Do you need to remove buildings to remove cultural penalty?

Posted: 14 May 2021 03:41 AM PDT

In Total War: Remastered, cities quite close to my capital are slowly getting angry because of cultural penalties and squalor.

In this post, I am mostly curious how to get rid of the cultural penalty. Do I really need delete the buildings that have a cultural penalty and then rebuild the Roman alternative? In some cities this effect is -45% so it is quite a big deal.

What does it mean when the Skyrim Quest seem's to be complete by all marker's filled grey but has not yet show in the denominator of the start menu?

Posted: 14 May 2021 04:29 AM PDT

The quest that I'm currently on has the title in the Start Menu.

Message to WhiteRun

I've completed almost everything there is to this Quest and has turned in the Message to the Jarl of WhiteRun.

I Click'd Start and Read under the Title & it say's

  • I am to deliver a Message to the Jarl Of WhiteRun. It is time for him to pick a Side in the War.

To Me it show's one bulletin and it say's Deliver Message to The Jarl Of WhiteRun next to it and It is Grey.

What does that mean?

How do you summon the Killer Bunny on Bedrock Edition?

Posted: 13 May 2021 03:49 PM PDT

I know that the Killer Bunny can be summoned with commands in Java Edition, like so:

summon minecraft:rabbit ~ ~ ~ {RabbitType:99}

Is it possible to do this on Bedrock Edition? If so, how?

Why do mobs not despawn when they are more than 128 blocks above me?

Posted: 13 May 2021 07:30 PM PDT

I' playing on a modded Minecraft server with my friends, and there are many extreme hills biomes. On top of one of these mountains (around Y-180), there were a lot of monsters spawning around me. But, when I enter a cave below the mountain and I'm below Y-10, nothing spawns in the caves, due to all those monsters that are still loaded on the mountain. Is there any way to fix this?

Dying Light the following: How to beat the Mother in final battle?

Posted: 13 May 2021 09:37 PM PDT

I am at the final part of dying light - the following. I have rejected Mother's request for sacrifice and fighting her. But she is too fast and furious in the last phase - in seconds, I am dead. Especially, when she screams, my health goes to zero fast. Is there a specific strategy to beat her in last phase of battle?

USB Loader GX keeps on crashing to the Homebrew Channel

Posted: 14 May 2021 02:07 AM PDT

I have a Wii on version 4.3U. One of my games used to work, but now all of them just crash to the Homebrew Channel. I already know there is another post about this, but I didn't perform a system update after I installed the cIOSes since my Wii was already on 4.3U.

I tried reinstalling the cIOSes, but that didn't work. I tried resetting all of my settings (because I changed them before the games didn't work), but that didn't work either. I tried taking my USB out of the Wii and plugging it back in (making sure that the USB was on the bottom port), and it still didn't work. I verified that my Wii games were in the correct file structure. Also, the .WBFS files ran perfectly okay on the Dolphin emulator.

I haven't found many videos or websites that could help me with this issue because most of them were irrelevant or the person who had the issue didn't have the cIOSes installed.

So how do I fix this?

How can I find the World Seed of an online multiplayer Valheim Server?

Posted: 14 May 2021 02:20 AM PDT

I discovered http://valheim-map.world/ yesterday and it's really neat! However, the seed extraction tool provided only works for games saved on my own, local computer. I do most of my Viking-ing on a multiplayer dedicated server with a few friends.

Is there any way that I can see the world seed for the dedicated server I play on, so that I can plug it in to this website, or, for example, to spin up a duplicate world on my home machine?

In Bugsnax, how do you get the "Say Cheese!" trophy after reaching the point of no return?

Posted: 13 May 2021 07:10 PM PDT

Right before the point of no return at the end of Bugsnax, each Grumpus has returned to the Snaxburg. In order to get the "Say Cheese!" hidden trophy, I need to do the following:

However, I am not able to open up my tool menu in Snaxburg to sauce them with cheese. How do I earn the trophy? Do I need to start over?

I ran through the point of no return once but you lose your tools and it doesn't seem like you're able to sauce a Grumpus and scan them.

Can't join my friend in mc and he lives in the uk

Posted: 13 May 2021 06:06 PM PDT

My friend in Minecraft can join my world but I can't join his. He tried to invite me, but I don't see the notification pop up. I switched to Android recently and can't see the invite things that used to pop up when I used iOS. What's weird is that my nearby friend can join him, but I can't join my other friend who lives in the UK. How can I join him?

Magic Arena - Certain deck formats not listed when creating new deck

Posted: 14 May 2021 03:41 AM PDT

When I create a new deck this is the entire selection of options I get to choose from for deck formats.

As you can see there is no options for either Historic Brawl or Historic Pauper

AVAILABLE DECK TYPES

Missing Formats 01 - Magic Arena

Missing Formats 02- Magic Arena

I simply assumed that these where not options in the game at present until one day I opened an existing deck and realized I could change its format to Historic Brawl.

I can then remove all cards and create a new Brawl deck.

Historic Brawl - Magic Arena

The words Wot da fook come to mind.

QUESTIONS

  1. Are these options available currently, in the past or have they been removed?
  2. Is there a way to choose these deck formats when creating a new deck and how?

What do you need to do to get all of the League Card stars?

Posted: 13 May 2021 05:14 PM PDT

In the Pokémon series starting with Ruby and Sapphire, you get stars placed on your Trainer Card for reaching certain milestones in the game, such as Pokédex completion and entering the Hall of Fame. For the past few generations they have been denoted by background colors and, in (Ultra) Sun and Moon, stamps, but stars return in Sword and Shield. Unlike past games, though, they seem to be more easily obtained. Like the past games, of course, it's not exactly clear what the criteria is to get each star. I have all of the stars so far, but I'm curious as to what the exact criteria is to get them.

What milestones must be reached to get each of the stars on your League Card in Pokémon Sword and Shield?

Is It Possible To Pass The Selected Player Down The Command Block Chain?

Posted: 13 May 2021 04:00 PM PDT

If I have an impulse block connected to chain command block I can trigger the two commands by pressing a button or standing on a pressure plate (or other redstone).

e.g. give a status effect then teleport

effect give @p minecraft:instant_health 1 10 teleport @p 10 75 10 90 0

However, this is using two selectors (one for each command block).

Is it possible to pass the selected player as an identifier from the first block to the second block?

EDIT: I am playing Java 1.15.2. I'd be separately interested to know if it is possible on one version and not on another.

How to get more gold after Khrumbul-dun?

Posted: 13 May 2021 11:00 PM PDT

In Khrumbul-dun I got daily amounts of metal. This haul I took over to the Isle of Awakening. But as gold was the last one and I was going on with the story and they stopped bringing up metals for me.

How can I get easily gold now? Because mining it is kinda hard as the blocks are hard to break. Should I have waited longer to progress the story and get more days with mining hauls this way?

Minecraft server ping-status by powershell

Posted: 14 May 2021 03:06 AM PDT

I'm making a simple mojang-api-based on powershell and I'm trying to know if there is any native way to ping/get status of aminecraft minecraft server. Until now I found that: [System.Net.Dns]::GetHostAddresses("mc.hypixel.net")[0].IPAddressToString can resolve an adress to 209.222.115.37, When I try to ping it with a simple ping 209.222.115.37 or ping mc.hypixel.net cannot connect to the server. So I tried with telnet 209.222.115.37 25565 or telnet mc.hypixel.net 25565 than It waits a little bit and than losts connection. I'm thinking if It's just some minecraft server(but I don't think so, because when I do it on my own server with localhost, same error with telnet, but works with ping)... Can someone tell me if there is any other way to do it by ping it(maybe sending special packets to make the server responde?)

PS: I found this reddit that explains very good how does connection to a minecraft server work.

Is there a Damage against lightly wounded not stacking bug?

Posted: 13 May 2021 08:37 PM PDT

I just crafted an ebony buckler that has both 11% and 20% damage against lightly wounded... After crafting, they are supposed to merge and show the sum (31%) as a single bonus, as that's how it works for all the other bonuses...

This one didn't stacked and it is still displayed as 2 separated bonuses in my inventory... I'm afraid there might be a bug and I'm getting just one of the bonuses.

Why would it show separately? I hope its just an inventory-related bug. enter image description here

Is there any way to bypass the Steam trading cool down?

Posted: 14 May 2021 02:52 AM PDT

Do you always have to wait a certain amount of time when you want to trade on Steam if you change your password or change your Steam guard? Is there any way to surpass this or do I simply have to wait an entire month?

Can I complete Home Sweet Home without enraging the Minute Men?

Posted: 13 May 2021 08:50 PM PDT

TL;DR I want to get the perks for completing Nuka World but don't want Preston to shoot me in the face. Is this possible?

I'm playing the sort of character who wouldn't side with the Raiders but would play along with them long enough to get everything I could before murdering them all. I'd like to get the perks from completing Power Play but as soon as I set a raider flag in the Commonwealth, I'm informed that "Preston hated that" (understandably so, even if he has no way of knowing because this settlement is miles away). The settlement I picked doesn't involve forcing any settlers off their land; I'm literally just creating one settlement that I plan to completely neglect until I can get the power on at Nuka World and slaughter everyone (including the settlement in the Commonwealth).

Preston and Ronnie however immediately go hostile without giving me a chance to explain myself. Preston is currently my lover so it's not a question of getting his affinity higher. I planted the flag and went directly to The Castle only to get a laser in my face for my troubles. I also tried having Preston as my companion during this mission, hoping that I could maybe convince him to trust me even if he hated me and eventually rebuild our relationship, and still got a laser in my face for my troubles.

Here is what I've tried so far to try and keep Preston from getting mad:

  • Planting the flag and waiting for a week or so to see if he calms down
  • Sending him to Far Harbor before planting the flag.

Can I complete this objective (Home Sweet Home, Power Play, kill all raiders, bring in settlers) without the whole laser-in-my-face thing? I'm playing on Survival mode so the console is out.

Problem with Minecraft Skins and Texture packs on multi user Kindle Fire

My son has a Kindle Fire, which we have set up for multiple users. Mine is an adult account and I manage his child account. He has been using Minecraft PE. This weekend, we downloaded Skins and Texture packs, which appear in my account, but are not available to him in his account. Can anyone help with this? Thanks!

Is there a Minecraft command for changing biomes?

How many points to fill up Fate Meter?

Posted: 13 May 2021 09:26 PM PDT

In Kingdoms of Amalur, you can fill up the fate meter by doing move combos, killing enemies, drinking potions, etc.

When you do a move combo/kill an enemy and it rewards fate points, you'll get a notice that tells you how many points you got (e.g., +24 fate points) in the top left of the screen.

If you open the menu to look at HP/Fate/MP, you can see your current/total HP and MP, but you can only see the percentage of fate you have (e.g., you might have 127/225 HP, 50% Fate, and 150/200 MP)

Out of curiosity, how many points does it take to fill up the fate meter to 100%, and does that value ever change?

Do DLC weapons level with me?

Posted: 13 May 2021 09:57 PM PDT

This is just a quick question. If I had bought the DLC and then opened the box, The weapons are like very low level, will the weapons level up with me? Or should I have waited till I was a high level then returned to get the weapons?

Which GTA Online cars can you steal and own?

Posted: 14 May 2021 12:47 AM PDT

Does anyone know which cars can be made your "personal car" by stealing? Or which ones can't?

Out of them, is there a "best" non-purchased car in terms of speed/acceleration/the usual?

EDIT: I'm making a list over here, feel free to contribute: Which stolen cars can you bring to LS Customs and what are their sell prices in GTA Online?

Do the enemies levels scale in Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning?

Posted: 13 May 2021 10:21 PM PDT

I'm currently only level 8, but I've noticed that everywhere I go, the enemies seem to be fairly equal in strength. Adding to that the fact that the game was designed by Ken Rolston (of Morrowind and Oblivion fame), and it has me wondering if the enemies are scaling to my level.

Do the enemies in Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning scale to be fairly close/equal to your level?

What effects, if any, does your choice of gender have?

Posted: 13 May 2021 09:46 PM PDT

After browsing through some of the Kingdoms of Amalur questions, I noticed that one achievement would have you wooing Rast Brattigan. Now, I imagine that Rast is receptive to wooing from either sex, as is often the case in video games when romance and achievements meet, but that got me wondering whether your choice of gender has any significant impact on your playthrough or not.

By significant, I mean something more substantial than references to your gender in dialogs. This is not unprecedented - Fallout 3 comes to mind, where your choice of gender would actually change the set of perks available to you (Black Widow vs. Lady Killer), and would in turn change the way you interact with male and female characters in the game world. The Mass Effect series is also a fine example, where specific romance options are only available to a specific gender.

So, just what does you gender affect when playing through Kingdoms of Amalur?

What do the different weapon damages imply?

Posted: 13 May 2021 11:22 PM PDT

So far in my adventuring throughout the world of Kingdoms of Amalur, I've discovered several weapons with stats like:

  • +11 Physical Damage
  • +6 Piercing Damage

I realize that Physical damage is base damage, while piercing damage is damage that ignores the enemy's armor rating. What I'm wondering is:

Are these two types of damage included separately?

(i.e. +11 Physical, +6 Piercing for a total of 17 damage vs. +11 Physical damage, 6 of which ignores enemy armor)

What are the limitations and penalties of going on a murder spree?

Posted: 13 May 2021 10:39 PM PDT

As my time in Amalur wound down last night, I decided to do the only logical thing and murder everyone I came across. I managed to make mincemeat of most of a village of Fae, but then I encountered someone who had a quest indicator over their head. I couldn't do damage to them, and talking to them seemed to indicate that they were still regarding me as a "friend" and that they still wanted my help with a quest.

(This was despite the fact that I was repeatedly bludgeoning him over the head with a magical staff of burning things with fire that was soaked with the blood of their compatriots, but I digress.)

It seemed I was able to take out most of the "non-essential" NPCs in an entire town this way, and I wasn't once stopped by a guard or other law enforcement individual. Further, there was no reaction from the citizens spared on account of their relative immunity to my attacks.

What are the limits to my murderous rampages? Can I kill shopkeepers? Does it matter if they're "generic" villagers or they have unique names? Are there any side quest NPCs that I can murder?

Further, what are the consequences? Will I be caught and sentenced to 2 minutes in prison at some point? Is there some "faction standing" that I tanked during this?
