I have a command that is not working. Here it is: (Simplified version which does not include the actual nbt) Can anyone please help me and say what I might have done wrong? I checked and I think the formatting is correct because the function appears in the function list in game.  |
| Do your officers as captains of another ship inherit your stats? Posted: 09 Apr 2021 12:08 AM PDT If I set one of my officers as a captain of another ship, is it my character stats (Sailing, Accuracy, Cannons, etc.) that govern how well they can sail and fight or does the game only use their personal stats? This is a very confusing aspect of the game since officer bonus are reflected as your character's stats. For example, I may be a 1 in combat but if I have an officer with his own rating of 10 then I am also considered a 10. You can only set one officer to captain another ship but there are more stats needed than a single captain will generally have that are required to sail another ship. This is what is confusing.  |

I have restarted my computer and logged out of my Mojang account. It loads in versions after that perfectly fine and some other people's skins won't show up for me, but some will. I have a slim skin and get the steve skin but slim for some reason.  |

I have tried two different joycons, both of them don't work. I have all the recent system and controller updates. The left joycon works fine. (Error MismatchedProductUserIds), this must have happened because I kept on uninstalling and installing again Among Us for the new update on April 2. Will I be able to regular chat again on Among Us? In an article on The Great Catastrophe, it mentions the event of 2012. I have not played all the Assassin's Creed games, so the lore is a bit fuzzy. Can anyone explain how the recording of an event that takes place in 2012 is being viewed by Bayek in 49 BCE?  |

I don't know what it actually does, but I think it has to do with protection. I was wondering if I could make an armor that has infinite protection so I tried to make a command: I thought it would give me infinite protection, but it only gives me a helmet with the empty "protection" attribute. It works fine on older versions, but not on the 1.17 snapshots.  |

| What would be the easiest way to detect if a player breaks a block in Minecraft 1.16? Posted: 08 Apr 2021 10:04 PM PDT I want to add block breaking detection and right click detect to a datapack I'm working on. I want this to be multiplayer friendly and I need to know who broke the block. To add right click detection is easy. I just have a scoreboard for using a carrot/fungi on a stick. Now, I want to add block break detection, but I also want to know where the event occurred as a part of the detection. This is we're I'm stuck. I can use raycasting for location, but I don't know how to detect if there is a block that was broken. I can't use a bunch of scoreboards for each individual block. I don't know if I can use loot tables to add a player uuid to a special drop as nbt. Although for that method, it probably won't work because in that same datapack I have a loot table for each block already. I have to have right click detection and block break detection both using a carrot/fungi on a stick. So using used pickaxe/other tool scoreboard won't work either. Raycasting also won't work since it isn't multiplayer friendly because you can't detect who broke the block. If you have any questions or if any of this is unclear please comment below. | How to change Bethesda account in Doom Eternal? Posted: 08 Apr 2021 09:06 PM PDT I have Steam version of Doom Eternal. Game prompted me to create Bethesda account so I did it via Steam overlay browser. Game decided to eat underscore from my email and now it is stuck with invalid, and apparently already taken, email so game complains that "No username specified. Please complete account verification" with some funky guid in place of username. Bethesda support is, of course, incapable of assisting with this issue. I tried deleting userdata for Doom, didn't help. Now I can't get that cute unicorn skin. How can I enter correct Bethesda account into Doom Eternal? Update: It appears game automatically created Bethesda account on incorrect email (which appears to be taken...), and linked my Steam to it. Currently I can not link my Steam to my Bethesda account. Be very careful when linking Doom Eternal to Bethesda account.  |

(Btw, before anyone asks, I can change it to an English storefront but it doesn't let me buy anything from it.) I can buy games from the Spanish storefront and still get the English language in it for some games. However, I recently preordered Modern Warfare 2019, and I am worried that the game will be in Spanish and not in English. Does anyone know if you can change the language in game when you first login in when it came out? Thanks.  |

Most games will let you do this but for some reason Clash Royale won't let you do that. How can I overwrite this with my current save game. And I don't want to use Facebook, only Google Play. | Should I max Lancer before starting Dragoon? Posted: 09 Apr 2021 02:57 AM PDT I have recently come back to the game through the 4-day re-introduction event, and picked up my character. I've got my Lancer up to level 30 now, and have Marauder at level 8. So I just have 7 levels of Marauder to go before I can take the Eye of the Dragon quest. Is it worthwhile me getting my Lancer up to 50 before taking Dragoon? Are there advantages to having a Lv50 Lancer when working on Dragoon? Such as cross-over abilities. Or do I level up Dragoon and Lancer as separate jobs, just like all the other jobs.  |
| Summoning enderpearls on arrows with custom name shot by a player Posted: 08 Apr 2021 06:06 PM PDT I want to shoot an arrow named "GreenArrow" that constantly summons enderpearls named "GreenPearl". Those pearls should execute a command at armorstands within 1 block. That command is /setblock ~ ~-1 ~ wool 5. To do this, I have 4 command blocks, and 2 dummy scoreboard objectives. the dummy objectives are as follows: The 4 command blocks that are repeating and always active, are as such: This works when the arrow us summoned using this command, but not when shot by a player. I have tested with a arrow with the custom name in it's NBT data and when renamed in a anvil. The arrow is shot just fine, but is not detected by the command blocks unless summoned as previously mentioned. I do belive it has something to do with the way the arrow is shot, in creative mode or survival/adventure there is no difference. It seemes like the arrow looses it's NBT data after being fired from a bow. There were no issues with this before the CustomName was added. Are anyone here able to assist?  |

| How do I get the NOT, NAND, NOR and XNOR logic gates to work? Posted: 09 Apr 2021 02:56 AM PDT The Contraptions Workshop DLC introduced a range of "Advanced switches". Playing around with these, I found the AND, OR, and XOR gates to work exactly as expected, but not the NOT, NAND, NOR and XNOR gates. Here's a fairly long explanation of what I've tried to get them to work: This was my first attempt at using a NAND gate (which should be transmitting power unless both inputs are turned on):
Reading up, I discovered that the N- gates "only transmit power if their inputs are connected directly to the output of other logic gates." My next attempt, which I expected to work based on the information above, was to have an AND gate feeding into the NOT gate as such:
But, despite the NOT gate's input coming directly from the AND gate, the NOT gate did not turn on. The problem seemed to be that:
As a final attempt, I ran the AND's output into a NAND gate instead, which I can have one input powered whilst still having it (hopefully) turn on:
So, from what I understand:
My question is, how do I get these N- gates to function? What is the logic behind when they transmit power? Perhaps I'm making an obvious mistake here like wiring them wrong, or have a misunderstanding of how these gates are intended to work.  |

I'm not sure because each time I've gotten the "Perfect!", I only get a regular quality fish (not silver or gold starred).  |

They are all in my resource packs folder, but only one shows up in the menu. One of the two that don't show up used to show up, the other I just completed and I have never been able to test. After scouring the internet for about an hour and try every fix i could find, nothing has changed. So I decided to ask my own question. And no it's not zipped, but I run Sphax unzipped just fine, and my other resource packs work fine unzipped, so no, that won't help.  |

I have heard that the Nether in this version has a permanent wall of bedrock around it, so it also has a fixed size. But how big is it? Also, if the Nether is 1024x1024, how does the faster travel work? For example on PC, if you move 1 meter in the Nether, that's equivalent to 8 meters in the overworld. But given that the overworld is limited to 1024 across, what happens if you travel 1000 meters and then try to come back?  |
