Me and my friends have been playing on a modded minecraft server running the All The Mods 6 modpack. We've been playing for a while and recently started running into performance issues. The server has 12GB of ram and 6 Xeon CPU cores so that shouldn't be the issue. I thought it might have been because of the amount of chunks we're generating, especially in the end. Is there any way to use a chunk pre-generator mod to generate chunks in a pre-existing world?

In Sugar Rush Speedway, a kart racing game from Wreck-it Ralph, has characters called "The Sugar Rush Racers". Each racer has four official stats: Speed, Handling, Candy Coating, and Sweetness; the browser-based version only includes Speed, Handling, and Sweetness. What is Candy Coating and Sweetness? Speed and Handling are pretty simple but do Candy Coating and Sweetness even do anything? Here are the official stats for one of the characters.

What is the use of making dinosaurs poopin Ark?

I'm kinda new to Ark, and exploring the (awkward) menus I've discovered that it's possible to force a tamed animal/dinosaur to poop. Why?

Is there any actual advantage for doing this? Or is this just an easy way to collect poop for the composter?

Where can I find all of the alien artifacts in Fortnite?

In Fortnite's Battle Royal, we're currently in Chapter 2 Season 7 which is alien themed. There is an additional resource available this season called alien artifacts that are specifically meant for unlocking customizations for the Kymera character:

So far I've collected 174 of 360 alien artifacts and I'm trying to locate the rest. With that in mind, I know there are maps giving a week by week breakdown of artifact locations:

Weeks 1, 4, 7, & 10 Weeks 2, 5, & 8 Weeks 3, 6, & 9
Week 1 Week 2 Week 3
Week 4 Week 5 Week 6
Week 7 Week 8 Week 9
Week 10

However, looking at them individually does not quickly provide me with the following information:

  • Which POI has the densest concentration of artifacts?
  • If I drop in at the aforementioned POI, which POI should I travel towards in order to find the most artifacts possible in a single match?

Is there a single map image that can show all alien artifact locations?

Is there any way to see what Rarecrows you are missing?

In Stardew Valley, you can get the Deluxe Scarecrow recipe after you get all other Rarecrows.

Me and my significant other thought we got them all, but the game hasn't sent us the envelope with the deluxe recipe.

Is there somewhere to see if the game has registered if you gotten each Rarecrow?

How to read client chat logs?

I'm a new to Minecraft (Java edition). I have tried to make a parser (separate a message to sender, receiver, message) for CHAT history that is saved in %appdata%/.minecraft/logs/latest.log. So, I understand for all conversations in Minecraft that line will start with prefix [CHAT], but I have noticed that the syntax in each Minecraft server can be different. For example,

1st server: [score] [sender] [receiver] [message]

2nd server: [sender] [receiver] [message]

Does some [programmatic] way to understand syntax or pattern of messages for each server exist?

Maybe there might be another way to get Minecraft chat history on my computer?

I would like to turn off the ability to see the migration cape on other players. This also includes reverting the elytra into the plain design (since it adopts the cape design, if any).

Mods (preferably fabric) or texture pack editing are fine. If a solution requires disabling the ability to see all capes, that is fine as well.

Mining for Diamonds in Minecraft

In Minecraft, I'm trying to get diamonds, for both a pickaxe and an enchanting table. Once I have enough, I also want armor. What's the chance I'll get a diamond while strip mining at bedrock? I don't want to cave mine, since it's dangerous. Why I am asking is because I want to know if strip mining at bedrock is better, or quarry mining at bedrock.

Can i import villager trading values to another player/level.dat?

I had to make a villager hall on my survival world and notice that i was on the world with the wrong account and switched my account, when i loaded up the world i had the same items, everything looks like normal, but the prices that villagers gave me for healing them disappeared and my tames like dogs and cats doesnt sit/wander when i order to. I thought it might be because of my player.dat/level.dat and i could just ctrl-c ctrl-v something using NBTexplorer or Universal Mine editor but i dont know what i am supposed to search for and if it is possible, help?

How to prevent Minecraft griefing in Bukkit

I know it's there somewhere, but I cannot find it. A couple of years ago I was playing on an MC server where there was a good solution to prevent griefing. The method worked in the way that if a player places a block the other players cannot destroy that block and give a red message saying that they don't have permissions.

I've installed a Bukkit server with plugins "world-edit, world-guard, PermissionsEx". I need to put the block ID in somewhere but I don't know how.

I only need help setting up the block IDs to work with the plugins. I've already chosen the plugins I want to use and don't need recommendations.

Steam - running instalation script (mic)

After starting new game steam says "running instalation script (mic)", i takes around 5-10 seconds to finish. I know that steam runs instalation scripts for diferent libraries game needs, but what this one do? I saw it first time after last steam client update.

Windows won't detect my Gamepad / Joystick

I bought a product that's called "BM-707 / BM-727 Bluetooth Android Controller (FW: V 11)

It's said on the manual: "Can be used for PC windows system, TV, box, tablet and Android phones, tablets and IOS phones.."

It also says it supports three types of connections: Blutooth, Wireless (with a receiver), and Wired.

It does not come with any driver or instruction for driver installation. I was unable to find one. Please tell me if one exists that you know of

I connect it with the supplied wire - windows won't even detect it as a device. (couldn't find on on Device Manager)

I followed the instruction for connection it via Bluetooth (which works only if the cable is disconnected, apparently) - I managed to convince my PC that the device is connected, and I can even see it in the Device Manager, but the device itself doesn't seem to know it's connecting and clicking buttons on it does nothing. According to the manual, the flashing light (indicating "ready to connect") should stop flashing and indicate "connected" instead.

I'm out of ideas on what to try

My pet dolphin has vanished

I was playing Minecraft on the Nintendo Switch.
I went underwater, and made an underground base in Creative Mode. The base had no water in it except for a pool I had made.

I put a wall on the edge of the pool and made it out of light blue glass.
The wall reached the roof, and the pool was accessible by a door which was the only way in and out.

The pool was about 3 or 4 blocks deep in the middle and one block less deep along the edges next to the wall. The pool had Seagrass and Kelp in it along with Salmon and Cod.

I put a Dolphin it there, named it with a name tag and put some unnamed Dolphins in with it.
I switched my game mode to Survival and left the base, but when I came back a few days later, the Dolphins were gone - including the one I had named.
There was no way for the Dolphin to die of suffocation or to drown, and passive mods stay in the world without even having to be named.

It was impossible for the Dolphin to escape as well, because I was able to see it in the ocean above my base.
In the ocean I can still see the Dolphin I have named a week ago, and that one has not vanished.

Is there a way to reset or hide mastery score on champions

I main as Kayle often, so my mastery score displays as about 850k and rising.

All the rest of the people (except for once in a while it seems) have 10k and less.

This is giving my lane opposition insight into how much I play as Kayle on top lane, so the more observant ones play safer than most would.

Is there a way to reset/hide my mastery score? I'm fine with still showing the mastery 6 token, this only tells part of the story.

Multiple games linked to one world

Background

I like to restart a lot when I play minecraft; and I rarely play online. I am the kind of player who will start a game, get established, explore, and then get bored and start again. However, I like the idea of starting all my new games in the same world.

I found that if I replace the 'region' folder in one save folder with a symbolic link (or a 'shortcut' in windows) to the region folder of another save, then they both save to the same location, and changes in one game are reflected in the other; but world generation anomalies tend to occur, due to multiple different seeds being used depending on which game is used.

Further, I found that if I linked two games with the same seed (e.g. one that was re-created from the other), then each would act like its own game, as above, but without the problem of world generation bugs. The only downsides seem to be that I have to start and respawn in the same location each time (the global spawn for that seed), and that it is tedious to set up each time I restart.

Additional notes: the 'linked' games allow for individual games to occur as if they are different users on the same server; they have different coordinates, inventories, and ender chest contents, but the world is the same.

To the Question

I would like to be able to start new games in (ideally a new location in) a pre-existing world, while having the old game still usable. If there is some kind of mod or third-party package which I can install to automate this for me, that would be really cool. If not, if anyone else has tried and succeeded at this, I'd like to hear your solutions.

Is there a way to spawn blocks without using multiple command blocks?

How to beat Mossdeep Gym Leaders in Pokémon Emerald?

I cannot beat Mossdeep gym leaders. Psychic with Earthquake just one-shot kills my Pokémon, that are slower than enemies and even my most powerful Pokemon make very little dent for Claydol and that before it uses Light screen. Their Pokemon Lineup is:

  1. Claydol LV. 41 and Xatu LV. 41
  2. Lunatone LV. 42 and Solrock LV. 42

Mine:

  1. Spheal Lv.30 Surf, Ice Ball, Body Slam, Aurora Beam
  2. Sableye Lv.34 Torment, Knock off, Faint Attack, Night shade
  3. Linoone Lv. 39 Rock Smash, Cut, Dig, Headbutt
  4. Swellow Lv. 43 Steel Wing, Fly, Endeavor, Aerial Ace
  5. Swampert Lv. 42 Mud Shot, Take Down, Muddy Water, Surf
  6. Girafarig Lv. 37 Baton Pass, Confusion, Stomp, Agility

I have also few Pokémon that are pretenders in lineup to change them (above team is not my default I made to defeat leader):

  1. Torkoal Lv. 34 (normally switches out Sableye)
  2. Baltoy Lv. 27 (grinding up to switch out Girafarig)
  3. Wailmer Lv.45 (caught recently, should I use him, normally I was going phase out Swampert for Spheal as I will grind it up as Water/Ice Pokemon)
  4. Keckleon Lv. 32 (not using it).
  5. Castform Lv. 30 (not using it anymore).

How can I improve my lineup and do I need to do much level grinding? What moves should I teach Pokémon to defeat that gym?
