When examing message ratings some appear to have a white glow and some have a golden glow which is a bit bigger then the white ones.

Too many Ender Dragons made The End very laggy

My son's friend put a pressure plate to spawn unlimited Ender Dragons. I have destroyed the plate and used the kill command /kill@e[type=ender_dragon] but the world is very laggy.

Is there any way to fix this?

Does Stealth Spray work while riding Basculegion?

The description for Stealth Spray says:

When used in the field, this spray muffles the sound of your footsteps and makes wild Pokémon less likely to notice you for a short time.

Does the Stealth Spray have any effect while swimming through the water with Basculegion? Or does it only work while on land?

I found this image of a meme which references a voice line in the game that mentions an "Italian Bistro". If Italy doesn't exist, how come Long Caster knows what "Italian" is?

Looking for a 2D Hack & Slash Medieval European/Asian Flash Game played back in 2009-2010 [closed]

I'm looking for a game I played back around 2009-2010. It was a 2D hack & slash game that involved traveling to various other kingdoms and conquering their cities. You could play as a hero from different kingdoms who favored different weapons, such as samurai, "middle-eastern", Mongolian, knights (might have been called Teutonics?), etc. I believe it had a weapon-upgrade system, or at least the ability to change to captured weapons, and might have had a potion system though I might be confusing that with another game. I think you could also recruit additional units to help you. It wasn't particularly hard, it was much more power-fantasy than it was tactical.

Restoring Minecraft PE world

My daughter had a Minecraft PE world saved in the Files app on an iPad. How can she restore it to a fresh reinstallation of Minecraft after the game was uninstalled? Note that she could not sign in to Microsoft and had to create a new account.

In Vampire Survivors, I've been mostly focusing on the Greed upgrade to help speed up my overall ability to upgrade by getting more coins, and then upgrading other things (extra damage/attacks/cooldown/etc). Considering that upgrading something will increase the cost of other related upgrades, as well as the ability to refund all upgrades at 100% cost, what is the most efficient way to buy every upgrade for the least amount of coins given that I have all upgrades unlocked?

Is Wordle always beatable under optimal play on easy mode (where you can guess any valid word)?

To put the question more formally, does there exist a deterministic computer program that can play Wordle successfully, without cheating, for every target word? Wordle is a deterministic game besides the hidden target word, and there is a known, finite list of target words, so this question should be decidable. An examination of Wordle's source code shows that there are 2,315 possible target words and 10,657 additional allowed guess words (12,972 total allowed guess words).

Bonus questions

(These are included in case an answer happens to have them; they are not necessary to answer the question.)

  • Is the answer different for easy mode (where you can guess any valid word) vs hard mode (where your guess has both be a valid word and match the clues you've been given so far)?

  • If there is such a program, what is the word it uses for it's first guess? (If the program is deterministic, it should always use the same opener)

  • What is the worst case performance of an optimal program (ignoring the 6 guess limit if there is no optimal program that always wins)?

ARK dedicated server without internet?

Is it possible on the same PC to host a server through ARK Server Manager, and play on that server without internet access?

Without internet, the server will not show up in ARK's server browser, even when filtered for LAN. Trying to join through Steam's server browser doesn't work either, the game starts up, then displays;

With internet I can join. My PC uses Ethernet.

Activate lever with command block?

I need to use a command block to activate a lever in Bedrock edition. I thought I could use /setblock but the syntax for Bedrock edition doesn't seem to support it:

/setblock <position> <tileName> [tileData] [replace¦destroy¦keep]

I ran into a similar issue with trying to set the state of a redstone lamp recently and discovered that we've been provided with a lit redstone lamp object to use instead. However, no such variant exists for the lever:

Story

During the course of the Story mode on Papers, Please, better apartments are offered to you at different points. Apartments don't serve any monetary advantage, and are only there to create some realism in the game.

Problem

There is already common knowledge of the earliest days each class of apartment becomes available, but depending on your current amount of money and previous decisions, sometimes new apartments aren't offered to you at the earliest they become available. Game documentation only states that new apartments become available "occasionally," but don't give any detail on that.

Core question

What is the criteria the game has in order to offer you better apartments, and what can I do to ensure that I will be offered a new apartment at the earliest point in time possible?

How to stop/pause/remove the game timer in games using a Cube 2 Sauerbraten engine?

I enjoy playing Banana Bread, and now am working on learning to edit and make my own maps. But with a 10 minute game timer, there's not a whole lot of time to make a ton of changes. Since Banana Bread uses a Cube 2 Sauerbraten engine, and can be controlled rather precisely if you know the correct command, I'm pretty sure there's a way to fix this. I just haven't found it yet, but maybe you have.

How can I stop/pause/remove the game timer games using a Cube 2 Sauerbraten engine?

What I mean by this is that after the timer would normally end, it instead keeps going and will allow me to edit the maps longer than normal. Ideal answer has a command I can type in or set of steps to accomplish this without downloading anything(I am on chromebook). Thanks!

Summoning projectile with motion

I have been trying this for two days and cant get anything. I just want a trident to move. I used motion tags, direction tags, power tags, and it just spawns and falls down, this is what I have so far and it doesn't work:

/summon minecraft:trident ~ ~3 ~ {Motion:[0,5,-10],Direction:[0,5,-10],Power:[0,5,-10]}

How can I go about getting my trident to move somewhere else?

Microsoft Code Connect with Minecraft Bedrock Edition?

A few weeks ago, I installed Code Connection on my Win 10 laptop, connected to Minecraft, and played around with the tutorials for a while. Now, when I try to use Code Connection, Minecraft just says "can't connect to server". My network has not changed -- and in any case, I'm connecting to localhost. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot?

I am doing the first tutorial and I can't even get through that. I am using a controller, and it's asking me to do all this camera stuff and it literally won't tell me how to, but instead shows me what i would have to do on keyboard and mouse.

And either way, I don't even have a numpad on my keyboard.

Can someone help? I thought since this is a Microsoft game it would go well with a xbox controller.

I prepared my Linux Mint usb, and it works fine. I downloaded minecraft, ran it fine, then i used the USB again today and it did not have minecraft on it anymore. I prepared the USB with rufus, and it has 64 gigabytes of storage, although only 3 are partitioned.

Stop fish spawning in a 1X1 block water tube

I have a tube system which carries loot with packed ice on the bottom and water to push it around quickly. This works very efficiently however I am getting an excessive amount of fish and dolphins spawning inside of the tube which I think limits the tubes ability to carry loot as well as make the game a bit laggy. I want to know if there are any ways of stopping the fish from spawning in the tubes or killing them effecgtively whithout removing the packed ice from underneath. The top and sides of the tube are currently made from glass. I'm aware that mobs can't spawn on magma blocks however I don't want to switch my ice for this - will replacing the sides with magma help? (don't want to set that all up for it to then fail). I have also tried placing sea pickles on source blocks but that hasn't done anything.

Can I (Xbox One) and my PS4 friend go in each other's worlds in any way?

I'm an avid Minecraft gamer on the Xbox One. My friend plays on the PlayStation 4. Is it possible for us to play on servers like Hypixel together? And if it is, can we go into each other's worlds if we add each other on such servers?

Also please tell me any way we can interact with each other from outside these servers. Can we use ANY method to go in each other's worlds?

How do I work around the game-breaking "Tomb of the Lost Adventurer" DLC bug (can't climb plane)?

I've had to restart this area three times now due to a bug that prevents completion - on the PC, if you burn the trees in the order that you're supposed to, the plane breaks incorrectly and you cannot complete the DLC.

I've found a few links (1, 2) that claim to have workarounds, but they're very unclear (eg. "Start with the right-most fire" does not help, as there are two rightmost fires!)

Also, apparently Eidos believes they fixed this issue, but they definitely have not, as I just today encountered it (PC, Steam version, latest update).

So, what order do I have to light the fires to work around this bug?

How does trading affect reputation with races?

I noticed that selling resources on race factories and buying equipment is improving reputation with this race.

How specific actions affect reputation:

  1. buying finished product on factory
  2. selling resource to factory*
  3. buying/selling wares on trading station
  4. buying weapons in equipment dock
  5. selling weapons in equipment dock*
  6. buying equipment in equipment dock*
  7. buying ships on shipyard
  8. selling ships on shipyard
  9. buying/selling shares on local stock exchange

* increased reputation in my game, but not every time.

How exactly does this change reputation? Does it depend on the quantity or price of wares? Does every transaction count or only the first one? How much do you need to trade to earn the best possible race reputation?
