| How does the Pheromones status effect affect the Nemesis? Posted: 19 Jun 2022 11:21 AM PDT The Scout's Pheromone Canister grenade as well as their crossbow weapon can apply the Pheromones status effect. The Nemesis can grab the hologram from the Engineer's L.U.R.E grenade. The hologram is also attacked by other enemies. By default only the dwarves, Doretta and the hologram seem to be hostile from the point of view of the enemies, and they are the only things they attack (for example they never attack Bosco, Doretta or the Engineer turrets). However, the Pheromones status effect seems like it can turn enemies hostile from the point of view of enemies. If this also affects the Nemesis then it may make the crossbow a decent choice for Rival Presence missions. When affected by Pheromones, does the Nemesis grab or at least attempt to grab other enemies, if the effect can be applied to it at all? |
| Where are the .w3d files stored in Command and Conquer Generals Shockwave v. 1.2? Posted: 19 Jun 2022 11:00 AM PDT A while ago I downloaded FinalBig.exe and I started messing around switching weapons, changing vehicles speed, cost, damage, etc for Command and Conquer Generals Shockwave. Now recently I learnt a bit of Blender, and I made an aircraft. I found there is a plugin for Blender which allows to export to .w3d , so I wanted to put that 3d aircraft model into the videogame. I've seen a video about modding Command and Conquer Generals in general (not specific to modify Command and Conquer Generals Shockwave), and they talk about placing the models in an art folder and other folders I dont see anywhere in Command and Conquer Generals Shockwave. Where can I find the folder the .w3d files are stored in Command and Conquer Generals Shockwave v. 1.2? |
| Is it possible to disable hints? Posted: 19 Jun 2022 10:13 AM PDT Neon White is all about trying to beat levels as fast as possible, and part of that fun is discovering the fastest route. However, after getting unlocking Insight 2 the game starts showing you hints on how to complete every level. That's great and all, but I'd rather figure out the routes myself, and only rely on the hints if/when I feel I need them. I checked in the options menu and couldn't find anyway to turn hints off, although I could be missing something. Is it possible to disable hints in Neon White? |

How do these detection perks work against The Dredge, specifically when they are in a locker or in transition towards a locker? Example:
When, if ever, does my Spine Chill activate? Does it activate while the Killer is in transition, so once they are close enough to me my Spine Chill activates and I can decide not to lock the locker, or does it activate only once they have actually arrived inside the locker? Does it work the same for Premonition? I.e. will it trigger only once the Killer has arrived in the locker or can I detect the Killer while they are transitioning? |

And it seems if I've earned a card too far in the past, I can't see the image anymore, and that only that section of the client reveals an image. |

I'm following this thread for answers, specifically this answer about internet connection sharing. I've tried setting it up following tutorials, but I can't seem to get it work. I'm using my pc as the source, which has a motherboard with wireless and wired internet capabilities. Is there something I am missing in getting this to work? |

| I don't know where to go next in Elden Ring! How do I find out? Posted: 19 Jun 2022 12:57 PM PDT The story telling in FromSoft games is cryptic at best, but in Elden Ring, you seem to need to talk to the NPCs just to figure out where to go next. The issue is, a lot of them are hard to find and easy to miss, and even if you do find them, you gotta be paying attention to what they're saying - because they do not repeat themselves. It's at this point that I'm keeping a journal to keep track of what everyone has said, and where they are so that I know where I should be going. Is there an easier way to manage this? An NPC I should talk to to find out where I need to go next? (I want to keep my first playthrough wiki-free if I can) EDIT: to give an example, the Glintsone Key is a fairly important item that needs to be found in order to progress through the game. I can follow the trails from the sites of Grace, but it won't get me through the gate(s) to the Academy, nor point me to the Item(s) I need in order to progress. A couple of NPCs mention a Glintstone Key, but I was either not paying attention when they first mentioned it, or they didn't give any clues as to its whereabouts. I had to ask a friend for clues. PS: I am playing offline, so I cannot rely on messages left by other players. |
| I'm a werewolf but suddenly the game gave me vampire powers Posted: 19 Jun 2022 06:04 AM PDT I am a werewolf, and I finished the Dawnguard DLC a while ago. But as I was going through a ruin, my game started giving me notifications as if I were a vampire. I never got notified that I contracted the disease and my eyes don't glow but now my blood boils in the sunlight and I have Vampire's Seduction and Vampire's Thrall. I can still transform into a werewolf and if I go into the game stats and look at the "days as a vampire" stat it never changes even as several days have gone by. I've tried to trigger the Rising at Dawn quest by talking to Falion and there isn't even an opportunity. I've also used a Cure Disease potion as soon as I noticed the sunlight thing and when that didn't work, I tried using the Shrine of Talos in Whiterun... Is there any saving this or am I just screwed? Has anyone else had this problem? Will it impact my save data? |

Posted: 19 Jun 2022 07:06 AM PDT I've currently got the Witcher 3 main game on Steam and I'd like to install the two DLCs. Is it possible to purchase (legal) activation keys via a different website (given that games are often cheaper outside Steam) and to enter them via the "Activate a Product on Steam" box? I know that this is easy to do with standalone games, but I'd like to check that it works with DLCs as well. Thanks! Edit: I see that most websites sell GOG keys, which probably aren't compatible with Steam. Could I buy the GOTY edition on GOG and transfer the saves? |

| Minecraft Server Failed to connect Posted: 19 Jun 2022 03:04 AM PDT Im trying to set up a minecraft server on a centos 7 vm so that my friends and I can play. I've been following a guide on how to set it up and was able to make it all the way through until the actual connecting to the server part. I've made sure there is a port exception for 25565, and when I use ss -natu it shows the the port is listening for a connecting from java... though everytime I try to connect I keep getting the io.netty.channel.abstractchannel$annotatedconnectexception connection timed out error. Not sure if I dont have the firewalld set up properly or if something else is the matter. Thanks for reading and any help is much appreciated! If you need more info just ask and I will try to get it to you as quick as possible. |
| Window loses cursor lock when using media controls Posted: 19 Jun 2022 09:04 AM PDT I'm running league of legends on debian (don't ask why), and whenever I use media controls (for example play/pause, next/previous track), the game loses the cursor lock, which makes it impossible to properly control the camera in game. How can I avoid this (other than not using media controls)? Anyone with any experience with this? |

Neither do I find ways to enter the game menu once I have loaded a game. Now I always seem to have to restart the whole thing. There must be a better way, either to load the latest save game directly, or a way to get to the menu. Does anyone know how this can be done? |

Posted: 19 Jun 2022 09:50 AM PDT My brother and I share the same PC, but we each have our own Steam accounts. Before Steam mobile authentication was introduced, we did the good old trick of adding the Now, with the mobile authentication, we have to enter a mobile code each time one of us logs in, regardless of whether or not we use two different shortcuts. The only way to overcome this is by checking the "remember me" box, but this will only work if you've one account, because once you log out, it will ask for the code next time you log in. Is there anyway to overcome this by making Steam remember the PC or something? It truly is stressful to be forced to have my mobile on me whenever I need to use Steam. |
| Posted: 19 Jun 2022 11:06 AM PDT I've been playing GTA V online for a while after I installed the game I took it out. When I put in GTA V after playing something else it took me to story mode. I tried loading GTA online, but it says I need to be connected to PSN, which I am. I've tried uninstalling the game and update then reinstalling and I also tried restarting my ps3 and my Wi-Fi modem but nothing worked. Could there be something wrong with the Rockstar servers or is it my ps3? |

Some of them can't be used from the spells menu and in the Wizard's Companion they appear with dark background but without any special explanation why they can't be used. Everything I found points that it's a lost cause and those spells can't be used, period. For example:
But I refuse to give up. Maybe if you finish the game 3 times or do something spectacular? Those spells are just too great to be just a tease! Any official information would be welcome. |
| Is there anyway to stop a download on Steam? Posted: 18 Jun 2022 11:07 AM PDT Steam recently started downloading an update for Super Monday Night Combat. Remembering the fact that the game never ran properly for me, and that I was unable to ever find any fix, I impatiently paused the download and deleted all local files from my computer. The problem is, Steam is still trying to download the update. I've already restarted Steam. Even tried to uninstall the game completely, but it's still trying to download this update! I'd rather avoid having to hunt down the specific files and remove them manually. Is there any way I can force this download to stop? |
