Do the spawn chunks stay loaded across dimensions?

If I'm in the Nether or The End for examples, do farms in the spawn chunks stay running?

Rec room people automatic repawn in own flag game

I have created a typical capture the flag game but I have a strange bug. If I am the 1st player to enter the game (I have player ID 1) then thge game works well, all players can respawn. But if another player enters the game before me and I have player ID 2, then the other player dies and stays dead with a respawn timer of 0 seconds.

P.S. In case it helps you, it often creates new role chips when we start a game

Getting the name/id of a block using commands

I want to make a scale datapack in Minecraft, however to do that I need to know which block is currently being 'scanned'. Assuming there was a /whatblock command, I could then ideally do /execute as @e[tag=Small] store result entity @s HandItems string 1 run whatblock ~ ~ ~

Unfortunately, of course basically none of that works, both because Minecraft seems to hate string datatypes and because the /whatblock command doesn't seem to exist. I was playing with the idea of getting an Enderman to pick up the block, thus making it NBT data, but a. I don't know how to force an Enderman to do that and b. The Enderman would then need to pick up pretty much any block, including obsidian, making them extremely dangerous.

Currently, the only other option I can see is to make a giant list for every single block in Minecraft, then go If block ~ ~ ~ stone then set handitem to stone. If block ~ ~ ~ dirt then set handitem to dirt... etc As you can imagine, for each of the 3172 blocks in the game, I'd need a line of code, which would need to run for every single block in the reference build.

As such, any alternative would be greatly appreciated.

Do Heavy Ball variants work the same way in battle?

The intent of the Heavy Ball, Leaden Ball, and Gigaton Ball seems to be that they have a higher catch rate than the basic balls in exchange for a much shorter throwing arc, rewarding you for sneaking up right next to a Pokémon.

But if you engage in battle first, there's no aiming involved and distance isn't a concern, you simply automatically hit the target. Do the balls' increased catch rates still apply in this case? If so, does it mean those balls are always the best option for catching alphas or if you fail to sneak up on an aggressive mon?

Unable to toggle hitboxes

Here's the basics:
I'm on a Windows 10, playing on Minecraft Java Edition, 1.16.1 When I press any other Debug command (That consists of Fn + F3) EXCEPT for Fn + F3 + B, it works. Pressing Fn + F3 + B does... nothing.

The B key works perfectly fine when I'm typing, I looked around everywhere on how to enable hitboxes, and everyone just said, "Press F3 + B". There IS one person unable to turn on hitboxes here, but I didn't find any helpful pointers.

Does anyone have the same problem, and what are the possible reasons for this problem? I can give more information if needed.

Can I print to a log file or chat when an event occours?

I am trying to troubleshoot a shulker farm design.

This farm works flawlessly in vanilla, but on the server where I play, that uses paper, it breaks within minutes.

I am planning to set up a paper instance on my machine to try and "debug" the situation.

Is there a way to print to a log file or chat every time a (specific) shulker is damaged? (the print command would have to say what was the damage source as well)

Can I use Steam Family Sharing with five user accounts plus one account per game?

This is a follow-up to a question from 2010: Can I create one steam account per game? Since then, Steam introduced Family Sharing, which significantly changes things.

The idea is to resolve the contention introduced by the requirement that Steam libraries can only be shared in their entirety and to one person at a time. It's clearly not the intended usage, but I'm not clear about whether it's legally or morally wrong or even just impractical.

To do this, I would create one account for each game purchase. Steam will let me use the same email address for multiple accounts, but wildcards like Gmail +-addresses would also work. I can then use these accounts to family share each game to 5 different accounts. I would not be sharing my password, but either logging in physically or using a remote desktop connection.

Does Valve care to stop this? Is it against the terms and conditions? Is there a limit to the number of accounts shared to a given user or machine? A limit to the number of accounts by IP? What are the pain points here beyond the initial setup and sharing?

Can I upload full playthroughs onto YouTube?

Is it OK to post long gameplay (playthroughs) captured videos on YouTube, of games such as: Outlast, Outlast 2, WoW, Among Us, Cattails, Dead Space, etc.

Or are these videos going to be removed from YouTube and the channel penalized?

Or are some games/companies OK with people posting playthroughs, while other games/companies are actively against it? And if so, which ones are OK with it?

Problems with putting a saddle on a skeleton horse

I had a skeleton horse trap occur in my world and killed off the other skeletons and horses. I tried to tame the skeleton horse and once I get on it, it does respond to my controls but it seems super slow and unlike any other horse I've ridden in the game. I also can't open the "horse" inventory and equip a saddle. Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Note: I'm using the free education edition since I'm still considering buying the game. (It's free with a school account)

I installed Minecraft before getting my 1TB SSD, and now I want to move it. My C drive is very low on space and I'm trying to keep it free of games. Is there any way I can completely move Minecraft to another drive with all my data intact?

I'm on windows 10 right now.

Having trouble joining friends world in Minecraft PE using wifi

I'm trying to play with my friend and were running into some difficultly. Both our wifi's are connected to the same network, literally right beside each other. We both have multiplayer on. We both have the newest update of Bedrock. Neither of us can connect to each other's worlds. We have even tried on different devices. When I go to my settings in my world it says friends of friends, but won't let me change it, saying I need to sign in to my Microsoft account. Well, my friend and I don't have a Microsoft account, or we couldn't sign at the moment... but I'm pretty sure all you really need is the same wifi connection, right? I'm having some real trouble and it would mean the world to me if you could help!

I've played Skyrim five times now, and this is my sixth playthrough. This is the first time I've joined the Stormcloaks instead of the Empire. I heard that it could affect who sells you land, so I thought that was worth mentioning. Anyway, I've become a Thane and talked to the Jarl's husband- whom i thought I was supposed to talk to- but the option doesn't appear for me to buy land. Why? Can I do this?

I've played GTA IV - TBOGT Single Player on PC for a long time. But this thing is new to me.

The event:

I am roaming in Alderney with a six star wanted level. When I continue killing cops and destroy everything, a NOOSE Annihilator started to shoot missiles at me. I never encounter this event. After reloading and starting a new six star chase and destroying many choppers, It never happened again.

So, How can I trigger the NOOSE Annihilator to shoot missiles at me?

What is an easy way to get bones in Minecraft?

How should I go about getting bones? I only use them for bonemeal for my crops. I'm terrible at fighting the skeletons and almost always die! How can I kill them without dying myself?
