How do I check for a TNT explosion and stop that explosionf rom doing block damage? - 1.16.4

So basically what i want to do is create my own fake explosion to break only certain blocks. The trigger for that fake explosion however is supposed to be an actual TNT explosion in close proximity which I want to not destroy any blocks. I have looked through many similar questions answered but the solutions to these problems were not transferable to my problem. So in conclusion: I need to check if a TNT was lit and to then trigger my fake explosion right when the TNT explodes. The fake explosion should be the easiest part and i can do that already. Thanks in advance!

Are the old Sega games free to use or they are still under some license?

I just noticed that there are free software to use old Sega games on Windows such as fusion364 (I think it is a free software because it is said at this link, please correct me if it is not).

Now the question is: what about the games themselves? One can easily find some sipped folders or iso files by searching online for old Sega games such as Sonic etc. But is it legal to just download those games without paying any fee and open them with these software on computer and play, or these games are still commercial and one should pay to buy them to play?

If you encountered this kind of game, please help. I forgot the name ages ago. When I was 9 (around year 2003) I encountered this game on my WinXP. It lets you code a robot, select an image of it (32x32 maybe) and run it in an arena style window with other robots. It's 2d, and you code how it moves, how it fires projectiles, etc. And judging from its files, there have been competitions since 1990s, and the game comes with the robot files used in those competitions. It was, of course, a little boring for an ordinary 9 y.o. boy, but I'm a professional programmer now, and I really love to relive that experience and explore all the possibilities and create the most indestructible robots of all time! heheh thanks

Can you duplicate someone else's Minehut Minecraft server?

My friend and I have been playing on my other friend's minecraft server for quite a while. We have a really pretty house that we're proud of and netherite gear. The server has gotten super toxic recently and we won't stop getting harassed. The only reason we haven't quit is because we've made so much progress that we don't want to lose. We thought maybe we could create a duplicate of the minecraft server that we can play on and we can invite nicer people to play with us.

Is there any way to duplicate my friend's minecraft server? The server is a minehut server.

What is the difference between Freeciv's classic and default ruleset?

In Freeciv 2.5, there is a "classic" ruleset and a "default" ruleset. What is the difference between them? If not mistaken, there was no distinction between "classic" and "default" in Freeciv 2.4.

How do I use Item IDs in Commands?

To use the ID part in these hacks the number 5 will make it green, but 2 will make it orange and others.

/setblock ~~~ wool 5   /setblock ~~~ wool 2  /setblock ~~~ wool 7  /setblock ~~~ wool 8

The number at the end will make the wool a different colour than white.

Merging two Minecraft map's chunks, one with builds and another just the terrain

I made a Minecraft map in worldpainter, exported it and got it on a server, then we built some mines in a small part of the map. However, we found that some parts of the map probably got corrupted and there were a lot of empty chunks.

I still have the unbuilt version of map and want to just add the missing chunks back to the map with builds, and MCEdit is giving me a lot of errors.

Is there any other way of doing it?

What is the most efficient way to strip mine in Minecraft Java?

I have a world on Minecraft Java, and I feel like the only thing I'm ever doing is mining for diamonds....I feel like there must be some strategy out there I'm missing or something, because i just Can't find them at a productive rate. I used to play Bedrock and I always found it easier to just strip mined at Y=10 or Y=11. I feel like this method is very good on Bedrock but much less productive on Java.

My strip mining consists of:

  1. Mining at y=10 or y=11
  2. Making mines 3 blocks apart
  3. Using F3 menu to see what is under lava

I have tried the clay trick, using clay, facing Z, 8 block out, etc. etc.

Insofar this method does not work in 1.17.1, the version this world was created in. Please I need some help, because I need those diamonds.

Is it possible to achieve platinum trophy in some old games, which have dead multiplayer, with multiplayer trophies listed?

Do situations like that have any exceptions, which allow completing the game with platinum, but with not completed multiplayer trophies?

When is Mooncrash progress erased?

I have read in a few guides that "finishing" Mooncrash erases all your progress. However, it is never clearly explained what exactly constitutes finishing it. Is it one of these, or a combination?

  • Completing all Story Objectives
  • Completing all KASMA Orders
  • Escaping with all five characters in a single run

I don't want to accidentally finish the game and miss out on some achievements such as Cryptomancer or Galaxy Brain.

How much does each action contribute to your per-battle player score?

After each battle in Pokémon Unite, the game calculates a per-player score based on their performance in the match.

I'm referring to the score in the rightmost column in the table on the right side of the above screenshot.

According to serebii.net, this score is calculated based on the goal points a player scored + their KOs and assists. However, it doesn't say how each element affects your score.

Here's what I would like to know:

  • What formula is used to calculate the final player score?
  • Is the score bounded? What's the highest possible score? I suspect it's 100, which is the highest score I've seen, 100 is a pretty typical ceiling for rating performance.
  • What would a player need to do to achieve a score of '100'?

Do ruins have any effect in Freeciv?

When a city is destroyed, there will be ruins on the tile formerly occupied by the city. I could remove the ruins by pillaging it, but will there be any material impact on the game if I choose not to remove the ruins? What exactly is the use of ruins?

Do PS4 games still get a performance upgrade on PS5 if run from external storage?

The PlayStation 5 (PS5) has the option to run PlayStation 4 (PS4) games from an external USB drive to save space on the main drive for more intensive PS5 games, which can only be run from the internal storage itself.

Several PS4 games I own have received PS5 upgrade patches (without being a full-scale "PS5 version"), like Ghost of Tsushima, which upgrades the frame rate, etc.

If I attempt to run these games from an external drive, will those improvements apply or will the extra transfer overhead make it revert to lower settings?

How to move bees to a new hive?

I've got a bunch of bees and I'm trying to move them to a new hive.

I don't have silk touch so I can't take them with me in the existing hive. I hold a flower and they follow me to the new hive, but as soon as I stop holding the flower, most of them start trying to fly back to the original hive, despite the fact that it's not that close or easy to get to. (The new hives are in a building up a bunch of stairs.)

I have tried boxing up the exits with dirt blocks so they can't escape and even putting flowers on those blocks, but even after keeping it this way for some time many of the bees still aren't interested in the new hives and try to escape as soon as a path is available.

There are plenty of flowers around the new hives, but they don't seem interested in those either. The mainly congregate off in a corner together and ignore the hives and flowers completely.

How do I get the bees to call the new hives home?

How to run Minecraft Java without the launcher?

I am creating my own Minecraft launcher and I want to know the terminal command for opening Minecraft Java. I've tried many solutions online but most of them are outdated or only for Windows.

I already authenticated with https://authserver.mojang.com/authenticate, and now I want to run a terminal command which opens Minecraft given the username/password or access token.

Made my first server and I need help with the scoreboard

I know how scoreboards work, and i have one set up already. the thing is, its set to totalKillCount and give 1 point for each kill. I want to give more points for killing tougher mobs.

How do I make it so it gives different points for different mobs, but also have all of the scores show up on the same scoreboard? For example, 2 points for killing a creeper, but 7 points for killing a ravager?

My server is a PvP and PvE.

Does exist any way to add PS+ PS4 Collection games to PS4 without PS5?

I understand, that PS+ PS4 Collection is available on PlayStation 5. I also know that if I add PS4 PS+ Collection games, then I am able to install and play them on PlayStation 4 too. But does exists any trick to "emulate" PS5 to add these games in "fake" PS5 (like software that is identifying as a real PS5 console) and make it possible to download these games on PS4?

How can I increase the knockback of a slime in minecraft?

I'm using command blocks to make a custom slime, I've tried using the command: /summon slime ~ ~ ~ {Size:3b,Attributes:[{Name:"generic.attack_knockback", Base:8.0,}]}

but it doesn't work. Replacing "slime" with "zombie" does work however. I've tried giving the slime a knockback sword, but they can't make use of items. Is there any way to increase their knockback?

How to activate Set 2 while game controller button is on hold using Antimicro?

I'm using Antimicro to map my Mocute-050 bluetooth controller to play The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt.

I've been reading the previous questions regarding "combo key" in the github page, but it seems it is not what I was expecting.

What I wanted:

Is to mimic the behavior in the "Set Selector [num] While Held" that when a [key] is pressed hold and unhold will toggle the select set. While normal [key] press will activate the default assigned function.

The problem is when I set the Macro:

Hold 0.50s > Set Select 2 > Release 0.01s > [TAB] > Release 0.49s

or

Release 0.01s > [TAB] > Release 0.49s >Hold 0.50s > Set Select 2

The after hold Set Select will not activate until you release the key which is opposite what I wanted is to keep it hold down, after releasing the key Set Select should no longer be active.

Is it a bug?

Is there a way to see how many coins you have of your daily limit?

If one of your pokemon is kicked out of a gym, you get up to 50 poke coins per day.

But sometimes you miss the notification that one of your pokemon has ben knocked out and so you lose the count of how many coins you have for the day.

Is there somewhere you can see the number of coins you are at for the day?

How do I get a level 3 locator map?

I have tried just about everything I can think of and my maps are always 0/4 or 1/4 I need a 3/4 or 4/4 map that's larger. The only way I have gotten them is to spawn in with them and have a starting map thing I need it for an older map and I cant change the world settings like bonus chest and starting map.

I downloaded a map from the workshop for CSGO (I'm got it from steam.) And I like the map, but I would like to play deathmatches on it and it does not allow the deathmatch game mode by default. I know it is possible to change the game mode to deathmatch with the console while I'm in a match, but I would like to set the game mode before I start the match as I would any other mode. So how would I do this?

But I have a similar question about how to sort potions or if it is possible. The syntax for potions seems to differ from enchanted items/books.

ID is 373

I tried variations with potion name, potion effects, effect id and others I found, but nothing worked. With 373 only, it takes all potions, with other tries it takes everything or nothing.

Not able to get XP on LAN game

I have been playing on a LAN with my brother lately and it all worked fine for a while then I couldn't collect XP any more. By that I mean I can pick up the XP orbs and they make a sound and that's it, my XP bar does not go up.

  1. We are both on 1.7.5 with Optifine
  2. It worked for a while
  3. We are playing on offline mode
  4. We do have different accounts (Bought)
  5. My brother's hosting and his XP works
  6. Even using /xp doesn't work (E.g /xp 15L not working)
  7. I have tried going on default resource pack, it's not the resource pack
  8. Nothing works (E.g /xp, Killing Mobs, Mining.)
  9. Problems that may be related: I can't open a chest after a while, Can't use item frames after a while, Can't see named mobs after a while, Can't use dogs after a while (This all happens after about 10 minutes of gameplay but not with XP)

PS3 account sharing save data

Hey my buddy got "The Last of us" in his PS3 bundle and I got hooked on it for about 7 hours,

He let me borrow the game, now when I tried taking the save copy over to my system it says I can't save or earn trophies because it's from another user.

He never set up his PSN log in but had a user set up, anyway I made him finish setting up his PSN thinking it would somehow link. So I logged into that but I get the same error.

What is this save file linked to? It's probably not his gamertag because he didn't set up the PSN before we started playing. How can I get this to work?
