| How can I keep items in inventory on death in Minecraft? Posted: 10 Sep 2021 03:45 AM PDT I die and I lose everything on Minecraft. How do I retain the lost items? I have tried the keep inventory command and kept it true as well. But, it still didn't help. Maybe, I am doing something wrong.  |
| Is GTA IV actually more heavy and requires more resources than GTA V? Posted: 10 Sep 2021 03:07 AM PDT I have 940MX GPU laptop with i7 processor and 16 GB RAM. In this GTA V runs fine (30 FPS) at 1024x768 resolution and low to medium settings. So I thought since GTA IV is 4 years old than this, it would have a little less realistic graphics and less resource consuming. But to my surprise, even at lower settings (all settings and details are at their lowest) and lower resolution, my GTA IV struggles to get even 18 FPS. It is extremely slow as compared to GTA V. It feels like I'm playing a latest graphics rich game on max settings. It's very weird. I was even more surprised when I found some online YouTube videos about this game (GTA IV) review and they were getting 35 FPS on same 940MX gpu laptop with i5 processor. So I feel something is wrong with my game. So is this expected behavior and GTA IV actually "heavier" than GTA V? Or could be installation problem?  |

I don't have any paid xbox subscriptions. I have checked that

I had no idea what the machine said (the brassen robot voice didn't make it any better). At least I now know that (I write everything phonetically as I remember) "Interminoller" is "Intruder Alert!" But it gets even sillier with post facto rationalizations like "Nummer Neun, du hast Glück, es geht!"§ (I think if you escaped to another part of the maze - I googled, probably that's "The humanoid must not escape") or "Nine! Nine! Number Nine!" (when clearing a level?). Does anyone know the complete list of sentences used in Berzerk, and for which situations? § "Number Nine, you are lucky, this works!"  |
| Minecraft not showing the port when opening the server to LAN - now what? Posted: 09 Sep 2021 09:54 AM PDT My kids have two Ubuntu machines running Minecraft Java Edition. Everything used to work fine with them playing together, but since they've downloaded the latest version opening the game to LAN no longer shows the message saying "server opened on [port]". They are also unable to find each other normally in the "looking for games" multiplayer-menu. Oddly enough, if my wife runs Minecraft on her Windows machine, it all works fine; she gets the message and my kids can join her session. What might be going on here? There's been no changes to the OS itself, so I feel like this is something that's changed on the Minecraft end, but I have no idea where to look for the problem without any feedback. It just seems to open to LAN on the Ubuntu machines and not show the message and they can both connect to the Windows machine fine; they just can't see each other or list the port.  |

| How to get my turtles to stay in their pond? Posted: 09 Sep 2021 02:57 PM PDT My turtles aren't staying on my pond in Minecraft, and I don't know why. They were born there, I actually bred them and it's the place where they also hatched. But once they are done laying eggs they go far away and do not stay on my really big pond with seagrass, kelp, and with some other fishes. How can I get the turtle to stay in my pond?  |

| Ammo converter missing after moving C.A.M.P Posted: 09 Sep 2021 01:24 PM PDT I've bought an Ammo Converter from the Atom store. It wasn't the best investment, but hey, I've managed to place it inside a shack that is a core of my camp. Unfortunately, I forgot to modify the blueprint for the shack... When I've moved the camp, the converter is no longer inside the shack - this was to be expected, as the blueprint hasn't been updated. However, the ammo converter is not on the list of the stored items (where usually end up loose contraptions that haven't been merged together in a blueprint) and when I am trying to build a new one, I've got an info that the maximum number of such types of objects (1/1) has already been built. How can I get my converter back?  |
| "Surgeon Simulator 2: Access All Areas requires an active internet connection" Posted: 09 Sep 2021 05:37 PM PDT I've tried playing Surgeon Simulator 2 on the PC Game Pass, but every time I launch I get the above message. I thought maybe their servers were overloaded, but I've been trying for days now with no luck, while my friends are able to launch successfully every time. There's lots of reports of this problem in the "app reviews", but none of them suggest any fixes. I clearly am online, since I'm posting this. Is there any way to actually play this game?  |
| Can I fight lower level bosses in Genshin Impact? Posted: 09 Sep 2021 08:49 AM PDT I have recently completed a quest which has increased my World Level to 4. I didn't realise at the time that this would push all the boss monsters levels up to around 60 to 62. I only have one lv60 character, and now I need to ascend other heroes I do not have the power to defeat the boss monsters to get the materials I need. Have I locked myself out of being able to ascend my other characters? The materials I need are from lv30 bosses, but they're all lv62! My team is this one, I am trying to ascend them all up to 60 now to help, but the materials are proving nearly impossible to obtain  |

We wanted to make the ascendant rifles but it is asking us for 17160 metal ingots which cannot even fit in the slot spaces at the smithy table or anywhere else. How do we change this?  |
| Posted: 09 Sep 2021 12:00 PM PDT I have a sheep pen that I just fill with store bought grass bales. The issue comes when the sheep "dirty" the pen, as in leave grass scraps in the loading area. I am able to pick up the grass without issue with my bucket loader, but I cant put the grass back into the feeding area (as the tray is pretty much always full), and I can't store the grass anywhere I've seen, like a storage barn or silo. Where can I store this excess grass to refill the feeders when the bales run out? Or at the very least 'delete' it, via selling or some other means... so my OCD doesn't go off. I've tried everything from dumping from the bucket into another trailer to take to the stoarage locations (barn/silo), but nothing seems to accept this "messy" grass. Do I need to collect it with a baler until eventually all the scrap makes a new bale? I feel like that could work, but it will take a really long time. I'm playing on Xbox, so editing xml files like in the pc version won't work. the game does support console mods though, so if there is something in the ingame mod marketplace I'm missing that would be acceptable as an answer.  |

The Epic Games version is BORDERLANDSTPS-2.0.0 The Steam version is BORDERLANDSTPS-1.0.7... I've seen a downgrade online, that seems to be for 1.0.7... Could I apply that to my Epic Games version?? Or, do I get SHiFT accounts and use that to connect the games? Although, my Steam version doesn't seem to have any way to connect with SHiFT?  |

Posted: 09 Sep 2021 10:15 AM PDT I own Rocket League both disc and download format and I want to sell the disc, but I want to make sure it works before I sell it. When I put the disc in, it says "Do you want to switch to the disc version of this game? The downloaded version will be deleted." I just want to know if that would completely get rid of my downloaded version or can I get it back?  |
| Posted: 09 Sep 2021 10:00 AM PDT In Planet Zoo, the "beds and shelters" tab under 'Habitats' includes premade hard shelters and also bedding (piles of leaves and hay.) Adding the hard shelters to my habitats or excavating out of hills meets the "hard shelter" requirement for my animals -- so what's bedding used for? As an example, I have an okapi who is showing 100% for all stats (except 99% for plants) -- she's perfectly happy:
... and yet looking at her habitat, she has hard shelter and no bedding. The habitat info panel shows this as "bad" (red indicator) ... but does it really affect anything?
When I tried Googling what the purpose of bedding was, all I found were year-old guides about how to build hard shelter. Did the hard shelter requirement previously include something related to bedding? Is there some hidden game mechanic I'm not understanding? I'm playing Franchise mode, hard -- though I've seen the same behavior in scenario, sandbox, and challenge modes and all difficulties.  |

Now I am the owner of this copy of the game. Can I give the ownership of my purchased copy of the game to my friend without having to buy it again as a gift?  |
| The paragraph symbol to change text color in Minecraft won't appear Posted: 10 Sep 2021 02:02 AM PDT So I've recently been working on a world and using the command blocks to add special effects and such, and I've had no issues with anything. Then I log off to eat dinner last night and then log back on and all of a sudden the paragraph symbols ( When I tried going to a pre-existing command block to copy the symbol the game just cleared that box the second I went into edit mode. Luckily I didn't try to copy it from an important command, or I might've really messed something up. Anyway, if anybody knows how to fix this bug and could let me know it would be greatly appreciated. It's really hindering my creative process right now...  |
| Multi-biome superflat/skyblock Posted: 09 Sep 2021 11:03 AM PDT I have created a skyblock world by setting a superflat world to generate with only air. Problem is, it doesn't seem to have any biomes other than forest. I would very much like, however, to have it generate different biomes throughout the world. Of course being skyblock there would be no natural generation of anything, but it would permit me to freeze water into ice, grow coral, etc. Is there any way to change the biome generation settings of an existing world? Failing that, is there any way to create an empty world with variable biomes when generating from scratch (in which case I could just copy my current island to such a world)?  |
| How to remove featured servers Posted: 10 Sep 2021 12:06 AM PDT I don't want this featured server to be shown as i think its distracting my kids from playing with me in our server to achieve the main goal from minecraft which is use your brain to build something smart. I don't see this mini games are useful anymore its wasting time and they are aiming away from the original minecraft purpose. Update My reasons : Currently i'm playing with my kids and friends minecraft and i want them to be pro in building things mechanics and beautiful things but after sometime they get bored and go to play mini games throw eggs and that waste of time .. my only solution is to stick with java edition ( but there is no tablet or mobile option here )

Posted: 09 Sep 2021 09:07 PM PDT I'm creating a custom map in Minecraft and came across an idea involving running water as an obstacle. I was wondering if there was a way to create running water that would beat and push the player in the direction of flow as though they were being dragged downstream like white water rapids. A /tp command that executes if the player is in a flowing water block might do it, but I was wondering if there was anything smoother and more reliable.  |

| When i finish the mission (Copy Protection) in Prey why cant i craft nuromods Posted: 09 Sep 2021 06:04 PM PDT I already beat the game once and when I started a brand new game it immediately said I couldn't craft any more neuro mods. (even though I had crafted approximately 0) now I've completed the quest copy protection but every fabrication station says no licenses remaining but it no longer pops up the error message that is displayed on the fabricator. So i still cant craft any more. PLZ HELP!!!!  |

There is also an item, called King's Rock, that adds flinch chance to all attacks. What is the flinch chance on these moves and items, and what is the flinch chance when they are stacked?  |
| Is it possible to add sockets to items? Posted: 09 Sep 2021 01:08 PM PDT One rather frequent outcome of item enchanting in Torchlight 1 used to be, especially in the late game, adding sockets to items. My previous weapon, the Extension Sword (highlights: 452-838 dps physical + 285-556 dps between fire and poison, -9% fumble chance, +20% fire damage, 2 meh enchantments) had a socket that was very well spent with my Eye of Gallo (93 health stolen on hit; hit multiple enemies, gain 93 health multiple times!) The weapon sadly got superseded by my Beast Hammer of Clouded Vision (562-1055 physical, 90% interrupt chance, 10% blinding cloud), which unfortunately has no sockets. Can I fix this somehow? I really started to rely on the combined effects of Forcefield (damage absorption) and health steal as a cheap and safe way to heal myself, but the days seem over now. I can still go back to the previous gun, except the general poison theme of Act 3 means giving up half of the elemental damage on that Extension Sword and... yeah, I'd just be happier with rescuing the gem and cramming it on the Hammer somehow. Is it possible?  |
