| Thermals issue while playing games Posted: 29 Dec 2021 11:55 PM PST I have an HP laptop with Intel i3 5005u CPU and Radeon R5 M330 2GB GPU. When I play games both CPU's & GPU's temperatures gets up to 99°C and mostly stay above 93°C temp. Should I continue playing with these temperatures? I mostly play Valorant on low settings and it gives me 40-60 FPS but I feel thermals are high. Please give a best suggestion. Thanks. P.s. I'm using Windows 7 ultimate with 8gb of RAM. |

Is it possible to copy it or put it in a spawn egg or any other form of similar things that don't involve me manually recoding the NPC at every place I want it? |

| minecraft forge keeps crashing 18.1 Posted: 29 Dec 2021 05:37 PM PST Every time I try to open Minecraft using forge I am given the message that it crashed using exit code 0. However, when I open the game output, it says that the process crashed with exit code 1. I can open Minecraft normally on vanilla. I have gone through all of the fixes on this link, https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/solved-how-to-fix-minecraft-error-exit-code-0/, but none of them worked. | Can I use Steam Family Sharing with five user accounts plus one account per game? Posted: 29 Dec 2021 03:54 PM PST This is a follow-up to a question from 2010: Can I create one steam account per game? Since then, Steam introduced Family Sharing, which significantly changes things. The idea is to resolve the contention introduced by the requirement that Steam libraries can only be shared in their entirety and to one person at a time. It's clearly not the intended usage, but I'm not clear about whether it's legally or morally wrong or even just impractical. To do this, I would create one account for each game purchase. Steam will let me use the same email address for multiple accounts, but wildcards like Gmail +-addresses would also work. I can then use these accounts to family share each game to 5 different accounts. I would not be sharing my password, but either logging in physically or using a remote desktop connection. Does Valve care to stop this? Is it against the terms and conditions? Is there a limit to the number of accounts shared to a given user or machine? A limit to the number of accounts by IP? What are the pain points here beyond the initial setup and sharing? |

Can you give me your advises for a model? I'm playing Titan Quest, Age of Empires/Mythology, Will Rock, Serious Sam, Call of Duty etc. games of 90s-00s. My requirements: C2D (not I3-I5), 17 inches display, discrete video (ATI or nVidia), DVD rom and up to 8 GB Ram. At this moment the only model I found is Alienware m17x, but this laptop is rare on ebay. |
| Cannot Connect To External Minecraft Bedrock Server Posted: 29 Dec 2021 03:38 PM PST I have been trying to setup a Minecraft Bedrock server on Windows, however its not working. The server is setup on a Windows Desktop, and I'm trying to connect from a iPad Mini (The docs say that this is possible). The only time I can connect is when both are on the same network, and it only appears under "Friends", I have a eero network setup, and I have port forwarded port 1932 on both my main network and the eero. bedrock_server.exe is allowed though the Windows Firewall for both "Public" and "Private". It gives the follow messages on startup: I used the IPv4 address (IPv6 is not supported on my eero) from whatismyipaddress.com and the server port 19132 to connect to the server from my iPad. Port Forwarding on my main router: Thanks in advance EDIT: canyouseeme.org also reports that the post is closed with the error "Connection timed out". I don't know why this is happening, everything looks correct from my end. EDIT2: I do not have MC installed on the host machine I can load the world from my iPad if its on the same network and the local IP is used. EDIT3: MC on my iPad now finds it (And shows the "Current Ping" as 14), however it still returns the "Unable to connect to world" error. The port checker still shows the port as closed. | Is there a way to leave a ranked game without being punished? Posted: 29 Dec 2021 08:50 AM PST I was playing a ranked game in League of Legends and 3 out of my 4 allies were trolling. For example the ACD came mid and was just standing there taking up XP but not doing anything. One of the worst parts was that our team would not surrender and the other team would not end the game, meaning they were just killing us over and over so I was stuck in an endless game. So I was wondering if there was a way I could leave and not be punished, as leaving a ranked game has consequences. |
| Effective Path Finding Mob Farm Posted: 29 Dec 2021 10:33 AM PST So I was making a path finding mob farm, but I'm confused which design is more effective to use (see picture):
I felt like mobs frequently spawn on the second design, but I'm afraid they aren't going to walk into the water stream, instead they are going to walk to the place far from the water stream (The missing part from the first design), but still I don't know if this is correct or not. So any thoughts? |

When I try to join, I get a message saying that I cannot do this owing to Parental Controls. I have never set up Parental Controls on my Xbox, and there are no 'Family' settings pertaining to me. Posted: 29 Dec 2021 07:17 PM PST When you sell a Wanderer's Journals, Hallownest Seal, etc; it is removed from your inventory as if you never had it. But given that there are a finite number of these items to find in the world; I would want to make sure I find them all as part of my playthrough. Is there any place in the game that tells you how many you have found, or how many you have left to find? Or do you just have to make sure you remember how many you have sold so far? |

Posted: 30 Dec 2021 12:02 AM PST I bought a region free key from Kinguin, but after activating it, I see it ends with "(RU)", after the game name. Does it means it's region locked for Russia? May I get banned on Steam for only activating without playing? What if I remove this game permanently from my library? The seller keeps saying it's a region free key, but then why would it shows "RU"?

| PS4 remote wont connect to PS4 after being connected to IPad while ps4 has error message Posted: 29 Dec 2021 12:06 PM PST I have been playing ps4 through my iPad, with the remote connected via Bluetooth to the iPad. Just recently the ps4 crashed and when it restarted, there is an error message which give you an option to report to sony. I cannot press this with the remote since the remote connects through my iPad app and the iPad app needs the ps4 to be on and connected (not in the error message mode it turns to). I tried to connect the controller via the options and ps button, I tried with the wire, I tried disconnecting from iPad and forgetting device from it as well, nothing is working. I cant even go to safe mode since I cant use the controller. I have 2nd controller and that one doesn't connect through wire either. |
| I recently bought a new controller for my PS3 and it's not working Posted: 29 Dec 2021 08:05 PM PST As I said in the title I bought a new controller for my PS3 because the original one broke down. The new controller is a Marvo GT-018 and is compatible with PS3/PC/Android. The things is it worked really well the first time I tried it but today when I hopped on to play some games it wouldn't connect. I've tried to unplug the PS3 , factory reset the PS3 , even tried to plug it in my PC but nothing worked. The PC would say there's a driver error but I couldn't fix that either. There's no tutorial, forum regarding my problem with the PS3. Note: I can't reset the controller because it doesn't have that small hole in the back and also the controller's "turbo" buttons (which lights up the interior of the controller) is working so I'm sure it's not the controller being broken. I also tried a different PS3 (a slim one mine being fat) and it didn't work either, it showed the player 1 light but the buttons wouldn't work |

When playing 4x games, I only ever play the faction which has an advantage in knowledge - which got me to thinking and asking this question For a decade or so, I used boreholes extensively and was always overrun by mindworms. Now I still use them, but then remove them as I develop other energy sources. One thing I have never done, in twenty years, is to plant a single square of fungus. I felt that doing so might be of benefit to the Gaian faction, but have never played that faction. Would planting fungus help other factions? If so, how? Wouldn't doing this just spawn more mindworms? |

I'm trying to use /replaceitem to get the players their kits, but I have a few problems. I'm trying to get a leather tunic on the user which is dyed, named "Brute's Body", and enchanted. This is what I've tried: When I try this, it says it replaced that slot with "leather chestplate" but then it doesn't. Does anyone know how to fix this? |

| Can't See Minecraft Launcher Output on New Launcher Posted: 29 Dec 2021 09:03 PM PST I've already tried to ask this question on reddit, at r/minecraft, but unfortunately, no one replied. I have a small problem with my Minecraft launcher (version 2.0.832). Whenever I try to play Minecraft, it opens and plays fine, but the "Minecraft game output" window becomes blank and no text is ever displayed in it. There is just a drop-down menu in the top-left saying "100" and a search bar to the right saying "Filter text." The problem is, I need to see the game output (for my own reasons). Here's a screenshot of my problem:

| Posted: 29 Dec 2021 10:33 AM PST Some time ago it was very easy to copy steam game files. start the download, close steam and copy the files to steam/steamapps/common/. But now this folder wont appear until the download has finished. It is in steam/steamapps/downloading/. Coping the files there wont solve the problem, because steam saves the progress in steam/steamapps/downloading/state__.patch files, which are not editable with a usual editor like gedit, MS editor or MS wordpad. Is there a workaround? I want to copy the program files, not the progress in a game. |
