how to find out a game servers are still active and still is being played online by people?

i like to experience many games online but as they are old, when you play the game you find out that the servers are empty.

for example gears of war 4 servers are totally empty but a game like pubg is still highly active after many years.

how can I find out that a game is still being played online by enough amount of people?

i know the tags are wrong but i could not find my needed tags

I'm trying to make custom potions for my Minecraft 1.17 server. The current command that I have is as follows:

give @p minecraft:potion{CustomPotionEffects:[{Id:1, Amplifier:0, Duration:600}], CustomPotionColor:65280, display:{Name:"{\"text\":\"Super Awesome Potion\"}"}}

The item given by this command is a potion named "Super Awesome Potion" and has the Speed status effect on it.

But I don't know how I can put multiple effects on this potion. Is it possible?

Export Minetest Worlds?

How can I recover a Microsoft account using my Minecraft username?

When I tried to open Minecraft today, it asked me to sign into a Microsoft account. I do not remember the email and password for the account I used to buy Minecraft.

I have already tried entering my gmail address and phone number into the "forgot email address" section, but they were not linked to an account.

Going into the Minecraft launcher shows two usernames, my Minecraft username and another username.

Picture of the page that shows these two usernames, with the names mostly censored.

Every recovery option asks for an email address or linked phone number. Can I find out the email linked to my Minecraft account using either of these two usernames (or inside my .minecraft folder)?

Otherwise, what should I do? Are there any other ways for me to log into the Minecraft launcher?

Additional information:

I will migrate some of my comments to this section to avoid extended discussion using the comments.

  • My launcher_accounts.json file contains "type" : "Xbox", and does not seem to contain a full email address.

  • I don't think I've ever had a "Mojang account". Minecraft was probably at about 16.5 when I bought it.

  • I do not use my Microsoft account for anything else.

Are the contents of item crates in Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. fixed?

During battle, maps have breakable S.T.E.A.M. crates that have either health or steam canisters inside. Do these crates always have the same item inside? In other words, if a crate drops health the first time I play a mission, will breaking that same crate drop health again if I replay the mission?

I've played Scrabble, WWF and Wordfeud for many years. Sadly, cheat app users are very prevalence these days.

However there are tell tell signs that someone is cheating.

  1. There placements are basic. Excellent players stack, double stack and make the most of special tiles. If they don't this, there is a chance they are cheaters.

  2. The make words that leave the board wide open for a high point play by their opponent. Cheat app user sent count on the algorithm to let them know the likelihood of you having the tiles to make a big play. It may seem like they are gambling but it's actually a very calculated play. If they do this several times and every time you conveniently don't have the letters to play? They are probably cheating.

  3. Their stats are completely lopsided. No one wins all the time

  4. They have astronomical high point words in their history. It's possible but most can't create words worth 1500 points.

  5. When chatting they can't string together an eloquent sentence or cannot spell, yet on the board they suddenly are a linguistics expert.

  6. They only play big words when they are suddenly behind our close to becoming behind, but then after wards go back to simply plays. Some cheat only on certain plays to ease their conscience. They also do this too eliminate too much obvious suspicious behavior.

  7. Every play is a huge word score. Sure they could be Scrabble pros but the likelihood is low. No one is that consistent except computers.

  8. Their moves always hit the trifecta:

Blockage, High Points, and Set up

  1. They use obscure words only when they are in a bind. Otherwise they have a very basic vocabulary. Chat them up during play to get a sense of their intelligence.

  2. Their history has a lot of tie games. The likelihood of ties are very very low. However when two cheaters play each other they cancel each other out.

And last

  1. The board locks up early in play. This may be possible, but two factors come into play. If a player is more defensive than offensive, meaning they try to black opponents from making plays, and if they use an algorithm which automatically tries to always make the perfect play and that includes cancelling opportunities for them opponent.

Are low profile GPUs better than laptop GPUs or are they same thing?

I'm overwhelmed by the different types of GPUs. Recently I came to know that laptops have different GPUs that have lower power consumption and are smaller in size.

But no matter how much I tried to find, I couldn't find a photo of any GTX 1050 or 1080 or RTX GPU for laptop. All I could find photos were like this:

I'm not really sure what kind of GPUs are used in laptops. Especially in terms of how they look and what weight and size they have.

Then I came to know about some low profile GPUs. They use less power. A quick Google search for low profile GPU shows something like this:

Now I'm wondering if low profile GPUs are actually the GPUs used in laptops - I'm not really sure. Because I can't find any reference about this. Which lead me to ask this question.

But I can't find a photo or article about the (mainly physical) differences between desktop GPUs and laptop GPUs (and differences between laptop GPUs and low profile GPUs in case they are also different things).

I've researched and found that desktop GPUs in most cases perform better in gaming than laptop GPUs in the same series, given similar specifications. For example, an i5 (8th generation) desktop with a 1650 GPU gives better FPS in most games than an i5 laptop with a 1650 GPU.

So, are there any differences between low profile GPUs and laptop GPUs? If yes, for the same GPU (e.g. GTX 1080 or 1050 or 1660) series, which one is supposed to give better performance?

How do I find a resource pack which helps make retextured spiders less scary in 1.12.2?

(For context, I am arachnophobic. Horribly arachnophobic)

Recently, I've been playing a lot of Wynncraft (a mc java server). However, some areas in the server have lots of retextured spiders (and because of my condition I am blocked off from a lot of the game, like Qira Hive or Temple of Legends). That's why I've tried hunting for a resource pack. However, none of them seem to help with my arachnophobia. The best I can get is a resource pack which retextures vanilla spiders into pig-like creatures. Below is a list of things preventing me from finding the right one

  1. My arachnophobia. It is insanely hard to find a resource pack myself without stumbling on "scary spider resource pack" or even a photo of a real spider.

  2. I play on 1.12.2. This is a big problem because I cannot drag the pack to the top, overriding the wynncraft pack, due to the fact that it is for a different version.

  3. Wynncraft has retextured spiders. For instance, Nivla Forest has the "nesting spider" which is even more horrifying than the vanilla "young forest spider" due to the retextures. Even worse, some of the spiders are armor stand mobs.

Please help! This will not just help me but it will help us arachnophobes who struggle to play minecraft!

This command gives me a diamond pickaxe with a single enchantment at maximum level:

give @p diamond_axe{Enchantments:[{id:"minecraft:unbreaking",lvl:255s}]} 1

Similarly, this command gives a potion that effects the consumer with Speed I for 30 seconds:

give @p minecraft:potion{CustomPotionEffects:[{Id:1, Amplifier:0, Duration:600}]}

I would like to apply multiple of these list-style properties on my item. How can I do so?

I painted my own Minecraft skin in paint in 64*64 pixel in .png. But my Minecraft Launcher does not show them when I add them. What can I do to make him show my Overlays? (Yes, I put anything in skincustumisation at on)

Is it possible to move a boat with commands with a player in it?

I want to move a boat up/down while a player is in it with commands. I tried to teleport the boat and change the Motion NBT, both worked... while there was no player in it... Somehow, there being a player inside the boats makes it unmovable with these two methods at least.

Edit: Forgot to mention I tried to use another entity below it and teleport it upwards/change its motion upwards to try to push the boat up, which also didn't work.

Edit 2: Just to clarify, I'm trying to move the boat and the player together.

Do I lose out on loot if I let Shell Walkers reattach their cargo?

I know that if I leave Dead Machines about for Scrappers and Glinthawks they will come up and process/destroy the loot.

When I fight Shell Walkers what I always do is remain hidden as I destroy the camp that hold their Cargo, wait for them to reattach it by using their arm and then destroy the arm, generally by then they are weakened enough to quickly dispatch. I generally check the cargo after I've killed off all the machines in the area.

However, I am wondering if I am losing out on loot by waiting until I clear the area via them reattaching the cargo, similar to how I can lose loot if I don't loot the dead machines before Scrappers or Glinthawks get to them?

How to better level up with a Spear/Katana build and which equipment special skills to search for?

I decided to proceed with a defensive (Tank) build, with main weapon Spear and 2nd weapon Katana, with an alternative 2nd weapon the axe.

My initial thought was to proceed on leveling all stats until 10 and then every 2 points I add to Strength to add 1 to Stamina and add 1 to Spirit. Is this the correct way to go for such a build?

Also which special skills or sets should I chase/prefer for this kind of build?

Note: This is my first souls-like game, so everything is a challenge.

The question is about AoE2: the age of kings and the conquerors expansion (I think it's same for both). I am asking about these symbols:

For example, the knife and armour symbols. I know the general information that they represent things like attack and melee/pierce armour, but is there a picture or a table that shows everything clearly and in detail? Like what does the 12+4 mean in the knife symbol, and how is it different from 16? Some units also have a red circle symbol (I think it's for ranged units). What do the numbers on that symbol mean?

Also, in the scenario editor I think they show the stats for these units a bit differently. I would like to know how the stats are shown in the scenario editor as well, but my main question is the meaning of all the symbols and numbers in the display in the main game.

Minecraft pe will not load

I have been playing Minecraft pe for over two years now and it has become one of my most favorite games. I recently created a Xbox live account to be able to play on servers. Everything seemed fine until yesterday. Apple came out with a new version of iOS and I updated my device. Now, I can't load the game, the screen that says Minecraft after mojang goes to the last three or four bars then freezes. Nothing else happens. If I go to airplane mode I can launch the game but shortly after that it will crash. Does anyone know what's wrong?

So im trying to make a custom potion using an xp bottle, I'm using the command /execute @e[type=xporb] ~ ~ ~ effect @e[r=5] poison 5 2 true, I'm trying to make it where anything in a radius of 5 will be poisoned, so is it possible, or did I make a mistake when writing the command?

Why am I unable to breed villagers in my setup? (1.8.8)

I'm currently trying out villager breeding, and it's been an hour of me afking and hasn't gotten any new villagers (I started out with 6) l. They are in a room that's 19x19, and I am wanting to know if such a thing as "too big of a room" is possible for them to breed. There's doors on 3 of the walls and there's wheat on almost all the floor of the room, with a 2 block tall pillar over each water source block with torches (there's 9 water source blocks). Is there anything I'm doing wrong? Any advice will be appreciated

Is it possible to control how you enter an island?

When entering a new island, it seems that the bird is flying at different altitudes. Especially on one of the later islands, it is sometimes possible to perfectly enter a slope, while other times, it seems impossible for the same island.

Is it possible to somehow control this, or is it totally random?

So... when you do the "Lady Boyle's Last Party" Mission, and you do not have shadow kill, and your given target is Lydia Boyle (the one in red), you will be led to music room. There, she will ask you to play a song on the piano. However, as the music room is open to guests and servants, once you kill her / knock her out, you will attract unwanted attention... how do you eliminate / neutralise her without attracting unwanted attention? (Let's say I have shadow kill tier 1. Even then, she won't turn to ash because she already noticed you. Am I right?)

How can I use my gamepad trackball with Crysis 2 and Xpadder?

I've recently installed Crysis 2 in my PC (Win7 x64bit). I wanted to use my joystick (a gamepad like the ones for the PlayStation) with the game.

So I've installed Xpadder to make the joystick available to the game. It works, but the trackball that comes with it won't work.

When I try to use the joystick, the keyword is replaced with the joystick, and that's fine, but I can't replace the mouse movements with the joystick (I can't move his head without the mouse).

I've tried disabling the mouse, but when I do that, there's no head movement at all.

How can I solve this?
