| Missing 'dismiss' option for lieutenant Posted: 06 Nov 2021 10:10 PM PDT Assassin's Creed: Odyssey (PC, all DLC, via Steam). At the end of the 'Daughters of Lalaia' quest (part of the Lost Tales of Greece DLC), I invited Thyia to join my crew. Unfortunately she's rather wimpy, so I want to dismiss her to make room for actually useful crew members. However I don't see a 'dismiss' option; when I hover over her picture, all I see is 'assign'.
In comparison, when I hover over another "picked up during a quest" NPC, Pandaros, I have both the option to assign and dismiss him.
All of my other lieutenants I can dismiss, with the exception of the three yellow/legendaries at the bottom (because they're "rewards" from the Ubisoft). Googling, I found a whole lot of chatter about another NPC that gets stuck when you invite him onboard -- Tekton. But I've not found anybody mentioning Thyia or how to actually fix this. As you can see from the second screenshot, she's by far the weakest member of my crew (white/common) and I have no use for her. How do I dismiss Thyia? And no, she's not part of any future quest; she only shows up during Daughters of Lalaia and I've completed that.  |
| Pistons don't seem to do anything in Minecraft? Posted: 06 Nov 2021 11:25 PM PDT Ok, I am a relative newbie to Minecraft. I setup a little Minecraft server (Nukkit) on a Raspberry Pi a few weeks back for my daughter. We can not figure out how to get Pistons to do anything. We tried placing a block of Redstone directly under a piston. Nothing. We tried making a trail of Redstone dust with a lever. We pull the lever, the Redstone dust lights up but the piston does nothing? We tried both normal and sticky pistons. We tried putting a block of dirt on top of the piston, still nothing. We typically play from our iPhones, but I tried from Windows 10 MS Store version and have the same problem. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.  |
| Randomize minecraft spawnpoint for every player in the server Posted: 06 Nov 2021 09:58 PM PDT So, I'm trying to find a way to make every player have a randomized spawn point. I know I can try by using The thing is, is there a way to make this so any new player that enters gets a randomized spawn point automatically? I was thinking of doing it manually (aka, tp the new player to a random location and then set their spawnpoint by command line) or maybe having some kind of structure in the spawn with command blocks, but I'm curious as to see if there may be other ways.  |

Will these eventually expire or is it possible to eventually complete all of them? If they don't expire, is there a maximum number to queue or will new ones always pop up?  |
| how to make a named trident execute a command Posted: 06 Nov 2021 08:44 PM PDT So i'm making this world with lots of commands and when a trident hits the ground, it makes a cow named bob spawn. and when an arrow hits the ground, it gives a diamond. two is not enough for my next idea so i was wondering if it's possible to make it so that it only works if the trident that's named touches the ground. So like, let's say there is a trident. when it hits the ground it spawns a cow named bob. well im wanting a trident that is called trident2 to give you a netherite ingot. I want it to be this command: but instead the trident is called trident2. is this possible?  |

| Kapp'n won't take me on boat ride Posted: 06 Nov 2021 04:05 PM PDT My kids are playing Animal Crossing New Horizons and Kapp'n won't take us on his boat. I have verified and they have enough Nook Miles (over 15k). We are not playing in English but if I translate freely he says something like: "I only take old sea wolf. You're too inexperienced. If you still want a ride go the airport first.". Going the the airport we have the options for multi-player, going to Joe's island and something about buying a Nook ticket. We tried going to Joe's island. We waited a day in real life and tried again. I'm not super familiar with the game. Searching online and it seems you just have to go up to him and pay the fee.  |

People says October Treat. It's an S card. But Shroom's Grace heals for 120 and adds 40 shield. Seems like a much better bargain.  |

| How to break bedrock from above in Minecraft Bedrock Edition? Posted: 06 Nov 2021 02:34 PM PDT I want to break the bedrock blocks on top of the end gateways, but I don't know how. I only know how to break bedrock from below, so I can break the bedrock blocks underneath the end gateway but not above. It involves pushing an end crystal into a bedrock block and pulling it with a sticky piston. The method can't break bedrock from above because end crystals can only be moved by pushing its pedestal. Does anyone know how? I couldn't find any Youtube videos on it. I am playing on 1.16.10 Video showing removal of bedrock with end crystal from beneath:  |

Posted: 06 Nov 2021 10:31 PM PDT I'm trying to use commands to make something similar to the "pop-up tower" chest on Hypixel bed wars. I am trying to As of now, I can testfor a chest with specific items, but only relative to the player. And also, any item can be in the other unspecified slots, so when I test, how do I check for no item in a slot? And what command would I use to execute at this chest? I'm on 1.12 by the way. So 1.13+ commands won't work. Edit, the answer didnt help and they wont let me delete the question.  |

| How to throw a Pokeball far in Pokemon Go? Posted: 06 Nov 2021 12:43 PM PDT Recently, I caught a Pidgeot after roughtly 50 pokeballs. However, most of the pokeballs were simply not closing the vertical gap between the bottom of the screen and the pokemon, which is higher for certain pokemon. I experimented with different speeds and release times with my finger, but I'm still not sure exactly what works best. I'm looking for some tips on how to throw farther, or otherwise how to proceed in this situation where I can't throw far enough to hit the pokemon. (So I'm not asking about how to throw accurately or how to improve my catch rate.) I'd prefer answers that work when AR mode is turned off, both because some phones can't use it and because throwing accurately is easier without it.  |

Posted: 07 Nov 2021 01:47 AM PST Apparently my puny hard drive can't handle the awesomeness of Payday 2, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, and Fallout: New Vegas all being installed on my hard disk at the same time. I spent all my money buying Payday, XCOM and New Vegas so now I can't afford a bigger hard drive. I need to uninstall some of my old games to make room. Is there a way to sort my Steam games by size on disk? I would prefer to only remove one game rather than several.  |
