How To: Set player spawn to the PREVIOUS point?

Situation: Java vanilla server. Three players. Full-size map. One of the players sets their spawn to a bed. The bed breaks (for X reason), the player dies before they can set a new spawn point, and is sent to world spawn.

Twist! World spawn is a chamber under the world where the player appears above, landing on a pressure plate activating a command block to teleport them back to their PREVIOUSLY recorded spawn location. In this case, the noted bed that was destroyed.

Twist 2: Electric Twistaloo!! I'm trying to get the command to recognize WHICH player activates the plate and teleport them to their specific previously recorded spawn point.

Does MC keep a bed, which was been set as a spawn point, location, even after the bed has been broken?

If yes, where might a person find this data?

And more importantly, is there a way for a command to recognize WHICH specific player activates the command.

I'm trying to redownload Minecraft by deleting it but it keeps saying I can't move it to trash because it's open

I'm on a 13" Macbook Air. I used to use the regular launcher but I couldn't open it anymore so I started using Lunar Client. Then I messed up my controls (I accidentally set my screenshot keybind to Left-Click) so I'm currently trying to redownload Minecraft to fix that issue. But whenever I try to move the Minecraft file to the trash it gives me an error message saying, "The item "Minecraft" can't be moved to the Trash because it's open.". enter image description here

When I try to right-click on Minecraft to see if I can force quit it there's no option. Everything looks as if it's not open at all. enter image description here

There is a rotating red room where turning parts of the room makes bridges appear and disappear. I've tried rotating for a while, but I can't figure out how to solve the puzzle.

Do "sky" pokeballs have any other use other than catching flying pokemon?

The "sky" pokeballs (feather/wing/jet) seems to only work on pokemon you see in the field that are flying in the air. Throwing them at pokemon on land or in sea does nothing and it just bounces off of whatever you throw it at.

I have tons of Sky Tumblestones and crafted a bunch hoping I could use it like any pokeball but I can't find any other uses.

Is there anything else I can do with these pokeballs?

I'll probably sell most of them off if there's no other point in keeping them. I barely see any flying pokemon anyway.

Can the /structure Minecraft command be used to transfer saved structures from one world to the other?

How are Seasonal Adventure points obtained in Minecraft Dungeons?

Seasonal Adventures are themed events in Minecraft Dungeons. Completing weekly challenges let you earn Adventure Points to unlock rewards.

So far so good.

According to Minecraft official site:

Adventure Points are gained through regular gameplay or by completing weekly challenges in the game. Adventure Points and Adventure Rank must be gained through gameplay and cannot be purchased.

Now, I get that completing a weekly challenge gives me Adventure points, of course. But what exactly "regular gameplay" mean? Do I get points while "filling" the challenge progress bar? Do missions count towards that? Or maybe opening chests?

I don't understand what's the better way to gain points besides the challenges. We only get 5 of them weekly, it looks like a very long journey to level 50...

Any hint?

Unable to have wired Xbox 360 style controllers recognized by Android 5 (Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2)

I've got the Samsung Note Pro tablet on the latest android 5.0.2

I've got 2 gamepads which work on the Xbox 360 and when I try to use them on the tablet none of them are recognized.

I've followed all guides I've found around in this and other sites talking about the subject and:

  • I've got a root device
  • I've been able to find the Vendor and ProdID of both by looking into `/sys/kernel/debug/usb/devices'
    • both of the USB wired controllers appear there
      • gamepad 1 = vendor 0738, prodID 4738
      • gamepad 2 = vendor 1bad, prodID f025
  • So I've created the following files with the config of an Xbox 360 controller:
    • /system/usr/keylayout/Vendor_0738_Product_4738.kl
    • /system/usr/keylayout/Vendor_1bad_Product_f025.kl
  • Just in case, I tried with and without the following too:
    • /system/usr/keychars/Vendor_0738_Product_4738.kcm
    • /system/usr/keychars/Vendor_1bad_Product_f025.kcm
  • All of those have the right 644 rw-r--r-- permissions

After all changes, rebooting and reconnecting... still, none of the 2 controllers are recognized by this Android tablet.

I checked the following with each of them plugged in, and they were not appearing as connected:

  • /proc/bus/input/devices

Any idea what the problem could be? Or what else could I try? Most guides talk about the .kl files above and they say it should work, but in this case, it doesn't... any other suggestion?

Connection Lost to Host upon attemping to join Dedicated Server hosted in Azure

I setup (or I am trying to setup) a dedicated server for Satisfactory. It is running on an Azure hosted Windows 10 virtual machine. I downloaded the dedicated server using SteamCMD and followed the guide found on the Satisfactory Wiki.

I am at the point where I enter the IP address of the server into the Satisfactory game client, and authenticate. That part seems to work, as the screen correctly shows the information about the save game that the server loaded. However, when I attempt to join, a loading screen briefly appears, and then I get a message saying that the connection to the host has been lost and I am retuned to the main menu of the game.

When I attempt to join (or my friend attempts to join), the server log shows some messages similar to that of this reddit post:

LogNet: Error: IsClientMsgTypeValid FAILED (40): Remote Address = ::ffff:127.0.0.1  [150]LogNet: Error: Failed to read control channel message ''  [150]LogNet: Error: UControlChannel::ReceivedBunch: Failed to read control channel message  [150]LogNetTraffic: Error: UChannel::ReceivedRawBunch: Bunch.IsError() after ReceivedNextBunch 1  [150]LogNetTraffic: Error: Received corrupted packet data from client ::ffff:127.0.0.1. What could be going on? I believe I correctly forwarded the necessary ports and configured the firewall appropriately as noted here in the guide on the wiki, so I am not sure what else could be happening.

I don't know where to find the external IP I've heard about for Minecraft Java multiplayer, because I have friends I want to play with that live half a state away and whenever I open to LAN it only shows the port number in the chat.

I am playing a Minecraft: Education Edition world and I want to make it so 1 player is the monster and the rest are runners. The ideal result would be the monster turns invisible then reappears in front of another player and then while that player is looking at the monster while not invisible they take damage and are slowed. Is there a way to do this?

Do Heavy Ball variants work the same way in battle?

The intent of the Heavy Ball, Leaden Ball, and Gigaton Ball seems to be that they have a higher catch rate than the basic balls in exchange for a much shorter throwing arc, rewarding you for sneaking up right next to a Pokémon.

But if you engage in battle first, there's no aiming involved and distance isn't a concern, you simply automatically hit the target. Do the balls' increased catch rates still apply in this case? If so, does it mean those balls are always the best option for catching alphas or if you fail to sneak up on an aggressive mon?

Can I check for the entity a guardian is aiming at?

I want to give guardians a special ability to pull players toward them with their beam, can I somehow check for this? So I simply want to check for any existing beam, from there on out I can figure things out myself if I need to.

Edit: since beams are apparently rendered client-side, I'll change my question to: can I check for the entity a guardian is aiming at? Thanks to @54D in the comments for telling me this.

MMA2 won't load song file (Beat Saber)

Every time I click the "Edit Level" button it gives me this message, I have tried anything and everything I can think of. I have also discovered that when I try to delete or rename the song file it crashes file explorer, any ideas?

Unable to connect to FACEIT CS:GO servers.No AV,no firewall,good network connection

I'm new to faceit and almost each time I want to play I'm forced to join a server(mostly german ones,while I live in middle-east) which is unreachable for me.I can ping the server of course but I get retrying public(...) messages in console and finally fail to join the match,an as the result I get AFK bans each time(now 18 hours,for something that I've no control over it,it's just painful)

I've whitelisted FACEIT and CS:GO in Win10 firewall config,I've no active AV,my internet connection is fairly good,and I asked my ISP and they said they don't block any port.

I tried scanning the CS:GO ports of one of those servers via Nmap and all of them are filtered...

I've reported this multiple times to FACEIT and got no response.asked this on their subreddits,no luck

Any idea?

Loaded chunk visibly disappears when in one chunk but appears in the next?

In my minecraft world I have a villager trading hall, and I can see all of it except for one chunk when I'm standing outside of it. Once I go into the chunk however, I can see the chunk again. It's not a render distance problem because I've turned it all the way up to 24 chunks and I still couldn't see just the one chunk. I've also tried F3 + A to reload the chunks and I've tried restarting minecraft but nothing seems to work. This also happens in part of the staircase down to my mine. Why does Dolphin Emulator randomly freeze?

for some reason, when I was playing Dolphin 5.0, my game (Super Mario Galaxy 2 but this happens with all games) randomly freezes. I don't know what happened and there were no answers for how to fix this on the web (and yes I know I should upgrade to the dev versions but they are super buggy and unstable so yeah). Can someone help me please :-)?

How is Score Per Minute calculated in COD Warzone?

I play the plunder game mode in COD Warzone.

In one game I played I got 13 kills and collected 1.3million, the majority of it from drops when I got kills. The score I got was 6393.

Another game I collected 750k and had 2 kills. The majority of cash came from loot boxes. My score was 5650.

I won both games.

Is there a way to find out how score is calculated in a game?

I purchased the Windows 10 Minecraft for Xbox, can I play it on Windows 7 pc?

How can I remove items with custom tags from a players inventory in 1.14?

I have no problem giving a player an item with a custom tag, and I have no problem detecting that item with the specific tag, my issue is running the clear command for that specific item AFTER detecting the item in the player's inventory.

Here is the command to give the player the item:

/give @a minecraft:written_book{LostBoy:1b,title:"Quest: Lost Boy",author:"Easy Quest",generation:0,pages:['{"text":"=====LOST BOY=====\\n\\nEdgar\'s son has gone missing! He was last seen heading to the coal mine West of town. \\n\\nObjective: Investigate the coal mine West of the CrestGaurd slums."}']} 1

Here is the command I'm having issues with, the first part is detecting the book (I've confirmed this through testing with "say" outputs), but the "clear" command will not clear the specific book!

Securing my PS4 data before lending it

Soon, I'll be unable to use my PS4 for a few weeks. So I've offered to lend my console to my brother-in-law.

I've decided the following:

  • He may play my games (both disc and downloaded).
  • He may not use my saves.
  • He may not use my credit card.
  • He can use my online accounts like Netflix if I don't have to give him my passwords.

Of course when I'm getting my console back, I want to get all my data back (saves, credit card, etc).

How exactly can I do that?

Note: of course, I trust him. I just don't trust some other people who he will play with.

I was in creative mode on minecraft PE. I made this really awesome house plus a hotel! I was finishing up my house but decided to explore first. I explored for about 10 minutes and then stopped. Suddenly, I started worrying because I didn't know where I was. I couldn't find my house on a map, a compass, and I didn't make a beacon or keep track of what side of the sun it was on either. How can I find my house again???
