unbearably high ping only ingame on this specific server

Situation: recently setup a modded minecraft server for me and my friends to play on were renting one of shockbyte, for the first few minutes the server was fine but then my ping randomly shot up to 1500 and the game stops updating til i recconnect then its fine for another couple minutes before it does the same thing.

Things ive tried: *pinging the ip from cmd consistently gets 150ms same in the Minecraft server browser before i connect *restarting my pc and factory resetting my internet *changed the server location *connecting through a vpn *my friends from the same city can connect fine

My question: is there anything else i can do to try diagnose my problem?

How do I quarantine the Jungle from the evil biomes pre hardmode (entering hardmode)?

I'm in a Medium, Classic, Crimson World. I have the jungle biome on the left side of the world near the ocean whilst the crimson biome is on the right side near the other ocean.

I've been researching ways on containing the evil biomes and from what I've read, the best way is to dig two hellevators (3 block wide with uncorruptable blocks on either side of the hellevators) on either side of the Jungle.

My question is, do I need to put a hellevator on the left side of the Jungle even though the crimson biome is on the right?

Can I mod Smash Bros Ultimate to Get access to game data during a Match?

I am trying to have access to game data during a match. For example at a specific point in the match, I would like to know each characters current position, velocity, whether they are in hit stun, they are actively using a move (and which one), etc. I am trying to Code a bot to play Smash, so I need access to these types of values. Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated!

are there any good ways to tier up faster I have heard, of the one way in which you hug the edge of a storm and keep healing but it's super boring any other good ways? I am a very skilled player but it seems when you hit a certain rank you get placed with hackers.

I have 2 unconnectable controller now after connecting to PC I tried connecting using every method I read but none of them work. now I can't even connect back to the PC both Bluetooth and wired doesn't work. all I can connect to is my Iphone

I've completed a few random requests, but they've only given me useless stickers and titles.

Is there a point to completing them other than for those things? For instance, do they give you research level points, or unlock new abilities/levels, or count towards your photodex score, or anything gameplay related?

Does the auto-select feature in New Pokémon Snap take challenges into account?

I've collected quite a few challenges to complete, but typically I use the Auto feature at the end of a level to select the pictures.

Does it take into account active challenges when deciding which picture to select?

Is there any difference between research level 3 and max level in New Pokémon Snap?

Why are diorite, andesite, and granite not spawning in All the Mods 6?

All the Mods 6 is a modpack for Minecraft 1.16.

I spent a long time mining and exploring caves but I haven't found any andesite, granite, or diorite. Andesite and granite are my favorite building blocks, and andesite is also used in the Create mod.

Andesite, granite, and diorite are not spawning anywhere. Is this intentional? Do I have to craft them with cobblestone and nether quartz?

How do I break out of a conditional command loop once it succeeds?

I'm fairly new to using commands. I am working on a little project about a mini-game and i've come to a roadblock. I am using Visual Studio Code to work on this project and have set up my own data pack. In this mini-game there are different waves. For wave 1 there are 12 enemies.

I've set up a scoreboard system so when 1 enemy is killed it adds 1 to the scoreboard. To activate Wave 2 i've set up a command:

execute if score @e[type=armor_stand,limit=1,sort=nearest,tag=test] monster matches 12 run schedule function mc:wave_two 1t append

I've put this command in a tick function so it'll run every 1 tick. The issue with this is that once the conditions are met it'll constantly run this command. Can I make the condition stop checking once it works?

How do you get expedition points in New Pokémon Snap?

After doing an expedition, you get points to level up that expedition. How do they work?

  • Are they based on the picturedex score of the images you save?
  • If so, does that mean it could be beneficial to overwrite photos from another expedition, even when the score is lower?
  • If not, does this mean it's beneficial to take photos of poses you already have good scores for on other expeditions, even if you know you won't save them?

Is it possible to ice fish during winter?

I've just transitioned to winter, and the fish ponds are frozen over. I've tried striking the ice with my pick and axe to form a hole for ice fishing, but am unable to break the ice. Are there other methods for ice fishing during winter, or must we rely on hunting animals for protein sources?

So, I've seen the Fortography challenge results now and then and it's left me wondering exactly how these people take these pictures since I can't find any camera tools in Creative or Battle Lab. The closest thing I've managed thus far is placing my character close enough to an object that it forces the camera into first person, but that only works if there is a large enough object around and it returns to third person as soon as I move. There has to be some way since people are clearly doing it. So, my question is, how do you manipulate the camera in these modes to change the viewing angle or go into first person to get better pictures and video?

How can I find the World Seed of an online multiplayer Valheim Server?

I discovered http://valheim-map.world/ yesterday and it's really neat! However, the seed extraction tool provided only works for games saved on my own, local computer. I do most of my Viking-ing on a multiplayer dedicated server with a few friends.

Is there any way that I can see the world seed for the dedicated server I play on, so that I can plug it in to this website, or, for example, to spin up a duplicate world on my home machine?

How can I disable Quick Chat in Among Us on the Nintendo Switch?

It looks like the Switch version of Among Us had a update called Quick Chat; a mode that lets you select preset phrases to chat. However, I've attached a USB keyboard to my Switch, so I can chat normally fairly quickly. I see an option for "Chat Mode" in the settings, that's set to "Quick Chat", but it's grayed out, and I can't even move the cursor to it. Is there something I need to change in my Switch account to get full chat access?

Does this One hit obliterator object actually exist?

I was looking at the BOTW object map for Lynels, but decided to search for the One hit obliterator.

However, what made me gasp is that 2 of them were found: One in the shrine of resurrection and one nearby Divine beast Vah Ruta.

Does this second instance of the One Hit Obliterator ACTUALLY exist, or is it just an object map bug?

Is my personal career rating relevant for the matchmaking?

If I have a low score, do I get placed into a game with other players with low scores (and same for high score), or are people matched together regardless of their personal score?

Edit: After some research i found some speculation threads where some people think there is indeed a career based matchmaking because of longer waiting times for high career points players. But this only pure speculation without facts, it would be nice if somebody knows a reliable statement of developers or fact based information.

Multiple games linked to one world

Background

I like to restart a lot when I play minecraft; and I rarely play online. I am the kind of player who will start a game, get established, explore, and then get bored and start again. However, I like the idea of starting all my new games in the same world.

I found that if I replace the 'region' folder in one save folder with a symbolic link (or a 'shortcut' in windows) to the region folder of another save, then they both save to the same location, and changes in one game are reflected in the other; but world generation anomalies tend to occur, due to multiple different seeds being used depending on which game is used.

Further, I found that if I linked two games with the same seed (e.g. one that was re-created from the other), then each would act like its own game, as above, but without the problem of world generation bugs. The only downsides seem to be that I have to start and respawn in the same location each time (the global spawn for that seed), and that it is tedious to set up each time I restart.

Additional notes: the 'linked' games allow for individual games to occur as if they are different users on the same server; they have different coordinates, inventories, and ender chest contents, but the world is the same.

To the Question

I would like to be able to start new games in (ideally a new location in) a pre-existing world, while having the old game still usable. If there is some kind of mod or third-party package which I can install to automate this for me, that would be really cool. If not, if anyone else has tried and succeeded at this, I'd like to hear your solutions.

I've set up internet on my Wii U but it isn't working?

I've set up my Wii U internet, it's been working for a while, then today when I try to start up Splatoon it says "unable to connect to internet". so then, I tried to play Smash Brothers, then it says the same thing. Every other game or app I have that connects to the internet, I cant connect to. I have connections set up, my internet's working on every other device I have...

Is it my crappy internet or is there something wrong with my Wii U?

Minecraft: Different Amount of Teams Generator

I am currently working on a mini game that involves two teams. I'm wondering if I can make a random team generator in Minecraft that varies with the amount of players that are in the game. For example if I had 8 players, I could have the two teams have 4 players on each. But if I had 10 players, I could have 5 players on each team. Can this be done with command blocks? I know how to make teams and assign people to them already with the scoreboard command, but I don't know how I can make a player amount varied team generator.
