How to add a tag for a villager trade Posted: 12 Jul 2021 07:26 PM PDT So I made a quest where the player kills a mob gets a weapon then sells to the villager
I noticed that the dropped weapon had 3 tags so the villager trade wouldn't work how do I add this to the villager or remove from the mob drop

How does the first Control Point in Maintenance work? Posted: 12 Jul 2021 07:16 PM PDT How does the first Control Point in Maintenance work? I cleansed it, got the location reset animation and everything, then managed to use it once, but then I had to do it again, when I respawned, along with being unable to use it between clears, and having the blurry appearance in that time period... Or, some strange glitch, and not because there was Hiss around it, preventing me from using it? As that didn't seem like a problem back in the Executive section... |
Is there fall damage? Or only when doing clearly dangerous things like jumping down elevator shafts? Posted: 12 Jul 2021 09:06 PM PDT Is there fall damage? Or only when doing clearly dangerous things like jumping down elevator shafts? In which case is immediate death? Because I notice there's the damage direction indicator when I jump down a bit too high, but I don't track my HP carefully enough to notice. |
Does the Aphid Egg actually hatch? Posted: 12 Jul 2021 12:13 PM PDT The description for the Aphid Egg reads:
Does it ever actually hatch? If so, how long do you have to use it and what happens when it hatches? |
What are good ways to farm stardust? Posted: 13 Jul 2021 04:17 AM PDT It feels that stardust is my big bottleneck right now. Mostly because most activities give 1000 dust or less but when you spend dust, its sometimes 200-300k per shot. So yeah, i'm stuck with a low source of dust and every time I need to do something, its with a huge cost. So is there any way to 'get rich quick' with Stardust, or you are stuck farming a lot to get the stardust you need? |
How does 'Mile High Club' fit into the greater plot of the Modern Warfare franchise? Posted: 12 Jul 2021 10:32 AM PDT The epilog of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (2007/2016) features a counter-terrorist hostage-rescue operation aboard an airliner, all while under severe time pressure. This mission has remarkably little context compared to the expansive campaigns and characters in the rest of the Modern Warfare franchise. The theme of the mission is replicated in Modern Warfare 3's mission 'Turbulence'. Apart from that, there's no clear relation to the rest of the series. How does 'Mile High Club' fit into the greater plot of Modern Warfare? |
How do you save in Monster Hunter Stories 2? Posted: 13 Jul 2021 01:41 AM PDT When I am roaming the open world doing quests, is there a quick way to save my progress? The only way I've found is to physically run all the way back to the starting village (Mahana) and visit the bed in my house. It would be nice to be able to save elsewhere |
How to replay the tutorial in Crusader Kings 3? Posted: 12 Jul 2021 08:40 AM PDT I got Crusader Kings 3 and started the tutorial on a prompt. But I quit before finishing it. Now I can't seem to find the option to play it again. Can anyone tell me how? |
Terraria demolitonist and merchant died and won’t come back Posted: 12 Jul 2021 07:52 AM PDT I have everything ready and nothing is working no events valid housing and all requirements are met. Please tell me what to do if you know what to do. I play on mobile if you need to know. Sorry I didn't know it was against the rules to post the same thing twice. But I checked and nothing will work. |
How to end the game in 2-player Lemmings (Super Nintendo), with no "Nuke" option? Posted: 12 Jul 2021 09:17 AM PDT I'm sharing my old SNES games with my kids and we were trying out the 2-player mode on Lemmings. Sadly, it seems you can get into the situation where someone has used all of their "Bombers" and still have "Blockers" left that aren't able to be saved - leaving the 2-player game stuck with no way to keep playing without resetting the console. In 1-player mode, there are three ways to get out of this situation:
Here is a screenshot of the third option in 1-player mode. Notice the "Mushroom Cloud" in the bottom center of the image (Next to the yellow highlighted "Digger" box): Unfortunately, in 2-player mode pressing start + select doesn't seem to work - even if both players do it simultaneously. That leaves the other two options, but with no timer and no "Nuke" option on the screen, it seems that it is impossible to end the round and keep playing when you get into this situation. Here is a screenshot showing the lack of a "mushroom cloud" button in 2-player mode: We no longer have the game manual, but surely there should be a way to continue playing the game in those situations? Being forced to reset the console is most disappointing. |
How to make armor blocks properly merge? Posted: 12 Jul 2021 08:06 AM PDT Screenshot shows a portion of light armor blocks in a plane, part of a fairly large small grid build I'm doing. (This is for the mid-deck floor.) After welding out the outline of the hull and each deck, I am now filling in the decks in, but for some reason this part of the floor has boundaries, like it's not considering it to be part of the rest. I know that as you weld armor blocks, they'll merge together to save on the number of polygons the engine has to manage. This is a large build, so I really want the armor blocks to merge as much as possible. Why does this happen, and how can I fix it once it is happening? |
Override the PlayStation 4 DualShock Controllers in Windows 10 Posted: 12 Jul 2021 01:07 PM PDT I'm using a PlayStation 4 DualShock controller on Windows 10. I want to change the controller behaviours for the operating system as a whole. I want the "O" button to be "pressed" if it's y-axis measures more than 6m/s² via the controllers built-in accelerometer. I want that condition to be applied in every game I play, where the game still sees the button as "O". Is this possible? |

PS2 slim having trouble in multiplayer selection Posted: 12 Jul 2021 12:09 PM PDT My son has PS2 7000 series. It never functions with second controller. At first we thought that the problem is with the controller so we changed it. But it didn't work. Then we bought multitap, considering that the problem may be with the slot. But still the issue persists. For example, if he plays Dragon Ball Z, the option for 1p VS 2p is disabled. In any multiplayer game the option for second player is inactive. By any game I really mean ANY Game. We tried more than 1o different games but no luck. What could be the problem? Please help. |
What is the most damage possible in Minecraft using a melee weapon? Posted: 12 Jul 2021 03:33 PM PDT What is the maximum amount of damage that can be inflicted using a melee weapon with universal enchantments (such as Sharpness V or Fire Aspect), while doing a critical hit, without using cheats or exploits? I'm using Minecraft Java Edition in 1.16.5. |
Is there any way I can give myself 360 degrees of vision in game Posted: 12 Jul 2021 11:00 AM PDT A key gameplay mechanic in Project Zomboid is that your character can only see what's in front of them, even though the game has an isometric perspective. Anything behind becomes shrouded. That's fine for experienced players, but as a new player I often find myself overwhelmed by three or four zombies that sneak up on me while I face the opponent in front of me. I don't want to deal with this additional difficulty of the game while I am still struggling with the controls. I know that the there is a sandbox mode in the game but none of the options I see provide me the enhanced vision I need as I learn to play the game. Is there any way I can achieve this effect? As a visual aid for this question I found this image which demonstrates the limited field of view: The player is running from a horde, but loses track of the zombies when they turn away. You can see some of the zombies fading from screen when the player is facing away from them. I've had characters die because of zombies sneaking behind them and it's unclear if there's a way to change it. |
Do all non-PVP battles give the same amount of EXP? Posted: 12 Jul 2021 11:06 AM PDT Do all non-PVP battles give the same amount of EXP? I did some class quest battles, and some explore LV1 battles, but even though the former is harder than the latter, they gave the same amount of EXP. Is this true for all battles other than PVP ones, which I heard give more EXP? |
Why can't I place a banner on a shield in Minecraft Bedrock Edition? Posted: 12 Jul 2021 07:08 PM PDT I want to make a cool shield, and it will not work on a crafting table. I designed the banner, yet it won't work. |
How do you harvest carrots in creative mode? Posted: 12 Jul 2021 06:49 PM PDT I'm playing creative mode (Java edition, Windows 10) and can't for the life of me seem to figure out how to harvest carrots. I've planted them and they've grown to the point that a little bit of orange is sticking out. They're not growing any further, so I'm pretty sure they're ready to be picked. Right-clicking does nothing. If I left-click, it just smashes the carrots together with the soil underneath. Or is it that carrot patches don't always yield carrots? |

Posted: 13 Jul 2021 03:02 AM PDT For a while, I have been experimenting with NBT Data on Minecraft. Recently, I wanted to make a fox that trusts both me and a friend of mine, and I know this is possible, as they have the tag However, I don't know how to use it. There are no tutorials about using this tag, and the Wikipedia, while mentioning it, does not give a good explanation. How can I use this to make a fox that trusts me and my friend? I have tried to use only my friend's UUID, which did not work. I saw something about "M" and "L," but do not know how to use them. Is there any possible way to do this? |
minecraft arrow speed / initial velocity Posted: 12 Jul 2021 01:53 PM PDT What's the instantaneous velocity of an arrow fired from the bow at full charge? I found a reddit post that claims "roughly" 52 m/s but it sources a quotation that no longer exists (on the minecraft gamepedia wiki), and "roughly" sounds hand-waved. I wonder if anyone has read the source or done some more intense measurements. |
Bloodline quest - can't get into castle Posted: 13 Jul 2021 12:44 AM PDT I'm playing Skyrim Remastered on Xbox One. Bloodline is the Dawnguard quest where you free Serana from Dimhollow Crypt and take her to a boat at Icewater Jetty, then on to Castle Volkihar. My problem is I can't get into the castle. Apparently, Serana is supposed to tell me to "let her do the talking," but she doesn't ever say anything when I arrive at the castle. The solutions I've found so far have been for PC (edit config files) and older console versions (delete the DLC). Unfortunately neither of these will work with these versions ... right? Am I stuck with a permanent second companion? Edit: I did try loading older saves, but the only choices I had were saves either from after I met Serana or WAY before I met her. I wasn't willing to lose that much progress. |
What are all the ways to get stardust in Pokémon Go? Posted: 12 Jul 2021 04:44 PM PDT Anytime I caught Pokemon, it gave me 100 stardust. As far as I know, this is a set number you get regardless of what is being caught. Also, I've yet to see another way to get stardust. So, when I captured an Eevee today, I was confused by my stardust total. Somehow I managed to get 5,256 stardust. Since I've only ever noticed stardust increment in 100s, I'm guessing I missed something. Are there other ways of getting stardust or am I wrong in thinking each successful capture always gives 100? |
What resources are (technically) finite in Minecraft? Posted: 12 Jul 2021 04:14 PM PDT Most resources in Minecraft are infinite. Plants regrow, animals reproduce, mobs respawn. water sources can also become infinite, based on their placement. Even stone is infinite through the combination of flowing lava and water, and then smelting. But there are some resources that do not have a natural "reproductive" quality. Eg, lava cannot replace another source block like water can. What other resources in Minecraft do not have this quality? |
Is there a population cap for cities in SC4? Posted: 12 Jul 2021 03:05 PM PDT Im currently working on a city that's population has been growing fairly steadily for a while, but it seems to be struggling to get past the 600,000 inhabitants mark. It's strange because the major rating is full and health, education, police and fire coverage is all funded to capacity. Recently though there has been problems with residential demand. I lowered taxes and added more transport links and it worked until the budget became a problem. When I raised taxes again to around the 7% mark the demand collapsed and the population steeply declined by about 80,000. I was wondering if there was a cap on the amount of people that can live in a city, or have I just been missing something? |
