How do I get to this island in the middle of nowhere in the north-east section of the map?

I'm trying to get to this island in the middle of nowhere to the east of Stormbearer Point. There is an Anemoculus there that I need to grab and is the only one that I'm missing.

How do I get there? Gliding and Swimming is not an option because you don't have enough stamina.

Muffalo with blue wrap cover around it?

When I was loading up a caravan, one of my muffalos was draped in this weird-looking blue drab. I don't see anything mentioned of it in the Rimworld wiki, and despite having had dozens of muffalo caravans at this point, this is the first time I've ever seen this. Is this an easter egg, or is there some reasoning behind why the muffalo looks like this?

I thought this might have been the parka or tuque (hat) I loaded onto the caravan to sell, but even after dropping them from the caravan, the muffalo still looks like this.

Did using the /give command to get items with attributes change in 1.17.1?

I've already stumbled upon some similar threads, but none on version 1.17. So my issue is, I want to make custom items (sword, armors…) with custom attributes. I tried copy/pasting some commands, but none worked. It keeps telling me that the item name is unknown, here's an example of command :

/give @p diamond_sword{Unbreakable:1,AttributeModifiers:[{Slot:"mainhand", AttributeName:"generic.attack_damage", Amount:100000.0, UUID:[I; -1, -1, -1, -1]},{Slot:"mainhand", AttributeName:"generic.movement_speed", Amount:1, UUID:[I; -1, -1, -1, -1]}]} 1

It's from a tutorial for Minecraft 1.16.5, so I suppose that it does not work the same in 1.17.1.

What is the purpose of keeping "allow background activity" and "allow background data usage" in the game?

Minecraft iOS. I can create a structure, capture and save in a structure block on iOS. I cannot figure out how to load that structure using a structure block in a different world. Is there a special path to the user-generated structures I am missing or something?

Is there a way to reach the NSC Power Plant Hidden Location early, with just Evade and Launch?

I think it's possible by stacking the right objects together on the block / platform thing that's a little away from the bridge that leads to the center, when coming from the Upper Power Plant Control Point?

I managed to get ~5 barrels stacked together once? Is that enough? I might've achieved it if the Hiss didn't keep interrupting and forcing the items to reset their positions.

I even grabbed Launch Heavy Objects for more stair fodder, but that didn't seem to unlock any new items?

API for Minecraft Server .jar files [closed]

I'm developing an app that would let people manage Minecraft server instances and players easier (think MultiMC but for servers). To let a user create a server profile, I need to, among other things, find an API to download the server.jar files from. I want to be able to support vanilla, paper, spigot, bukkit, and (maybe) forge and fabric.

I found https://serverjars.com but it looks super suspicious to me because:

  • it uses MD5 to verify the server files
  • it has an anime girl picture on the homepage (nothing against anime girls, but it clearly doesn't belong here)
  • the API is closed-source (not a dealbreaker alone, but combined with the other two, very much so)

Is there some similar, less suspicious, API that I can use to be able to download the jar files? I would be OK with having to query each vendor individually to get available versions and download jars, but I can't find individual APIs either.

Is there a way to protect your group from friendly fire when using "Corrupted blood"?

The Lich mythic path spell "Corrupted Blood" doesn't seem as much:

Spell Effect: You are nauseated. Additionally, if you die, you deal 6d6 damage to all creatures in 15 feet radius and apply Corrupted Blood to them.

But in practice, this spell can wipe whole armies. Why? Because the order of the events is reversed to one in the description:

  1. You infect target 1 - he gets nauseated and have the Corrupted Blood mark. No biggie here.
  2. Target 1 dies, FIRST infecting all nearby creatures with Corrupted Blood THEN dealing 6d6 damage to them
  3. If any of the creatures from #2 dies from the original damage, they spread the corruption and deal the damage

Repeat step #3 until your game freezes, followed by a gory picture of absolutely everything on the screen turning into red paste. The caster included.

Is there a way to protect your party from the damage, other than running as far as you can ? I think that Lich has a spell which can turn all party members temporary into Undead (so no sickness effect), but it won't produce from the damage itself.

Minecraft Game Not Working [closed]

The game is not running but the launcher is. I tried changing files but it just said its open and you cant do it.

I restarted, but no luck. I also tried looking for Java files that were stuck running in task manager but there's nothing there.

What should I do?

I only know how to delete all the saves – obviously I don't want that.

Why can't I hear when I am getting shot in the back?

In multiplayer, whenever I am getting shot from behind, I can barely hear the impacts of the bullets. There are the usual red indicators on the HUD that denote I'm getting shot in the back, but I find that not being able to hear the shots often throws me off and I end up dying a lot without even putting up a fight.

I thought perhaps it was an audio setting, in particular something with surround sound, but I couldn't find any settings related to that. There is a setting for adjusting the volume of bullet impacts, which I have maxed out, but it didn't seem to make a difference.

This seems uncharacteristic of other Halo games - I'm fairly certain getting shot in the back was definitely louder in previous games. Am I missing a setting or is this how the game is?

I'm trying to get through the Hidden Area in Research where it seems like the whole room is full of Mold...

I'm assuming it is, but I want to know if grabbing Health Mods would help or if it doesn't matter since it deals % of my health every second so I have as long as I would ever have to survive.

Well, Immortality assist keeps the room from killing me, so that's nice.

How to use /fill to fill tilled dirt?

I am trying to fill large areas of land with tilled dirt on one of my worlds. (Creative Mode) I am making a giant farm. I've been using the command /fill to put the dirt down, but is there any way to fill it already tilled? It would save me much time.

I installed Minecraft before getting my 1TB SSD, and now I want to move it. My C drive is very low on space and I'm trying to keep it free of games. Is there any way I can completely move Minecraft to another drive with all my data intact?

I'm on windows 10 right now.

The LEGO Movie 2: How to unlock Coffee Unchained?

It's fairly straightforward how to clear all the other quests in Apocalypseburg. But this one has me confused.

We have this shop "Coffee Unchained", but it's not obvious how to "unchain" it. Presumably, doing so reveals the final "Master Piece" (purple brick) for Apocalypseburg.

From what I've read online, one must build tables and chairs, and then place or equip food.

I've tried this in various combinations, but to no avail. It's not clear which items must be built/equipped.

Having acquired 49 of the 50 possible Master Pieces for this world, it's really irking me.

How can I get the Snowball artifact?

The wiki lists the Snowball as coming from one of the "other stages", specifically the "Christmas" stage. I haven't seen that stage anywhere. How can I play that stage? Can I get that artifact any other way, like as a reward from completing a Beyond quest?

In Demon Souls, in order to level up, I need to return to the Nexus. Can I return to the Nexus through the Archstone, in order to level up before fighting the boss?

Super Mario Odyssey Downgrade Digital Version to 1.0.0 or 1.1.0

Since v1.2.0 came out for odyssey, many wall clip glitches used by speed runners were patched out.

This forced them to buy the physical copy and reset factory their switch, turn wifi off, etc. just to get the game back to 1.0.0, since if you try to update the game it will automatically update to the latest version, so already there's no clear solution to get odyssey back in v1.1.0, even with the physical copy.

This is really inconvenient to have to buy the physical copy and reset factory the switch just to play odyssey in v1.0.0, yet I do realize that some still speedrun the game in 1.2.0, but generally 1.1.0 speedruns have proven to be more successful (according to the current leaderboards).

Is there really no other way to downgrade to 1.0.0 or 1.1.0 with the digital copy of Super Mario Odyssey or any other digital game realistically? This is very annoying and obscure ... perhaps there's a work around procedure for this?

Creating Key Bindings for an Xbox One controller on Mac

I am really looking for a way to create key binding for an xbox one controller connected to a Mac. I know this is kind of a weird request, but I really want to try playing Guild Wars 2 with a controller. While, granted, it is probably better to use a keyboard and mouse, I really want to try it with a controller, but this game does not support a controller. I was wondering if there was any way to create key bindings to the Xbox One Controller buttons. For instance: left stick as WASD and ABXY for 1234. Combinations would be helpful as well, like Rt + A = 5, and that sort of thing. I have a driver for the controller, but that is only useful for compatible games on steam and OS X. I am currently using Xone-OSX from FranticRain on Github, but am open to other programs. Thanks in advance!

I tried to search for it on the PlayStation store, but as expected, I didn't find anything. Also, the PS4's browser does not support flash, so flash-based clones won't work.

How can I make my far away command blocks work

I have command blocks on my adventure map, the map is partially parkour and has no ground just floating islands, I don't want people too see the command blocks so I put them 200 blocks away and they're supposed to have low render distance but if they have low render distance it won't load and the commands won't be executed, what do i do?

In Skyrim after v 1.9 patch you can make a skill legendary. How can I make a skill legendary? If I make enough skills legendary will I hit the level 252 cap?

Why can't I craft a sawmill?

According to Terraria wiki entry for Sawmill crafting; it requires the following:

  • 10 Wood
  • 2 Iron Bars
  • 1 Iron Chain

As shown in the screenshot below, I'm meeting all the requirements(rather I've more objects than required)

As can be seen; I have 32 wood, 15 Iron bars and 1 Iron chain(3rd row, 5th column). Still no option to craft a sawmill is displayed either on workbench or on Anvil!

Is this a bug?

EDIT

I should mention that it is a multi-player instance(in case, it has anything to do with the issue).

What basic tactics should I use in Battle for Wesnoth campaigns? Should I focus on leveling up a small number of troops, or should I aim for quantity instead of quality? Or something else entirely?
