Using Enchantment nbt tag in json recipe

I'm making a mod in 1.12.2 and I want to create a recipe when a sword + an enchanted book makes the same type of sword but with the enchants of the enchanted books. (diamond sword + an enchanted book of sharpness level 4 or 5 makes an diamond sword enchanted sharpness 6)

I tried to use this link but it only showed for potions so I had to try using the enchanted book wiki but it showed the patern in words not in code so I need help please

I've done a fair bit of googling and the closest thing to an answer I found involves the PS4: select the structure you'd like other players to help you build on the map and press triangle.

Great... What is the keybinding on PC? The UI doesn't even provide a hint about which key it is. And yes, I've leveled porting enough to allow for two requests at the same time but having tried every single key I just can't figure out how to mark a structure I need help building.

It'll take forever to rebuild the roads on my own lonesome.

Why did some of my fruit trees not grow to the next stage?

In the picture below, I have separated my trees with 2 horizontal spaces and 1 vertical space from the next tree. They are all non-native trees and were planted on the same day. (The holes are for spatial reference and were not there while the trees were left for one night)

Why did the trees in the middle region not grow? The trees on the edges advanced to the next growth stage while those in the middle of the plantation pattern did not. Is there a probability where they fail to advance? Or is there a maximum number of plants that will advance to the next stage in a day? (Because I did plant a whole lot of trees and maybe I exceeded some maximum number?)

How do I fix Universal Minecraft Editor's broken chunk locator?

The Universal Minecraft Editor allows users to edit many different parts of their world, including the NBT of items, entities, and blocks. It is commonly used to edit NBT data of items.

However, the 1.16.100 update of Minecraft Bedrock Edition has broken the editor's Chunk Locator. Instead, the Chunk Locator shows a blank white canvas and I am unable to select a chunk to edit:

If you still attempt to select a chunk and hit the "Open" button, no luck, the following error appears:

This seems to only happen in worlds that are 1.16.100+. Older worlds will still open properly.

Why is this happening and how do I fix it?

In minecraft I can't dig, I've been searching it up and I found it you have to change your world to Survival and it didn't work.

Is there any command to teleport me just 3 blocks behind a player? I haven't found any command to do this and there doesn't seem to be anything about this question, I'm quite sure that this could be done with the /execute command but I don't know how to it (I don't have much knowledge about the /execute command so this is why I'm asking this question) also I'm playing on 1.16

How do I evade the stream of bullets from a Kerberonyx

I'm having a bit of a hard time with one particular enemy type, I'm pretty sure it's the Kerberonyx. Big, orange and spews a long stream of red bullets.

I find evading their attacks to be particularly difficult. Dashing through it doesn't seem to work reliably, the stream of bullets lasts long enough that it'll usually hit me after dashing while the dash is still on cooldown. Just sprinting sideways also isn't fast enough when they sweep with their attack. The only thing that works somewhat for me is hiding behind pillars, but that isn't always possible.

Any tips on how to deal with this enemy type?

When you get to a certain level you can build the arena building. With this building, you can set custom scripts for auto mode for different characters.

SetWorldSpawn Below Surface in MCJE 1.16

I am currently trying to set the world spawn in a underground cave for my server(with /setworldspawn). However, when I tried /kill to test it, I ended up at the correct X and Z positions, however my Y level was at the surface. My friend recommended using beds, but I wanted new player to spawn there as soon as they join the server. Does anybody have a fix for this? Thanks!

How Can You See How Days Have Passed in Minecraft Bedrock?

Every time I connect to a premium server on my mac, it says that authentication servers are down. I asked my brother to join the same ip and he managed to get in. Me and my brother are on the same internet connection. I have no firewall. I tried doing the sudo nano /etc/hosts terminal but I see no lines mentioning "mojang".firewall is off

How to avoid the DirectX/Vulkan/32-bit selector when starting Hades?

Whenever I start Hades on Steam it asks whether I want to run the DirectX, Vulkan or 32-bit version. I always use the Vulkan version, and it would be great to not have to select this every time. Is there a launch option or something I can set to always run the Vulkan version?

One solution floating around is to move away the "x64" folder and rename the "x64Vk" to "x64", but people are reporting issues like the Steam overlay, achievements etc not working. Others are suggesting a launch option of "-vulkan", but that doesn't do anything as far as I can tell.

I see a lot of answers showing specific enemy resistance values against physical and elemental sources of damage, and I am wondering how or where they are getting this information. Is it even possible to tell what physical/elemental resistances an enemy will have in-game?

In Minecraft, the NBT (Named Binary Tag) format is used to store data of our Minecraft worlds, including block, entity, and item properties.

In the Java Edition of Minecraft, you can modify this data by including the data in the command, like so:

In the Bedrock Edition, on the other hand, NBT is inaccessible from commands. In order to modify NBT, we need to use an external editor.

Using /data to copy items from a player to a chest

Im trying to copy a players inventory to a chest upon death but noticed that it only copies the hotbar and the first two rows of the inventory.

Command:

/data modify block ~ ~ ~ Items set from entity @p Inventory

So now my plan is to copy certain parts of the inventory into two separate storage containers.

This has led to the problem where i am unable to select certain sections or specific items out if the player inventory and copy them into a chest.

I tried:

/data modify block ~ ~ ~ Items set from entity @p Inventory[{Slot:0b}]

/data modify block ~ ~ ~ Items set from entity @p Inventory.0

/data modify block ~ ~ ~ Items set from entity @p Inventory[0]

Let me know if there is something wrong with my code, or if I need to try a different approach.

How is a game I haven’t purchased on my home screen?

My kids just got very excited by the appearance of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on the home screen of the Switch, thinking I'd bought it for them while they were at school. I'm not that cool of a dad, and we don't own the game. If I select it, it asks to insert the game cartridge so it hasn't been purchased electronically.

It doesn't seem very Nintendo-ey to be advertising games this way, and I'm sure I'd have heard about it if they were.

Why did this game appear and can I remove it?

How to draw arrows in Lichess without beeing annoyed?

On https://www.lichess.org you can draw arrows (only visible for yourself) on the board during the game or during training. You can draw an arrow by holding the mouse button and right click from square A to B. Different colours are achievable when holding Alt (blue), Shift (Red), Alt+Shift (Gold). Here is my problem. Whenever I want to draw a red arrow, I press Shift and draw it, but the right click context menue opens when I release. Is there any way to prevent the context menue from opening?

I'm using Firefox 70.0 16-bit and Ubuntu 18.04.03 LTS.

Edit: Same thing happens on Windows 10 with the newest Firefox.

How come when my friend gets an invite in Minecraft PE it asks him if he wants to join the game but when I get an invite in Minecraft PE it doesn't tell me anything? Also my friend has an android and I have an iPhone.

In DotA2, why «cannot queue for matchmaking at this time»?

In DotA2, I cannot start a game. After pressing the find match button, I get a message:

Cannot queue for matchmaking at this time.

This happens for both normal games or ranked games.
I could not find anything about a hypothetical penalty, neither in the UI for starting a game nor on my profile.

  • Why does it happen?
    It is a penalty? It could have to do with abandoned games.
  • Can I see this state anywhere?
  • How long can I expect it to last?

My game client is up-to-date.

Sans Battle Plan?

I'm trying to beat Sans on Genocide. Needless to say, he's dunked on me for the 89th time at the time of writing this. I have the Burnt Pan and an inventory full of Legendary Heroes and one Steak. And sometimes, when he pulls you down and spikes his bones up, I still get skewered. Any advice?
