| Having issue when playing Smash Ultimate in dock Posted: 06 Feb 2022 03:38 AM PST I would be playing Super Smash Bros Ultimate on the dock and during gameplay the TV screen goes like a greyish black color like it disconnected BUT the music is still playing and going to the home page doesn't fix it. Please note this "bug" only happens while playing SSBU as I've tested with other games and this only happens when playing docked (TV mode). The TV screen doesn't show the "no signal" screen saver either and I'm not using a monitor. I'm suspecting an issue with my gamecard maybe. |

Recently, i have been experiencing problems which are being able to right-click and place blocks, but not break blocks. This had happened to me in EVERY single world, implying I wasnt in adventure mode, while other keybinds still work (keep in mind: I can left-click out of Minecraft but cant left-click inside Minecraft) but I cannot find a comfy keybind because left clicking is like, what i always do in mc to break and i never used other keybinds for that before, so the question is: is there any fix to not being able to break blocks in survival mode (ps. i have gone into survival mode and still haven't been able to break blocks) |

| Why were, and are, so many people "baffled" that Link's Awakening for Game Boy is so "big"? [closed] Posted: 05 Feb 2022 01:36 PM PST I have read this sentiment both in contemporary reviews and in current-day YouTube comments. It seems wide-spread. Basically, various people are baffled/amazed by how "such a big game" can possibly fit in the "little 8-bit Game Boy". As if it's somehow a technical marvel. I absolutely love the game, and am I in fact currently replaying it on my original Game Boy. It's an extremely well made classic, and one of the best games ever created for any platform. No doubt about it. And clearly, it feels way more "epic" than something like Dr. Mario or Alleyway. However, at the end of the day, on a technical level, we are just talking about a grid system of a pretty small number of different "tiles" that make up the world. Unless I'm lacking some fundamental knowledge, this is not in any way difficult to accomplish technically. The game was released in 1993, but way more "technically advanced" games were made in the following years up until the end of Game Boy's commercial life span. Just take the Donkey Kong Land series, for example. Not better games, but (most likely) much bigger in size/advanced/optimized. What would make people so impressed by the "size" of this adventure, just because it's on Game Boy? Are they confused about what "big" means? Am I confused about what they mean by "big"? I could easily make a Game Boy game with an unlimited number of game screens of auto-generated, bland content. Would that impress anyone? Probably not. Do they think that every "game screen" is stored on the cartridge in its entirety as a raw, uncompressed BMP image, rather than simply being a two-dimensional array of small integers referring to one of a small set of tiles? I don't understand why I keep hearing this and similar comments whenever a console is perceived as "not powerful" or even just "older than X years from now". It appears unfathomable to them how somebody could make a Game Boy game that isn't ultra-limited in scope and gameplay features, but where does that delusion come from? |
| Is there a way to disable fish schools in Minecraft? Posted: 05 Feb 2022 02:47 PM PST I'm creating an aquarium map in Minecraft, and when I build the tanks and fill them something really bothers me, Minecraft fishes even when of different species (tropical fish) tend to group themselves in schools of fish. I really don't like it since they keep colliding with one another and don't move at all, specially if it's a small tank. Does anyone know a mod/nbt tag, command or another way to solve this problem? |

| Resources packs are missing from the DLC page in Dead Space 3. How can I spend my ration seals? Posted: 05 Feb 2022 04:55 PM PST As you know, the game has a mechanism that allows you to earn ration seals. These seals can then be used to buy resources packs from within the game, which give the player with some resources and some "MK-V" parts to upgrade your weapons. The advantage being that the "MK-V" parts, unlike their normal counterparts, have extra stats bonus.
However, many PC players (both on Steam and off Steam) have experienced problems with the ration seals: they can't spend them. They're supposed to be purchasable with real money or with ration seals. But for some reasons, for many players, the ration seals don't appear among the list of DLCs anymore. Is there a way to fix this issue and spend ration seals to purchase resources packs as intended? |

| Minecraft server 25565 Refusing connection Posted: 05 Feb 2022 07:05 PM PST Here are the server properties: I have made many servers before, and have had them working. But for some reason my forge modded server is not working. When I use "canyouseeme.org" it says connection refused on port 25565. I have added exceptions in the windows firewall. Disabled the firewall and allowed all inbound and outbound traffic to pass through the domain, private and public networks. But it is still returning connection refused. I am running it on my laptop, and when I go to my desktop I cannot see the server running. However I can connect using Minecraft's 'direct connect' feature and will be able to login to the server and play. But cannot see it is up, nor can my friends play remotely. What is happening? I have port forwarded correctly and tripple-checked, even tried different ports to the same avail. Uninstalled my vpns (as they were blocking access to the router to port forward). I have restarted the laptop many times. What is blocking connections to the server? Any ideas? Thanks! |

How can I allowcate more RAM? I change RAM and it still uses 3GB RAM, I need to allocate 4GB RAM. |
| Changing the "drop all"/"drop stack" keybind in Minecraft Posted: 06 Feb 2022 01:00 AM PST I'm experimenting to find the most comfortable keybinds for me and I found that Ctrl would be perfect for dropping items. However Ctrl + [drop item key] drops the whole stack, which is also the case for Ctrl+Ctrl, meaning that I can't drop single items with this setup. Can I change the "drop all" keybind to something else? Anything goes, I'll even gladly install a mod if it allows that. |
| Pacman for PC does not persist high scores Posted: 05 Feb 2022 02:46 PM PST I used to play this game years ago and I recently found it again, so I decided to try it.
To my surprise, every time I lose and start another game, the previous score is not persisted, it's back to 0.
I don't actually remember if it was always like this, or if there is something wrong with this installer/version of the game. Does anybody know if it's possible for this app to persist the score locally (offline) between game (and app) restarts? Thanks EDIT: I downloaded it from https://qpdownload.com/pacman/ EDIT: When I played it years ago in Windows XP, the game did save the progress in a file called neavePacman.sol. |

Posted: 06 Feb 2022 03:00 AM PST Somewhere in gnembon's Simple Hostile Mob Farms, Minecraft 1.12 (Fun Farms Ep. 15) video he mentions difficulty and local difficulty but I cannot remember where in the video. In my 1.12 survival world I ran my build of his farm for an hour, getting about 4600 items/hr on Normal and about 6500 items/hr on Hard (regional difficulty 3.19, which is much lower than the max of 6.75). I ran the Normal test before the Hard test so the local difficulty may have changed slightly. Some of this effect might be due to pack spawning or just higher spawn rates. The answers from Advantages of hard mode in minecraft are outdated. I am looking for evidence based answers (tests, looking through game code), not hearsay or what the wiki says if it is unsourced. |

If a blue Yoshi licks up a Koopa Shell, it could temporarily grow wings until it is swallowed or spit out. If a red Yoshi licks up a Koopa Shell, it could spit it back out as a trio of fireballs. | Is there a list of all the required spirits I need to progress in World of Light? Posted: 05 Feb 2022 04:10 PM PST My inventory now has a ton of spirits, and a lot of these are duplicates in terms of abilities. For example, I have numerous Punch Attack ↑ support spirits, and I can see the value in stacking them, but for spirits like Immune to Poison/Lava/Sleep it seems pointless to bother hoarding multiple of the same. That said, there seems to be a required list of spirits I need? to progress through World of Light. As of 75% right now, I've cleared most but not all, and still have a few obscured sections. I'd like to know which spirits are required to progress in the story so I can get rid of duplicates that aren't those spirits. At least from what I can tell so far, I need:

| Minecraft Showing Different World Lists when Launched through Steam Posted: 05 Feb 2022 11:02 AM PST Recently, my computer has been acting quite strangely. My Minecraft saves list, server list and options menu have become bugged, and now display two different lists when either executed through Steam or not [I have linked Minecraft to Steam as a non-Steam game]. The 6 worlds on the longer list are my standard worlds, and used to load correctly when through Steam-related Minecraft and not. However, after a long while, neither of the Minecraft shortcuts displayed any worlds. I created 2 worlds for me and my friend to play on, as the old ones were seemingly removed [I should note that I can't access my %appdata% file, for some reason]. After about 3 weeks, I went back into Minecraft through Steam. When I looked through the saves, the 6 worlds were back. After that, I launched it regularly and it showed the 2 newer saves. This doesn't need to be solved, it's completely fine as it is, I'd just like an explanation if there is one. I cannot think of any reason why this is happening. There are two screenshots if you'd like further detail.

Is there a better way of getting iron or somehow automating the sieve? |

I am on a server so there is very little I can do about it. I am in creative mode. If I try to use the hotbar slot that it is in, I can't break blocks or interact with anything... can someone help me!?!? |

Posted: 05 Feb 2022 10:02 PM PST In most speed-running videos, the person playing the game will usually play the Japanese version, with or without any knowledge of understanding Japanese. Is there a reason why they do this? In particular, I am talking about traditionally Japanese games being speed ran, like Cave Story or Legend of Zelda. |
