Are external coolers really helps with noisy work of PS4 PRO?

Posted: 23 Dec 2021 05:06 AM PST

I saw on the internet some external coolers for PS4 which are prepared to install on the back of console. Does this solution really help with reducing the noise of the working console? During play some games I hear that my PS4 PRO works really loud, but I'm not sure that adding some extra coolers reduces this problem.

If it's going to be an unnecessary gadget that takes up space on the console shelf, I'd rather forgo its purchase. So, has anyone used such a solution and is satisfied with the results?

Are Enchantment Points offered for Ancient Hunts lost forever?

Posted: 23 Dec 2021 04:49 AM PST

As far as I know, in Ancient Hunt mode you can offer and sacrifice a combination of equipment possessing certain runes to make different Ancient mobs spawn.

But it's also possible to offer Enchantment Points to start a hunt, which should increase the ratio of Ancient mobs found.

Hence my question:
Are those Enchantment Points sacrificed and therefore lost forever like the equipments?
Or can I get them back if I successfully complete the Ancient Hunt?

How to make arrows to not bounce back but explode when they hit an entity?

Posted: 23 Dec 2021 03:56 AM PST

I made arrows explode when they have the {inGround:1b} tag but the problem is that they won't explode when they hit entities, instead they bounce off them and hit the ground then explode.

How do I make it so that arrows won't bounce back but explode when they hit an entity?

Can I transfer game data on my dad's account to my kid account?

Posted: 23 Dec 2021 05:35 AM PST

I have a lot of data and games on my dad's account like Minecraft, for instance, and I want to transfer that data on my account because I want to start playing on my account. All my games and data are there.

Is it possible to transfer all that stuff onto my account?

Why are there huge gaps in my world?

Posted: 23 Dec 2021 05:44 AM PST

After a long night of gaming with my boyfriend, finally making a nether portal and exploring for a bit, we logged off for the night. However, when I log on this morning to work on stuff, our whole house, along with the ground surrounding it, is just gone.

There are huge holes in the floor, along with small remains from our house and farm. I assumed it was a chunk error, so I tried resetting them, but it didn't work. I tried logging off and back on again, but it did nothing. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling my game, but it did nothing. I checked my other world, and it was completely fine, so I'm being led to the conclusion that the Nether may have destroyed the world; however, from the way the holes are formed it doesn't seem like damage from a mob.

Something else that I thought was weird is that some grass that we broke to make room for our farm and egg farm had regenerated. We had two rows of wheat, plus some space for fencing and lighting, and suddenly the grass is back. We also had a panda enclosure with some bamboo, and as you can see in one of the images, the ground under it is gone; but it's still standing tall and proud.

There is also a huge hole behind this area, and I'm really stuck on what the cause could be, because if it was mob damage, I assume it would be a lot less severe and more prominent. If it was missing chunks, it would've been a lot simpler to fix.

We've spent so much time on this world, and it would suck so bad to find out there's nothing we can do. I am running Minecraft version 1.17 on Windows 10.

I went back to check on the world. The MB's keep going up, yet there's no change to the world. I found some corrupt files after looking into my world files on my drive. Any ideas on how to recover them?

Is there anyway to make mobs not attack you while playing in survival mode in minecraft edu?

Me and my friend are building some type of a RPG game in Minecraft: Education Edition and we were trying to figure out how to make mobs nonhostile while in survival and in normal mode.

I searched up commands and stuff like that but nothing worked.

I had tried the /scoreboard teams command as well, but yet, it didnt work either cause you cant use the team part in edu

How do I set up Undertale on an iPad?

Posted: 23 Dec 2021 06:49 AM PST

My nephew is all excited about Undertale, but did not play the game yet. I would like to gift it to him for Christmas. Unfortunately, he only plays games with his iPad (and is not computer savvy) and I am only familiar with Windows and Linux.

Is there an 'official' way to play Undertale on an iPad? What is the best (simplest for me and easiest to use for him) way for me to set this up? Where can I find detailed and easy-to-use instructions to make this work?

I set up an account on Steam and noticed that it's possible to give games to another user. It would be no problem to set up another account for him and give the game from my account to his, but I don't know if this will work with his iPad.

How to counter Spy in medieval mode?

Posted: 23 Dec 2021 02:26 AM PST

In Medieval Mode, the Spy keeps two of his three most important mechanics -- the Disguise Kit and the Backstab, while the third, the Sapper, is just no longer needed as there are no buildings.

On the other hand, the most important ways of Spychecking, namely the "bite the bullet method" and the Flamethrower are no longer here, so Spychecking is very hard.

Moreover, even if you suspect someone of being a Spy or even know that it's a Spy, you can still do practically nothing until you get into melee range. And then you are actually very likely to lose the engagement because most Spies playing Medieval are very skilled at circling you and landing deadly Backstabs. Going third person works, but in a limited way: circling you is still possible, though not as easily, and it becomes much more difficult to aim, so Snipers and crossbow Medics are greatly endangered.

Against two Spies, you are most likely damned -- one of them will get in a backstabbing position. If half the enemy team are Spies, it's possibly better to just leave the server and wait for this to end.

In a normal game, a suspected Spy becomes a dead Spy very soon or at least has to retreat to safety before attacking again.

How do I actually counter the Spy in Medieval Mode?

I spawned giants with the /summon command. Why won't they do anything?

Posted: 23 Dec 2021 06:15 AM PST

I used /summon Giant. The giant appeared, but it won't attack or move on it's own. It can be killed and moved forcibly, but nothing else. I was on adventure mode and then survival mode. It still won't attack.

Why isn't my crop being fertilized?

Posted: 23 Dec 2021 04:03 AM PST

I have two set-ups for crops for two different fields. In the large crop field, my set-up is like this:

F: Fertilizer, C: Crop, -/|: Furrow

F-F-F-F | | F F F | | | F-F-F F | F-F-F-C

This set-up works, the crop is consistently showing signs of fertilization and I pull increasingly higher starred crops from it.

My other set-up, which is placed in one of the more significantly smaller fields isn't working.

F | F-F-C

It's been two seasons and the fertilizer sticks haven't shown any signs of dropping levels. I've pulled the crop a couple times to check if the fertilizer is working, but it isn't. Is there any reason why my second set-up isn't working?
