| Are Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl using controller vibrations? Posted: 19 Nov 2021 05:10 AM PST I like to play handheld with Split Pad controllers because size does matter, but they lack vibrations and gyroscope. Game informed me that motion controls will be used somewhere in game, but it can be disabled in options so its probably optional. Will I miss some features without vibrations/hd-rumble? |

Posted: 19 Nov 2021 05:10 AM PST Somehow I never played Diamond/Pearl so I am trying to avoid spoilers, which means trying to figure it out on release day from google results filled with lets-plays is problematic. In map there is Location Info view, which seems to highlight locations based on... something. Filters are:
Build in Guidebook of course contains no information for that feature, and no NPC said anything yet. So... what's those filters for?

| Detecting if a player is in a storage GUI Posted: 18 Nov 2021 08:40 PM PST I'm building a game in Bedrock Edition and can't figure this out. I need it so that when a player takes blocks out from a storage block and puts them into their hand while still in the storage GUI, the block they're standing on is /filled with the specific block they took out. I also need the blocks to be cleared from their inventory once they get out of the GUI. How can I do this with commands? |

In my device settings, I can go into my app settings, and switch on "Allow background activity", as well as an option to "Optimize battery usage". If I turn off "Optimize battery usage", will the setting "Allow background activity" allow Pokémon Go's "Adventure Sync" to work properly? |

He bought a Super Smash Bros Ultimate DLC that I want to buy. I am able to buy it, but I'm concerned that if I buy it, it will mess something up. |
| Can't use my custom skins in Minecraft Posted: 18 Nov 2021 09:54 PM PST After the PS3 edition ended, a year afterwards I got Minecraft Java edition on PC on the day the 1.17 update came out. I had custom skins I can use for my Minecraft but when I started the game it just showed up as Steve and it's been doing that ever since the day I got the game, also I can't join any servers or play multiplayer(which is the same thing). I allowed firewall and I still can't play on any servers. I've tried looking through the internet to see if I could solve this problem but nothing, now my computer is a tad bit outdated and I know it's not my game because I played it on my laptop (skins work and I assume servers too). I don't know if this has been solved. but I would appreciate if someone can answer. |

| Minecraft Data pack bug, mobs are just floating items Posted: 18 Nov 2021 05:01 PM PST I play on a Mac, I'm not sure if that matters since it worked every time up to this point. This is what's wrong, for example. I have installed a random datapack, a snow golem with a melon head instead of a pumpkin head. But if I install the data pack and make a melon golem, the head is instead of a melon block a item melon piece.
The same is with every other Datapack mob, for example, a copper golem Datapack (a vote mob from Minecraft live 2021). If I spawn a copper golem from the pack, it's just a floating walking copper ingot, as a item. Just a floating walking item, the same in every other datapack mob, just one or multiple floating walking items, random items. This annoys me very much and I don't know what to do. The datapacks don't come from the same person or download site. It's just every mob from datapacks. Can anyone please help me with this problem? I have some photo's for more details. Can you please help me? |
| Can you get your fully filled map back if you lose it? Posted: 18 Nov 2021 01:53 PM PST I spent around one to two hours on a survival server trying to fill in a map (this is early game so I don't have an elytra yet). I had just finished when I had a sudden urge to kill an enderman. I died and all of my stuff despawned before I managed to get it back. Is there any way to get back the progress from the previous map without filling it in again by walking around? The server is on Java but supports Bedrock, which is what I am playing on. |
| Is it better to use an axe or sword in Minecraft? Posted: 18 Nov 2021 03:27 PM PST I've recently started playing Minecraft, and I have been trying out some of the netherite tools, and I noticed that the axe does more damage, but it's slower than the sword. Does the axe get better in the long run, or why is the sword faster, and can it outclass the axe? Is there a reason why I see a lot of popular Minecraft YouTubers like Dream use axes in these places? It does seem unusual. I also saw a video by Technoblade saying that it would be more useful to use a sword, but I'm not exactly sure. Does the math add up, or is it a scam, and do people need to switch weapons? What weapon should I use? |
| My 1.16.5 Minecraft Server won't save player data but saves world data Posted: 18 Nov 2021 11:03 PM PST I have a minecraft server and just recently installed plugins, everything worked fine. Then I decided to edit some prices for my shop. I reloaded a plugin, the server restarted and I noticed I was in a different spot. I tried putting an item in a chest, logged out, then had the item still in my inventory, but it was also in the chest. I broke a potato plant, had the potato in my inventory and didn't replant, logged out, then logged in an the potato was not in my inventory and the potato plant was still broken. | Tracking Kills/Deaths in Minecraft Bedrock Posted: 18 Nov 2021 08:02 PM PST Since Bedrock only has dummy scoreboards, I'm trying to use command blocks to update the scoreboard. Is there a way to use /testfor or another command to look for stats like Death? are stats even recorded in bedrock? Has anyone come up with a good way to track kills and/or deaths on bedrock without using TP or spawn points? |
| Posted: 19 Nov 2021 01:05 AM PST I'm trying to make a portal hub to head N,S,E,W directions and a portal back again from each point back to world spawn near the hub. My first portal keeps teleporting and I cant get near it without Annoyingly this is exactly as I've copied from online and works fine for them. |
| Lion Hunter Achievement Minecraft 1.14.3 (current Xbox One release) Cannot Feed Ocelot Posted: 18 Nov 2021 09:04 AM PST I have a big problem, ocelots don't come to me while I hold any raw fish while I crouch or stand. They aren't scared, they don't scurrying away from me. When I hold the raw fish sometimes the ocelot will stand still, look at me for a few seconds then walk off. I can't feed them or anything, but I noticed they still had a hit box as I couldn't eat while trying to feed them. I tried reloading my save and then the game all together, nothing. I also tried restarting my Xbox to no avail. I'm trying for the 'Lion Hunter Achievement' on Xbox one 1.14.3, is there anything I need to know, is this a bug or intended as I can't get my achievement. Seems really weird, like a bug. Also cakes won't work and I just get buckets back lol. |
| Skyrim NPCs are attacking me for no reason Posted: 18 Nov 2021 03:23 PM PST I need to go to Riverwood for a quest but every time I show up the NPCs start wildly attacking me (including ones with the little icon over them indicating they need to be interacted with). I don't know what to do. Please advise. I am on PS4 and not using mods, if that helps. |

| Where is Minecraft Bedrock Edition folder? [duplicate] Posted: 19 Nov 2021 04:16 AM PST Having the same problem as many others seem to be having on here, but I'm stuck at a point at which everyone else seems to find what they are looking for. Trying to install forge for Minecraft but as every guide says I've to make copies of all the game files which I'm trying to do but there is no Minecraft folder when I go looking. I've tried the I had a thought, is it because my kids who play Minecraft don't play online, as they don't have an Xbox live account to sign-in to create saves from? Are they effectively playing as "guests"? If so, is the only way to fix this to get them Xbox live subscriptions? Its the Windows 10 edition (aka Bedrock edition) we have, is it better to try and use the Java Edition? |

| How can I fix a stair to its shape? Posted: 18 Nov 2021 02:06 PM PST I am trying to build an arch roof using stairs and in doing so I need stairs to get a fixed stair shape. Here are some pictures to clarify: Two stairs together can form a corner stair:
However when the adjoining stair is removed, the corner stair reverts to a single stair shape:
As you can see, the stair isn't fix as a corner stair. How can I do that? |
