Moving from gaming on PC PSNOW streaming to PS5 physical console: is still worth to buy games you can have almost free?

I have just bought the console ps5 while before i was playing only on pc streaming via PSNOW. I had started to play red dead redemption and streetfighter on pc and now want to play them on console. I have two related questions:

  1. Should i now subscribe PSPLUS only and buy the games i like as discs, cancelling PSNOW? In this case how i move the progression from PSNOW to the console? Or is maybe all already in the cloud?

  2. I wonder if is actually convenient to buy a 50 pounds game i can play it (together with hundreds of other games) on streaming for free? Maybe is better to keep PSNOW only and play those games on the console whitout buying the physical disc?

Can the SSV Normandy SR-1 frigate get damaged in any way?

When compared to other available frigates in the game, the SSV Normandy SR-1 lacks a landing pad, meaning that the player can't board it like the regular support / explorer / combat / trade / industrial models.

The Normandy seems to also lack a captain - when the player debriefs the SR-1 during an expedition, there is no captain hologram (probably because it wouldn't make sense for the SR-1 to have a Gek / Korvax / Vy'keen crew) and the only feedback seems to come from an A.I. voice.

Regular frigates can be damaged during missions. In that case the player is usually contacted on their starship communicator. Afterward, manual maintenance has to be performed, and this requires the player to land on the frigate and do the required repairs.

The fact that the player can't land on the Normandy seems to indicate that the player wouldn't be able to perform any repair operation should it get damaged. The game doesn't mentions this directly at anytime, but does this mean that the SSV Normandy SR-1 has the hidden perk of being unable to get damaged at all?

NOTICE: Erik pointed out in the comments that the "Times damaged" stats reports "1" in the screen. While it is true that the stat does indeed increase any time a frigate is repaired, frigates seem to start with random numbers on that stat (as in, the initial value is also proceduraly generated). The Normandy specifically starts with "1", so the screen doesn't seem to indicate it was repaired "in game". More probably, the "one time damaged" stat is a somehow hidden reference to the fact that the original SR1 should be crashed. At least... in Mass Effect.

Why shouldn't a Vita Game Card be used or stored in a vehicle with the windows closed? (as specified in the manual)

Found this interesting part in the Digital Manual of Gravity Rush:

Do not use or store the game card in the following locations or under the following conditions:

  • In a car with the windows closed (particularly in summer)...

It doesn't makes sense to me why you shouldn't use the game card in a vehicle with the windows closed. The other ones make sense like in direct sunlight/heat sources (deforms plastic) and high humidity/corrosive environments (causes corrosion), but specifically using or storing it inside of a vehicle does not.

Why shouldn't a Vita Game Card be used or stored in a vehicle with the windows closed?

Minecraft Server Port Not Working

I was making a Minecraft server even though I already have one on the same IP and decided change the port as to allow people do join the different servers though when I put the IP in the IP bar in Minecraft (example.ip.example.ip:PORT) it would connect to server and give me an error message. I was wondering if you guys could help me figure out why it wont work and how to run these servers on the same IP. I have already port forwarded the second IP.

Can you get regular achievements in Wesker mode?

I finished the game once and unlocked "Wesker mode". There are some achievements, that are associated with this mode (like Welcome to team Wesker), so I'm about to start it, but I'm not sure if I can get regular achievements (like "no mixing herbs" and "no healing spray use") there as well.

Can I get all the regular achievements in Wesker mode? If not, which ones are completable there?

Corrupted Digital Games

Alright so my Red Dead Redemption 2 game is corrupted on my PS4 and I only have it in digital. I do not have access to the account that originally bought it so I don't know what to do. If I upload my data to Playstation Plus cloud and delete the game, can I install it again from Plus? Same thing with a USB stick. Please let me know.

Is it possible to give other players the ability to use my powertools?

Can I give other players the use of my powertools with the EssentialsX plugin for Bukkit? Not the ability to use the /powertool command, but the usage of my premade powertools.

Example: I make a fireball staff and the players cannot use /powertool themselves, but have to buy my powertools such as the fireball staff.

Can someone recognize this FPS from a sceenshot?

noob here... i started a server with some friends but idk how redstone function and how it can implicate on lagging the server, i builded a pumpkin and melon farm with observers and pistons and it's kinda ok but its the only farm so i'm scared of thinking the base area will handle being constantly loaded and BOOM server crashed no one can open it ever again...

the question: i'm confused about rendering and lagging, should i build farms far away from my base and spend some minutes afking in the chunk to farm? if yes, should i build them in different areas to prevent stacking too much in few chunks? how many chunks far away from constantly loaded chunks?? and witch mechanics create lag? i know about to many hoppers and entities like minecarts are better to avoid

Can't connect to my own minecraft server

for more context it's a 1.12.2 modded forge server running on my own pc, other people are able to join but when I try to connect it returns the error "io.netty.channel.abstractchannel$annotatedconnectexception connection refused no further information." I'm also unable to port forward due to me not being able to access router settings so I'm port forwarding it with Utorrent. As for things I've tried: -restarting my pc -restarting my internet (I haven't tried resetting the router yet) -redownloading minecraft -recreating the server -updating java

As a post note, the server is running perfectly fine and the problem my connection to the server

I'm making a map and a resource pack for it. I want to make a Zombie with a 3D model on his head, and I think I can change the player_head.json, but I don't find the original .json model in the resource pack. Can anyone help me find the path of it?

How can I stop dying SO FAST after running into someone decent in Fortnite?

So I like to play fortnite, and while neither me nor my hardware is too good, I still find it a fun way to connect with my friends, even though i am trash at the game playing on a 25 dollar nintendo switch controller and a crappy monitor, but I also like to play arena, and the thing is, whenever I run into somebody I just die SO FAST! I hear somebody in a building. I crouch over by the door, they jump out behind me, and I can't even turn around to get a shot off before I'm dead. I think I might be able to hold my own to some extent if I can stay alive for more than 2 seconds after shots are fired at me. Any advice?

Is there a Minecraft mod that acts like an autoclicker that works even when I switch to a different window?

Normally, when I need to use an autoclicker to do things in Minecraft, I have to keep the Minecraft window open, and I can't switch over to a different window to do something else. Is there a Minecraft mod or some other application that keeps clicking for me in Minecraft 1.16.5 even when I switch to a different window?

My PS4 controller is connected to my PC with Bluetooth. The controller works with some games that I downloaded on Steam: when I turn it on the controller has a blue light and allows me to play as much as I want.

However, I downloaded a game off of a website and my controller only seems to work when it is plugged in with a USB cable. I've tried countless times to pair my controller via Bluetooth but while it says the controller is connected, the controller doesn't stay on for more than 5 seconds before automatically turning off again.

How do I keep my PS4 controller connected wirelessly? I'm using an Alienware Aurora gaming PC.

Second Nether portal links back to original portal location in the Overworld

I built a Nether portal in a village and one near spawn. The portals are about 5k blocks apart from each other. But if I go through to village portal, it takes me back to the main spawn portal instead of creating another one in the nether.

I understand how portal linking works, I calculated the distance, and instead of the portal taking me into the exact same spot in the Overworld that I calculated, it just takes me back to the spawn portal.

This server has no plugins. Would a plugin solve this? Or is there another way I can get this to work?

How do I use a target selector to output the nearest player's UUID?

I want to be able to use a target selector to select all of a player's tamed wolves. It's easy to do that with this target selector:

@e[type=wolf,nbt={"OwnerUUID":"<Player UUID>"}]

When I try to use the JSON selector string to specify the UUID like this:

@e[type=wolf,nbt={"OwnerUUID":{"selector":"@p"}}]

the selector string returns the nearest player's name. The OwnerUUID data value of the wolf obviously requires a UUID. Is there a potential workaround for this?

sometimes dinosaurs appear when they enter my radius (I enter their radius actually) and my phone vibrates to alert me,

sometimes dinosaurs are visible in the distance and I can travel to them but get no vibration alert when they enter my radius

How to disable HUD transparency in Half-Life?

UI doesn't scale based on resolution and HUD is relatively small already in 1920 x 1080 (let alone in 4K), and crosshair in particular is difficult to see.

Having non-transparent HUD would help playing at high resolutions. How can I disable HUD transparency?

Every copy of Lego Dimensions comes with a USB Gateway Portal for scanning characters, vehicles, and level packs into the game.

Can these gateway portals be used across different consoles?

For example, if I own the Wii U version of Lego Dimensions, will I need to buy another portal specifically for the PS3 version? Or can I reuse my old one?

I'm running Pokemon Fire Red on an Android phone using "My Boy!" emulator. Is it possible to get a shiny starter pokemon (Charmander) by reseting the game everytime I choose the starter pokemon? (I saved the game right before chosing it).

I made this question because I read on the Internet that it's not possible to get a shiny starer pokemon by reseting the game if you're using an emulator, because the interal code that determines whether if a pokemon is shiny or not does never reset.

How can I move massive buildings in-game in Minecraft?

Is there some way to move a massive building from underwater to above water in Minecraft? I suspect the answer is pistons, but how would I push the building more than one block? And would the water blocks covering the building stay on top of if after the building is out of water? How would I stop it after it is at surface level?

This will be on a private server, where I am admin. Bukkit will be used, in case someone knows a plugin to do this.

I'm a happy Minecraft player. I place my blocks, mine my coal, and generally nobody gets hurt. Lately though, those mean creepers have been sneaking up on me from behind, and killing me. Why? Because my framerate is so darn low.

Adjusting the graphics option (Fancy to Fast) and the render distance help, but they are not enough. I have seen mention of outside optimizations and programs that people have made/used. What hacks, tricks, and mean mods can I use to improve my Minecraft FPS?
