How does the original Super Mario Bros. load level data?

I understand how the 'minus world' glitch works, and that there are hundreds of other levels. What I can't find much of is how the game actually loads level data. Where is the information for the 7-2 clone in 36-1 coming from? Why are some other inaccessible levels just infinite pits?

There is an armorstand on one of the red regions. How to count blocks that are including to the region the armorstand stands on? The result has to be stored to a scoreboard. Red regions can have any shape and size.

How do I play S.A.W. vs Rebels in Super Animal Royale?

I'm on switch and want to try this gamemode but I can't find it. It's not listed with the other gamemodes (solos, duos, squads, bwoking dead). Does it require season pass or something, or is it not on the switch version? Or am I just missing it?

90m/s enough for Eve encounter in KSP? (reading delta-v maps)

I'm trying to understand this cool delta-v map, in particular I don't get how 90m/s delta-v should be enough to go from a transfer orbit to an Eve encounter:

In my attempt, I go to a transfer orbit by burning straight up against Kerbin's orbit until I get an escape:

This escape burn already gives us about half the required orbital transfer to Eve:

But it's not even close to the 90m/s that is allegedly sufficient for an encounter. For that, I need about 400m/s:

Can I Activate Wormholes and Gateways in Federation/Vassal territory in Stellaris

Despite having wormhole stabilization and gateway repair technologies, I don't have any of either in my territory. I do have Vassals and Federation allies with both though.

I've sent a Science Vessel to the Wormhole and a Construction Vessel to the Gateway, but no new controls or options have appeared anywhere. Am I missing something would the options only be available in my territory?

I have two custom entities. I want that when A bumps into B, A will start riding B (sort of like passengers with /summon command). How would I code that? I tried looking into boat mechanics but I didn't understand much.

EDIT: I forgot to mention a pretty important element: I am coding a Fabric mod.

Why does the Diamond and Pearl sound library only have "Trainers' Eyes Meet"-s for only some of the trainer types in the game?

From Disc 1, I see Ace Trainer, Cyclist, Hiker, Lass, Twins, and Youngster. Disc 2 has Aroma Lady, Artist, Black Belt, Collector, PI, Sailor.

So what about the other types, such as Rich Boys, Officers and Tubers? What music plays when their eyes are met?

How to save my online game progress in case of corruption (Poki.com) [closed]

I play a few online games on poki.com, and all my progress data (like guns, upgrades, etc) are stored in my Chrome cache.

My question is simple: How do I save this cache if I want to switch computers or in the event that my Chrome profile gets screwed up (has happened many times before)?

I've tried looking through the forums and other places but I haven't found a working or applicable solution to my unique circumstance.

Command block says "get off the grass" if a player is on grass next to it

I want to make it so when any player comes onto the grass block the command block tells them to get off I think my problem is a misunderstanding of how the syntax works and how command blocks "communicate" with each other enter image description here

The bottom command block: Impulse Unconditional Always active

execute if entity @a[distance=..15] run say "working?"  

The top command block: Repeat Conditional Always active

execute as @a if block ~ ~-1 ~ minecraft:grass_block run say "off the grass"  

How to download curse Forge? [closed]

I play on mobile and I'm struggling to download and keep up with my friends. My iPad is iOS 10.9.1.

I have App Store (not Microsoft store) and also I have issues looking inside the files. I have none of the apps required to download it. I have the space and storage to download.I'm trying to get mods

Cities:Skylines - How to identify assets a saved game actually uses?

When a saved game (from the Steam Workshop) lists thousands of assets (untrue), how do you determine which assets it actually uses?

You know Cities:Skylines supports user-generated assets in the workshop. You can "subscribe" to them and they will appear in your game menus. I see saved games on the Steam workshop all the time, that load correctly except for one key asset like a missing road or sewage plant. If you load the game, there will be a hole where a chunk of highway should be.

Like this save-game. Normally I go over to the opening screen's Content Manager, and see which assets the game uses, and subscribe them. This doesn't tell me which asset is the road, so I have to take a few I don't care about. But then there's this game.

Bullpuckey! The game loads fine, except for 1 Workshop road asset. (no, it's not Network Extensions, I have that). It's not actually using 1,976 assets (you would notice that many missing), and anyway, this game is only a fix of this other game that only "has" 79 assets (and I have those loaded since I'm playing that one).

... So clearly. This number has nothing to do with the assets actually used in the save. This "monster list" is nothing more than a list of all the assets the author hapened to be subscribed to at the time of the save. If the author started a new game and built 1 plain road segment and saved, it too would "have" 1,976 assets despite having no assets at all.

I want to load this save game, but I do not want to install 1,976 assets.

So here is my question: How do I "separate the wheat from the chaff" as it were? How do I identify the 9 assets out of 1976 actually used by either game, or the 1 asset I am missing?

Or alternately, is there another way to resolve this? Can I tell the system to "load on the fly" assets that are actually missing?

What determines operational task replacement cost?

Patch 0.12.12.15.4 introduced a method to reroll operational tasks, usually resulting in a different task. The patch notes do clarify that subsequent replacements will be more expensive (emphasis mine):

Added the ability to replace an operational task in the trader quest menu. The replaced task will be considered failed. The cost of each subsequent replacement will increase until the task's completion timer runs out

Last week, my first replacement was about 40k rubles, the second somewhere in the 100k rubles area, the third about 250k rubles. Today my first replacement is 30k, the second closer to 3M:

Operational task replacement cost: ₽ 2712995

The exact amounts are likely changing depending on the base value of the task in question, which in turn appears to be based off my completion history and/or level. But the continuous, now 100-fold increase, only starting with the second replacement per day, seems to be a separate pattern.

Something is adding to my cost well beyond those replaced task's completion timer. Is there any consistent logic behind cost modifiers and their expiry?

How to set other player's armor in Minecraft

I'm making an MCBE behavior pack which adds kits via functions (functions are to be executed by command blocks). I want to make it so that the player doesn't have to equip armor; instead, it automatically slots the armor into the required places. I don't know any sort of command for that, and I can't find anything through Google.

Is holding attack or mashing attack the better strategy?

When auto-attacking, what is the best strategy for damage output?

Mashing the attack button usually deals less damage than the attack done by holding the attack button down, but not that much and usually it comes with a noticeable wind up and/or wind down animation. And through all that you are also subject to interrupts that force you to start the combo over.

So usually, what is the best strategy? To mash attack, or to hold attack?

Where in Tarkov can I find the WZ Wallet?

Fence has sent me to collect a few "hard to find" items, most of which were not too hard to guess where they would be found. Except one. The WZ Wallet. The description says

The same as any simple wallet, but fancier.

I found the food items together with other foodstuff, the antiques in buried caches and the figurines in safe boxes. But the wallet is puzzling me, there does not seem to be an obvious place for it to be found at, except maybe safe boxes (because it is about valuables), but I think I tried enough of those to rule out that option.

I am starting to wonder whether I may be missing some knowledge about the person - WillerZ - the item is dedicated to that is required to understand where or how the item is at least somewhat likely to be seen.

People says October Treat. It's an S card. But Shroom's Grace heals for 120 and adds 40 shield. Seems like a much better bargain.

What is "Anemo" "nut cracker"

In Axie Infinity, I saw some axies have body parts that are like "anemo" or "nut cracker"

What the hell is that? Take a look at that.

Is that a type of body parts? Also it seems that it's a type of body parts for several body parts. For example, nut crackers can be a body part of both mouth and tail.

Also why is nutcracker always yellow? Doesnutcracker only show up in beast? Or is it associated with beast type?

It seems that axies can have multiple body types. How does that work?

So, I'm using Mojang's guide as well as a YouTube video to help me set up this server; I've been told that in the start.txt file, you can set up how much memory is used during/after startup by pasting Java -Xms512M -Xmx3.5G -jar server.jar (I changed the original minecraft_server.jar to just server.jar as that's what mine's labeled). It ran the 1.16.4 version of Minecraft, but I'm not sure why it keeps issuing a Can't keep up! Is the server overloaded? Running [x]ms or [y] ticks behind error/warning.

I just want to be able to play on my own on this sever, nevermind having others try and join (one step at a time). If anyone could help me out, or point me to a post that clearly points out that I'm having an issue someone has already had before, that would be great/

If there's also a comprehensive guide on how to setup Vanilla servers (I know a bit about computers, so it's okay if it's not for beginners) I'd greatly appreciate it.

Why do my armor plates only insert 1 even when I'm holding down the armor plates button?

I'm using PC and at some point something changed in my setup so that when press and hold the bottom to insert my armor plates (F10 on my machine), it will insert just 1 plate. In the past, if I pressed and held the button, it will keep inserting plates until I was full, but at some point it stopped doing this.

What setting should I change to get this feature back?

Villagers Keep Destroying my Crops (Bedrock 1.14)

My villagers don't trample my crops but recently, they've been trying to harvest them like the crops are their own and it's extremely annoying because they often replace my crop with a completely different one! I tried to prevent that from happening by putting iron doors in the outsides of all my structures but somehow a few of the learned how to open the doors so the problem continues. I have resorted to killing some of the villagers but I don't want to have to kill some of my higher level villagers because they have some very useful trades I can take advantage of for my next big projects in that particular survival world. I play on bedrock edition 1.14 on Xbox so the villagers really have better trades. Also, I had expanded my village by adding 20+ small cube buildings in hopes to having more villagers to trade from (which worked but overpopulation has caused many issues such as this one). Now, with having twice the amount of villagers as before, there are also that many more iron golems. What do you guys propose I do? I have had to make multiple modifications already to more than one of my farming facilities. I want to know if any of you can come up with an easier solution than than destroying all the extra buildings I made and killing over half the villagers and fighting the now 6 iron golems.

How can I make a kit that has Unbreakable Items in it?

I'm trying to make kits with Unbreakable Items in it for my Kit PvP server.

To make the items Unbreakable, I use this command:

 /give (Name) minecraft:(item) 1 0 {Unbreakable:1}  

For proof that the command worked, I hovered over the item and it clearly said Unbreakable at the bottom of the lore. For example:

Unbreakable

Problem is, when I do /createkit, it transfers the item but not the Unbreakable effect.

When I hover over the item after I create the kit, it does not say Unbreakable at the bottom of the lore. Again, for example:

Not Unbreakable when I did /kit

Skyrim - Companions attacked me for no reason?

So, I was using Eorland Gray-Manes forge without causing any harm and all of a sudden I see loads of red dots on my map and it was the Companions and then even Eorland started attacking me. The Guards didn't do anything but cheered: "A Fight!" I even saw Vignar Gray-Mane attack me too. I have a bounty but it wasn't in Whiterun.

At what portion of the game will Brute Splicers stop appearing?

The "Research Camera" article at the BioShock wiki states:

Brute Splicers stop appearing for a portion of the game, although they re-appear near the end, so it is important to research them sooner rather than later.

I would like to make sure to fully research Brute Splicers before they stop appearing (as they'll only appear again near the end of the game).

At what portion of the game will Brute Splicers stop appearing? (Before they re-appear near the end of the game.)

Note: Can't find any info about this at the "Brute Splicer" article at the BioShock wiki.

Are there NPCs that can charge my items in Skyrim?

I'm currently roleplaying non-caster character, who strictly avoids casting any spells. That means I cannot charge any soul gems by myself. Are there any NPCs that can charge my magic items for me?
