I know the answer is probably not, and I'm gonna have to go with the only choice shown. thanks!  |
| Was Epic Games expected to give 2 free games today? Posted: 27 May 2021 06:29 PM PDT On polygon, when they announced that Among Us was the next free game, they said this. "Over the next week, players can pick up the impostor-hunting multiplayer game and another free mystery game that Epic will unveil later on Thursday, at 6:30 p.m. EDT". I haven't seen another free game, did polygon mean next thursday? Was Epic games expected to give another one away today?  |

| Why does steam forget my birthdate? [duplicate] Posted: 27 May 2021 03:58 PM PDT Whenever I visit a store page for an M-rated game, I am prompted with a warning asking my date-of-birth, to prove I'm old enough for the game. I understand this. What I don't understand is why it partially forgets my birthdate. It seems to remember the day and the year correctly, but not the month. What's going on here? I am aware of this question which seems similar at first glance, but is not. I understand why steam has to ask me my birthdate every time, but I don't understand why it only partially remembers my birthdate. It gets the day and year correct, but the month always defaults to January.  |
| Is it better to use an axe or sword in Minecraft? Posted: 27 May 2021 09:59 AM PDT I've recently started playing Minecraft, and I have been trying out some of the netherite tools, and I noticed that the axe does more damage, but it's slower than the sword. Does the axe get better in the long run, or why is the sword faster, and can it outclass the axe? Is there a reason why I see a lot of popular Minecraft YouTubers like Dream use axes in these places? It does seem unusual. I also saw a video by Technoblade saying that it would be more useful to use a sword, but I'm not exactly sure. Does the math add up, or is it a scam, and do people need to switch weapons? What weapon should I use?  |
| How To Make My Custom Flower And Mobs Spawn In? (Bedrock Minecraft) Posted: 27 May 2021 01:31 PM PDT So I am using this free addon maker (it is pretty bad) and I am trying to my flower and custom mobs spawn in. However, as far as I travel, I never see one. Please note my addon creator only allows the block to spawn on one type of block using the block filter, which won't work. Edit: I slightly increased the weight, and now they spawn in too much. I want them to be pretty rare but not like 0.01% chance rare. According to this site, https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Spawn , mobs like cows have a 8 weight of spawn. My rarest entity has 1 weight. If somebody could just tell me a good weight, that's all I need. Edit: Bounty expiring soon! Answer fast!  |

So I went in to the file persistent.sts and change State=Dead to State=Available it but did not work... More information: persistent.sts was not persistent.sts but was persistent(2021_05_19_19_02_21).sts, does this matter?  |
| Where is the cut-off point for the Dragon's Homecoming Ending? Posted: 27 May 2021 08:02 AM PDT The Dragon's Homecoming Ending is the most convoluted of all the Sekiro Endings, requiring multiple interactions with all characters, to get specific items in a particular order, so that you have everything you need for the choice after the final boss battle. The part I'm having trouble with is keeping track of when the cut-off points are for the interactions with Kuro (eavesdropping) and Emma to track down the appropriate information in order to gain access to the Frozen Tears item. For example, in my current playthrough I have completed the Sacred Realm area (Fountainhead Palace, and defeated the Sakura Dragon), I have all the Shinobi tools (though not all upgraded), I have received the rice balls from Kuro, but I have not done anything to gain access to the "investigation" with Emma, or eavesdropped on Kuro yet. What is the trigger/point of no return for this side-quest to achieve this ending?  |
| Fallout 4 - Materials not being shared Posted: 27 May 2021 01:01 PM PDT I have the Local Leader perk installed and have been enjoying building up settlements all over the Commonwealth & the Island, sharing the resources though supply lines. Recently I noticed though that some of my settlements are not actually sharing materials. For example, I have 2 shipments of concrete in the workbench at Sanctuary, which is connected to all settlements:
But I am unable to build anything with concrete at Longfellow's Cabin & Dalton's Farm (both on the Island). I thought at somepoint that both these Island settlements were connected to the rest of the grid but it appears they are not. I just started building up Longfellow's Cabin, and assigned him to the Supply Line duty, but it appears there is no concrete shipment avaialable (I actually cant build anything out of concrete). So my questions are:

| How to get past a locked door in Fort Hagen Command Center? Posted: 27 May 2021 04:30 PM PDT I'm playing through Fallout 4 again, and I've come across a bug in the game that's preventing me from proceeding. While playing the quest "Reunions", I fought my way through Fort Hagen, all the way down to just before the boss fight with Kellogg. Just before I engaged him, I went back to Sanctuary to drop some stuff, rest up, and grab some gear. Now that I've returned, there is a locked gate just as you enter the Fort Hagen Command Center, down the hall to the right. The gate was open before, and there are dead synths all over from the last time I was there, but there is no way to open this gate now. It's not controlled by a terminal or anything like that. In fact, I'm not sure I had to do anything special to open it before that I remember. How do I get past this so I can fight Kellogg and complete the quest?  |

Other opponents' tiles do appear. Why is this? Would actually prefer if the former were the case for all. Is this possible?  |
| How can I collect the NeoGate tech point? Posted: 27 May 2021 11:04 AM PDT I am trying to get the tech point located in a vent at the NeoGate building just north east of Angel tube station in the north eastern part of the map.
It's located near a vent grate, but I do not get a prompt to pick it up. As usually there is a prompt to press y button to collect it.
Is this tech point bugged? How can I reset the buildings state in order to try again?  |
| How can I raise only my men-at-arms? Posted: 27 May 2021 03:30 PM PDT Now that I'm getting closer to forming an empire in my first CK3 campaign, I've noticed that I tend to have more levies than I really need for most wars. Raising them all takes time, keeping them raised costs money, they tend to cause unnecessary attrition and they're not even that good in battles. My knights and men-at-arms just seem more cost-effective. But there doesn't seem to be any button in the interface for only raising them. I know I can raise all my troops, wait for them to assemble, and then split the army manually and dismiss the half with all the levies in it. But that's really slow and awkward, and dismissing the levies incurs an additional (though minor) time penalty before I can raise them again, should I decide that I need them after all. I can't believe that's the best or only way. Is there some way to tell CK3 to only raise your knights and men-at-arms? (And possibly a small amount of levies to serve as meat shields?) Bonus points for an easy way to choose which men-at-arms to raise — if my enemy has nothing but light footmen and no spearmen, I might as well not raise my token heavies since they'll just get countered. And sometimes all I want is my siege units.  |
| Minecraft won't open, crashes as soon as I launch it with an Ubuntu VM Posted: 28 May 2021 12:06 AM PDT I am trying to load minecraft 1.8.8 on an Ubuntu virtual machine, however everytime I load it it immediately crashes, doesn't give me a crash report or anything, it just says 'Exit code: 0'. I am giving it 2 GB of ram, and people are saying that should be enough so I am really not sure what's wrong. My JVM arguments: My Ubuntu version: 20.04.1  |
| Can I transfer my Nintendo Switch Account to a new owner? Posted: 27 May 2021 10:14 AM PDT I am selling my Nintendo Switch soon. I see that I can change my email on my account. I know that digital games brought through my switch account is linked to my account and my device. However, I am wondering if I can just change my email on my Nintendo account to the new owner and change the password to the new owner? I don't have any payment options linked to my account or device, and I know the new owner well enough to trust them. So could this work for when I sell my device? I do not have any other Switches or Nintendo products, so I don't care about my Nintendo account, I would just basically give it to the new owner. Has anybody tried this?  |

| Help identifying this Pokemon-like character Posted: 27 May 2021 04:10 PM PDT I received a mixed bag of Pokemon figurines with varying degrees of accuracy with regards to their colour and appendages. All but one of them I have been able to identify, and my conclusion is that while it looks like a pokemon, I don't think it is.
Is someone able to identify the character? As it was in a mixed bag of Pokemon characters, I figure the chances are that the factory produced characters from a number of game franchises, and this one got mixed in. I'm also open to the fact that it might be a Pokemon and I have a gap in my knowledge. Here's an example of the pokemon figurines received at the same time, in which this mystery figure was found:

| How to reduce Roblox lag on a possibly Potato PC Posted: 27 May 2021 07:37 AM PDT I'm looking for ways to further reduce/remove lag from my possibly potato PC. I did reduce most of the quality settings from the Roblox studio, and only plays games on lowest possible settings. But, at 9am in Korea, it runs at 100~200 pings, and during the evening it jumps to 2000~3000 pings. Is there a way to fix this morning and evening gap of lag? As only in the evening am I able to play, and having literal 5 second delay disables gameplay whatsoever. This wouldn't matter so much if it was mostly things like Obbies, but this is for Rogue Lineage, a game where timing and quick response is key. Is there a way I can further reduce lag on my PC? And please keep the "upgrade your PC" opinion to the minimum, as it is not a very viable option for me. My PC specs are:

Posted: 28 May 2021 03:52 AM PDT Currently on Chapter 4, and while exploring around some of the abandoned houses in the West End, I found a house broken open with blood stains everywhere. On walking in, my character remarked on the blood, and a quest called "Like Father, Like Daughter" was added to my log with an accompanying 'citizen in peril' (the head with an exclamation point) icon on my map in a very out-of-the-way location - the kind that means you need to save them tonight or they're gone for good. Looking it up, it seems the character is Louise Teasdale and she's trapped in the sewers. I really want to rescue her, but all the game guides seem to suggest I should be exploring the sewers during Chapter 5 and first encountering her then. This leaves me with two questions: A) can I explore the West End sewers now and rescue her in Chapter 4? and B) if I can't, will progressing the game until chapter 5 without manually resting count as going to a new night (and cause her death), or can I make it to Chapter 5 and rescue her then?  |

| How come Cobalion and Virizion won't spawn in Omega Ruby? Posted: 27 May 2021 01:29 PM PDT I have completed the game and I have 4 legendaries to catch. These were Cresselia and the 3 deer trio, which are Terrakion, Cobalion, and Virizion. I have 3 Pokemon with max EV and I caught Terrakion on a Tuesday. A day later when I went back to the portal to them, which was when Cobalion was meant to be there, nothing happened. I waited a day later and still, nothing happened. It just keeps saying that "a mysterious ring is floating in the air." Please help, because I really want to catch Cobalion and Virizion and it isn't working!  |

Posted: 27 May 2021 02:37 PM PDT In an attempt to get a captain promoted to warchief I tried to get myself killed by an elite captain (the last row before the warchiefs), as a comment to this answer suggests. However, when I was beaten, the captain simply walked away saying something about me not being worthy enough for him (if I remember correctly). At first I thought I made it too easy by not fighting back at all, but I tried it with another elite captain and the first one a second time, hitting them a few times and reducing their health bar before getting killed. But again, both just walked away from the fight and "teleported" to another area. The elite captain I fought twice only said something like "how does it feel being beaten a second time?" and walked away. When time passes and the changes are shown in Sauron's army, they also don't get a power increase for defeating me. Why do they decide to let me live? Is this to prevent them from being promoted to warchief?  |
