Will Pillars of Eternity 2 end after the final quest?

Same question than here for Pillar of Eternity but for Pillar of Eternity 2. Can I continue to play after I end the main quest? Do I need to finish the extension (DLC) quests before or can I finish the main quest first then focus on extension (DLC) after?

I'm trying to write a command that gives a player a score of 1 if they are standing on a gold block:

/execute at @a if block ~ ~-2 ~ minecraft:gold_block run scoreboard players set @s gold 1

The problem is that I need the position of the player but also their entity data. How can I achieve this?

Why can't I stop myself from shooting the President?

I've started playing Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown and I'm still pretty early in the game. I'm stuck on Mission 04: Rescue, where you need to discretely fly to a space elevator to assist with the breakout of President Harland.

I've gotten pretty capable at evading the radar signals surrounding the structure, and I seem to be able to protect the president's escape vehicle for most of the mission, but once the escape pilot is killed and President Harland takes over flying the Osprey VTOL I can't seem to avoid shooting him.

Once he's in control of the vehicle, is he accidentally turning off it's identifier and accidentally marking it as a target? It's really hectic when defending and as a new pilot I usually lock on targets and fire without checking too thoroughly. Despite this, I've tried retrying the (thankfully short) mission three times, yet I keep accidentally launching missile at him.

I don't have this friendly fire issue with other allied planes. What's making it so easy to shoot at the President?

When does Pirates of the Enchiridion actually auto-save?

The game informs you that it performs an auto-save when BMO icon pops out. But I've never seen it, and the game doesn't have a manual save feature, as far as I know.

So, how can I know that the game was saved recently?

Injustice 2 will not start on Xbox One

For some reason, Injustice 2 won't start. I bought it on a disc and tried everything to fix it or make it start, but it crashes before it even reaches the start screen. How can I fix this or is this a bug?

Is it normal that my .minecraft folder takes up a large amount of disk space?

I wanted to backup my .minecraft folder. When I pressed Alt + Enter, it showed me that my folder was nearly 9GB. It it normal for a .minecraft folder to take up this much disk space?

The Bunny Tail isn't part of the Bunny Girl set, right?

TVTropes previously said that the combo is "Bunny Ears, Bunny Suit, Bunny Tail", but the Wiki says nothing about a set with the Tail, and instead the third item is Fishnet Stockings.

Which is right?

What to do if Geometry Dash doesn't startup?

This has been happening for 3 days now. I start the game and nothing happens, all it does is to inform me that I am in Offline Mode (I have limited internet access, so I cannot reinstall the game either). On the first day, I just went into online mode for a bit and it worked. The second day I had to restart my PC but today, none of them worked. I tried the following:

  • Verify the files
  • Search all the internet for solutions
  • Start through steam, through steam://rungameid/322170 and through C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Geometry Dash\GeometryDash.exe
  • Reinstall the monitor drivers, just in case it had started.
  • Try to find out if it didn't even start, and it didn't
  • Run it in compatibility mode

I also found a solution to use by going to %localappdata%\GeometryDash and deleting CCGameManager.dat, but I prefer not to because I have an un-backupped 20k-objects level.

Please help me

If a ghost cleans a vent with an impostor in it, does the impostor get kicked out of the vent?

If a ghost performs their clean vent task on a vent that an impostor is sitting in, does the impostor get kicked out of the vent for a passer-by or a camera to see?

Why are there huge gaps in my world?

After a long night of gaming with my boyfriend, finally making a nether portal and exploring for a bit, we logged off for the night. However, when I log on this morning to work on stuff, our whole house, along with the ground surrounding it, is just gone.

There are huge holes in the floor, along with small remains from our house and farm. I assumed it was a chunk error, so I tried resetting them, but it didn't work. I tried logging off and back on again, but it did nothing. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling my game, but it did nothing. I checked my other world, and it was completely fine, so I'm being led to the conclusion that the Nether may have destroyed the world; however, from the way the holes are formed it doesn't seem like damage from a mob.

Something else that I thought was weird is that some grass that we broke to make room for our farm and egg farm had regenerated. We had two rows of wheat, plus some space for fencing and lighting, and suddenly the grass is back. We also had a panda enclosure with some bamboo, and as you can see in one of the images, the ground under it is gone; but it's still standing tall and proud.

There is also a huge hole behind this area, and I'm really stuck on what the cause could be, because if it was mob damage, I assume it would be a lot less severe and more prominent. If it was missing chunks, it would've been a lot simpler to fix.

We've spent so much time on this world, and it would suck so bad to find out there's nothing we can do. I am running Minecraft version 1.17 on Windows 10.

I went back to check on the world. The MB's keep going up, yet there's no change to the world. I found some corrupt files after looking into my world files on my drive. Any ideas on how to recover them?

Applying custom cape to badlion/lunar/laby mod

I had bought minecraft recently and I had used a cape and edited it, and I want to apply it to my skin. This is the cape that I want to upload. I am fine with using any kind of launcher, the official mc launcher/badlion/lunar, but I want to apply it on my 1.8.9 as I play bedwars usually.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

Asian fonts aren't displaying in Teeworlds

In Teeworlds on Linux, Korean/Chinese/Japanese fonts just display as a bunch of []s. This is true both in-game and in the settings:

This is true whether I install from my package repository, the Teeworlds Downloads page, or from Flathub.

Note: It was NOT the case when I downloaded the modded DDNET client. Korean worked fine there.

This happened both on Arch Linux KDE, as well as KUbuntu 20.04

Anyone have suggestions?

What does this star icon mean on Genshin Impact's minimap?

Sometimes it shows up randomly on my minimap when I'm moving around, sometimes it seems like it's been there for a while. I have no clue what this symbol means -- there's no legend to tell me what it means, and the main map doesn't show them.

I am on Minecraft playing on my friend's world (not server). However, they aren't online. I want to continue my work on that world and not start brand new on survival again. I've already made a lot of progress and would not like to lose it. How can I access the world?

I started playing Half Life 1 on 1366x768, and I feel that every user interface item is too small (weapon selector, ammo, health & HEV suit energy, pause menu and others).

Will PS4 synchronize save data between two PS4's

My brother has a PS4 with lots of digital games. He activated his console as primary because my niece also plays those games. So my console is secondary.

If I download those games from his account I wouldn't be able to play.

My idea is to download games from his account on a secondary console (my console) and play them using the same account, i.e. my brother's account.

Will this affect his game data? I have seen it starts fresh games on my console. If it synchronizes will it spoil both our data?

Xbox One backwards compatibility and cloud saves

This is a bit of a complex issue so I will try and break it down as I can.

I had an Xbox 360 for many years but I never ever had Xbox live gold because I am not interested in multiplayer gaming. Obviously, I have a standard Xbox live account.

I had been playing through the orange box on Xbox 360, and understood that in order to continue to play where I left off on Xbox One, I first would have to save my save game data into the cloud. However I tried to do this on Xbox 360 but wasn't successful. I could not find a way to do it and I presumed that this was because I did not have a gold membership?

I therefore resigned myself to starting the orange box games again from the very start on Xbox One, as I would have no saved data on Xbox one X. I didn't manage so much as I really enjoyed these games and was happy to play them all again. I did back up the orange box Xbox 360 save data to a pen drive, but I had read online that this wasn't really going to work on Xbox One X anyway...

So, I recently purchased an Xbox One X, and inserted the orange box disc. I knew that I would have to start the games again because the backwards compatibility on Xbox One only reads save data from the cloud, and that I had been unable to do this on Xbox 360 prior to purchasing my Xbox One X .

Before I restarted the game on Xbox One X, I decided to make use of the £1 offer of one month of Xbox live gold membership, and I also signed up for the similar offer for games pass. I realise thesse subscriptions will continue to renew unless I cancel them however I am really not interested in multiplayer gaming and so the Xbox live gold membership feels of very little value to me and I would rather not continue with it ( Games pass, however, feels of much better value).

I am making good progress in half life 2 now on Xbox One X, and really enjoying it. However because the save data is reliant on the cloud, does this mean that I have to continue to be an Xbox live gold member forever in order to utilise any kind of save data on any backwards compatible game (even those started entirely afresh on Xbox One X), and continue to make new save games on these games?

Really hope this makes sense. Basically do I have to be a continued Xbox live gold member in order to really use backwards compatibility, given that this is apparently very very reliant on the cloud save feature which I understand to be on Xbox live gold only feature?

I am concerned that if I cancel my gold membership (I.E.do not continue beyond the £1 one month trial) and then try and start any new backwards compatibility games, I will not be able to make any new save games at all!!

I am new to Xbox so sorry if these questions seem stupid. I have tried looking online and not found any answers

What are the effects of placing a city on a resource in Civilization VI?

There are available: strategic resources (like iron), normal resources, like sheep and luxurious resources like wine. Do we get any bonuses for placing a city on a resource tile?

What are the tradeoffs for tall vs. wide empires?

Background

For clarification, tall empires are ones with a few very large and productive cities. Wide empires are ones with many smaller cities.

In Civilization 5, global happiness prevented you from creating too wide of an empire. In addition, science and culture costs increased for each new city you founded.

Question

In Civilization 6, global happiness was removed, leading me to believe that in theory, I could create as many cities as I could fit on the map.

What mechanisms exist in Civ 6 to penalize you for creating a wide empire?

I am not looking for opinions on which is better, I am looking for specific game mechanics like added costs.

Does anything happen if I collect all the code cubes?

How can I stream (Jackbox) with the lowest latency possible?

My friends and I would like to play Jackbox Party Pack online. The only way to do this is to have one person host the game, and stream the video to the other players.

The problem is that Steam Broadcast and Twitch both have a 15-20 second stream latency, which is way too high to play the game together.

Is there some way to stream the game online without such a high latency?

What kind of pick does it take to mine Emeralds?

I just found my first emeralds, and I'm scared to mine it lest I mine it with the wrong pick and thus lose it. I'm very early in my game, so I don't have an iron pick yet, but don't want to forget where the emerald is.

I thought the wiki would have this information, but it doesn't appear to.

What kind of pick does it take to mine Emeralds?
