How to play my own Bedrock Server on PlayStation without PS plus

I have a Minecraft Bedrock Server running on a spare computer that sits in my living room connected to my local network.

I can see the server in LAN games on my PS4 but cannot connect as it asks me to purchase PS Plus subscription.

Is there any workaround?

How to save teleport location

I want to be able to teleport a player to a set location, and then back to the spot they were at, sort of like a /back command? I want to teleport everyone to an event area in the Nether, and then back to where they were so they can continue playing without interruption to location. All I've got so far is that I'd need to use either entities to teleport to or scoreboards to save location as a score, but I'm a bit slow and honestly just have no clue how either works and how to do it.

Is there any way to get the default Minecraft texture on mobile?

I'm making my own textures for fun, but I ran into a problem straight away, I couldn't get the textures. I've tried downloading them, finding them in the Minecraft folders, finding answers online, and I still can't find them. Any solutions?

Roblox for Linux not working

I know that Roblox is made for Windows, but I didn't want to spend time installing it on my PC that already runs Linux perfectly fine. I did some research and found that I needed to install something called Grapevine (for Wine) to run Roblox. It's installed and everything, but I still can't play.

If I try to launch from the browser, it just throws the "You're almost ready to play, install Roblox here" junk.

If I launch the installed app, it loads, but when I try to log in, it tells me "an unexpected error occurred, try again later."

What did I do wrong?

Note: I don't currently have access to my PC right now, so I can't provide any commands, files, or computer specifications; I also don't remember the site I visited to install Grapevine.

What is the use of making dinosaurs poop in Ark?

I'm kinda new to Ark, and exploring the (awkward) menus I've discovered that it's possible to force a tamed animal/dinosaur to poop. Why?

Is there any actual advantage for doing this? Or is this just an easy way to collect poop for the composter?

I started playing Minecraft Bedrock again after some while, because I stopped playing because of the narrator thing. The chest or crafting box or something moreover has so many questions on Arqade about potions, or codes with hacks/mods. To start off of my many questions about Minecraft, I want to know how the craft box works and how I can brew potions with it.

I see some answers with codes included, but I don't know if it's for the mod specifically, or the game itself. If so, how can I insert the code into the craft box?

A accepted answer would have details about the items that you would use, so make an example potion with items. Show the picture of the potion, such as invisibility. It will have the answer to if the code is meant for mods or not in the beginning, then add a line spacer, getting to the point. The last thing it should include is recommended ways to do this quickly.

How to turn on sound captions in Minecraft Bedrock?

I play on Minecraft Bedrock Edition, and for my own convenience, I wanted to turn on sound captions so I could play on low volume while not missing any important information. I looked it up, and it said that the option to turn it on should be in either "Music and Sounds" or "Accessibility", but I couldn't seem to find it in either.

Are sound captions simply non-existent in this edition, or is there some way I can turn them on? I know for a fact that it is in Java, but I can't seem to find any info on if it is in Bedrock. I'd like to note that I want to be able to turn them on completely vanilla, no mods or clients.

Is the alpha channel supported in Minecraft tellraw?

So I'm trying to add transparency to Minecraft tellraw so text can be partly transparent, and I'm stuck. I've tried to add it via hex code, in the format #AARRGGBB and the alpha value is completely ignored. I know it is supported in someway since I can use translucent images in unicode, I just don't know how to add it without using unicode. Is there a way to add it in the color value? Does Minecraft have a different value for alpha values? Or is this not possible? A solution without using unicode is what I need.

Problem with RequiredPlayerRange on spawners

This is on the latest Minecraft version, 1.16.4

I have been trying to figure out how to get it to work with NBTEexplorer. I changed the RequiredPlayerRange to higher then default amount which was 16 now its 40, yet whenever i save it and just restart my game to see if the changes applied it still defaults back to its original range yet still says 40 in the NBTExplorer.

went to ahead and checked on the official wiki of minecraft to find i had to change MaxNearbyEntities aswell though unsure what to so i changed it to the same value, still nothing

found a command that might work?

/data merge block -1537 39 771 {RequiredPlayerRange: 30}

standing above the spawner and counted 1 block off the Y coordinate

^ this gave me a error: that position is not loaded

Though, no idea what that could mean really

Could someone explain why I am getting this?

As well if you know of a different fix for the problem please tell!

How do I set up Civ 6 on multiple displays?

I have seen videos and posts talking about playing Civ 6 on three monitors, e.g. this Reddit post, pictures from that post, and this YouTube video. But I can't seem to figure out how to make that happen on my equipment. I am on Win 10, Civ 6 Gathering Storm up to date.

My goal is probably even trickier. I am playing on a laptop with two outside monitors. I am hoping to play only on those two plugged in screens, but I guess I am still at the first hurtle: how to set up Civ 6 for multi-screen.

Nvidia Quadro FX 1700 graphics card rejected by latest WoW update - suggestions please?

After downloading the latest WoW update, we got the unpleasant surprise that our Nvidia Quadro FX 1700 card is apparently no longer supported. (Everything worked fine until the day before)

3d accelerator card not supported

I tried downloading the original driver from the company, still no go.

I went to a shop looking to buy a newer card, but they told me that most likely my old computer's motherboard would not support the current generation of graphics cards.

After further research, I found that the Nvidia Quadro that I have uses PCI-express 1.0 x16, while modern cards that were for sale in the shop use e.g. PCIe 3.0

Can anyone advise, please?

  1. Does anyone know if it's possible to tweak the system so that WoW can still run with the old Nvidia Quadro FX 1700? (I could be wrong, but it seems to me that the list of old cards still supported by WoW includes models that aren't much better than Quadro FX 1700)

  1. If our almost 10-year-old motherboard supports PCIe 1.0 x16, will it support new (PCIe 3.0) graphics cards too? Or is there probably going to be some compatibility issue?

(I don't have the computer with me, I am advising a non-technical friend, and so right now I can't look inside the computer to see what motherboard it has. But perhaps for some of you experts, the above info contains enough clues for giving some educated advice.)

Another option would be to look for used but more recent cards than the Quadro, which although old would still be supported by WoW. Any advice in that regard?

Copy player's armor and offhand items into a chest

I have tried to copy all items from a player's inventory into a chest in 1.16. I have used this command for the hot bar and the 2 first rows in the inventory:

/data modify block 227 76 77 Items set from entity @a[tag=inbuild,limit=1] Inventory

For the 3rd row I have used these commands:

It works, but now I need to do the same with the armor slots and the second hand but i cant get it to work :( Do I need to do something else to get the armor and the second hand to work, or am I just using the wrong slot IDs? For the armor i use these ids: 100, 101, 102 and 103, and for the second hand i use this -106. I can have missed something else when I did it, but I have done it 3 times and I never got it to work!

Video settings only allow to set it to Low. Are there any config files that I can edit to fully disable anti-aliasing? Since it's Unreal Engine I assume there should be.

Simcity 2013 - Space Center Oil Problem

I have a very annoying problem. I can't send oil to the space center. I don't produce oil. I import Oil to Trade Port and Depot. After filling, I use the use locally option. But nothing happens. Even if I produce oil.

What units do not genuinely "die" in Fire Emblem Fates Conquest regardless of difficulty mode?

I have the impression or assumption that certain units who show up in (future) cinematics in the story can't or won't probably die, and merely "retreat" for plot purposes. Or maybe the game auto fails you for the mission. Does anybody have the definitive list? I'm playing on casual or whatever mode where units wouldn't die anyway, but am curious how this might be handled across difficulty modes.

Batman arkham knight: game stuck at stop Scarecrow from blowing up ACE Chemicals

I am playing Batman arkham knight PC version. I am not able to progress the game beyond the part 5, after rescuing the 4th worker from the ace chemicals. As per the walkthroughs, Upon entering back into the factory area there is supposed to be a cutscene with oracle, after which the wall with ACE chemicals logo is marked and can be broken with the 60mm cannon. But it is not working, I don't see any cutscene with oracle, or the marked wall. does anyone have a patch for this? How do I progress from here?

I've been playing TF2 as a premium player even before Chemistry Sets came out, and I literally haven't found a single one. Are they even rarer than hats, tags, paint, and the works?

Can I bleach or otherwise whiten discolored Wii Classic Controller analog sticks?

Apparently due to finger oils or sunlight or just the flow of time, the joysticks of my Wii Classic Controller have yellowed and look a bit icky, while the rest of the controller (plastic, not rubber) is fine.

Is there any way to whiten the yellowed rubber? Since they're supposed to be white can I simply bleach them a bit or will that harm the rubber somehow? Is there another/better way to whiten the sticks up?

Is there a way to increase the resolution for Diablo II past what the game allows?

I believe that currently Diablo 2 only supports 800x600 resolution (though it may have gone up to 1024x768). Is anyone aware of a hack, mod, etc. which allows for increasing the resolution?

I'm aware that this is probably against the rules for Battle.NET, so before anyone warns me of that know that I don't plan to use it competitively; I play mostly with friends over LAN.
