PDT

Steam allows you to add non-steam games to the client. However to do this you have to click the "add non-steam game" button and find the game in the list of all installed programs. I find this kind of a pain, and was wondering if there is an alternative?

Perhaps a folder somewhere inside the Steam folder where I can just drop the shortcut created by the installed game?

I know this seems like a very small annoyance, but still, just in case.

Edit: After some more searching I found there are multiple people asking for improvements to the non-steam games system. All are quite old questions, without much activity.

What is the scoring system for bombers on War Thunder?

Posted: 18 Jul 2022 11:55 AM PDT

As a bomber, in War Thunder, you do the dirty work of winning the game while everyone flies around in fighter jets. As a bomber, your goal is to take down ground targets, but the confusing thing is, which ground targets are the most important to hit?

I'd like to know the scoring system for things like Pillboxes, Armored vehicles, Bomb Targets, Cruisers, Base Airstrips, Carriers, etc. I don't need to know how many Lions I'll get for them, but rather in-game points. Many say that the score board isn't important, but that's similar to saying Rep isn't important to SE. It is.

I'm most interested in the scoring system of Realistic mode, but if you know Arcade scores too, that would be great contrast info.

Is Franklin more likely to attract police attention in Blaine County?

Posted: 18 Jul 2022 02:13 AM PDT

When I'm driving around the northern parts of the map as Franklin, the police seem to be on more of a hair trigger than they are when Trevor or Michael is around. They seem quicker to respond and it seems easier to increase your wanted level from one to two stars.

Unfortunately this is just a theory at the moment and it's difficult to test but I wondered if anyone else had noticed this or had any information about it.

It would make sense for the police to be more racist in Blaine County because that's the type of place it is (try going to play darts as Franklin and see the reaction you get), and also I guess Driving While Black is more serious in a place where everybody is white.

How does Skyrim determine if a dungeon is "cleared"?

Posted: 18 Jul 2022 05:34 AM PDT

Skyrim adds an awesome feature, that lets you know if you have cleared a dungeon or not. This saves a lot of time and effort, because you do not have to revisit every dungeon you have been through like in Oblivion. Now I was wondering, how does the game determine if you have completed/finished/cleared the dungeon. I figured there are some options, including:

  1. You have killed every enemy.
  2. You have obtained every 'important' treasure.
  3. A combination of the above

There might be even more options that I have not thought of. Can anyone shed some light on how the system works out if you have finished a dungeon?

1 comment:

  1. You can enjoy greater gaming performance and increased privacy by disabling Steam Overlay. However, this may restrict access to some features and a number of Steam's community-related aspects. Everything comes down to your preferences and the needs you are trying to meet.
