Why I have to pay insurance fee of vehicle in GTA 5 when other player destroy it?

It happened to me many times that when some player destroy my vehicle (MK 2 Oppressor), 2,3 times the insurance claim is free but then I have to pay $10k insurance fee. Why?

Apparently a Rainbow 6 banner is coming soon to Arknights with 4 new operators. Having played Rainbow 6 in the past some of the locations that are shown here are familiar to me and the others are not so familiar. Hoping to get an exact clarification of which sites specifically these are supposed to be based off?

It's Yacht, but I don't know which floor it is. With all the electronics it kind of reminds me of the basement level. enter image description here

How do I activate a command block by going near by at least 3 to 5 blocks [Minecraft 1.17]

I am a little confused with the execute command in command blocks. I have a server with Essentials and Worldedit plugins 1.17 and I want to activate command blocks by going near it as a jumpscare.

I have researched alot of commands and it seems that the command block considers it valid but it doesn't work when an entity is near it. I have tested a couple of commands and it seems like it doesn't work. For example: /minecraft:execute if entity @p[distance=..5] run time set day

Is there any alternative for this if ever it doesn't work? Because redstone requires too much work and my main goal is to activate jumpscares that won't be noticeable. Thank you!

How do I clear items from my inventory with specific name?

I looked at another post with the same question as this, but when I tried to do what a reply on the post said to do, for some odd reason it only worked when I named the item using an anvil. The command they said to do was:

/clear @a minecraft:torch{display:{Name:'{"text":"Special Torch"}'}} 1  

Can someone help me with this?

Adding distance in the data command makes the command fail

I'm trying to making the command block detect the dragon phase within 100 blocks using this command:

execute store result score @a Dragon run data get entity @e[type=minecraft:ender_dragon,limit=1,sort=nearest,distance=1..100] DragonPhase  

For some reason, it doesn't work because of distance=..100 and it works when I remove it. Any ideas what is causing this issue?

What is the difference between a softlock and a hardlock? [duplicate]

I've fairly recently learned about the term "softlock" and its companion "hardlock." I've encountered softlocks before, just not the term. But there seem to be several different definitions of these terms that conflict with each other, especially when it comes to hardlocks. I'll give a few game-specific examples (mostly Metroid Prime series) that I am aware of where these definitions apply.

So, a softlock, as I've gathered is a situation where the game remains playable but it is impossible to win or progress. But at least one definition defines a softlock as a save state where this condition applies.

I've found two distinct definitions of a hardlock:

1: A situation where the game is not longer playable, with the typical example being unresponsive controls.

2: A situation similar to a softlock, but where resetting or reloading the game will not resolve the issue. This seems to imply that saving while softlocked turns it into a hardlock.

Any definition that includes saving and reloading would have to depend on how those functions work in a particular game (e.g. whether you can only save at particular points or if you can access multiple save points on the same playthrough.)

Example 1: In Metroid Prime, if you sequence break and enter a particular room (Mine Security Station) for the first time from the "back" door, the same fight cutscene will trigger both before and after you clear the room of enemies, leaving no way of unlocking the doors. This, it seems, would count as a softlock unless you add the "save state" part of the definition, since you don't have access to a save station.

Example 2: Also in Metroid Prime, there is a miniboss that you fight for an artifact needed to unlock the final level. In early editions, you can leave after fighting the boss without collecting the artifact. If you do this, the room will reload without it, requiring a reset. If you save, you'll need to start a new game. So, this seems to be a softlock, but if you follow the second definition of a hardlock, it becomes a hardlock if you save. But if you follow the second softlock definition, it's only a softlock if you save.

Example 3: In Metroid Prime 2, if you got out-of-bounds and screw attack into a wall, you will get stuck to the wall in the screw attack animation and no control inputs will get you out of it. The only way out is to reset the console or reload the save. This seems to count as a hardlock by the first definition, but not by the second.

Example 4: In Skyrim, if something (generally a mod) interrupts the NPCs during the opening cutscene, they will not proceed to the next part of the cutscene. The player will be able to look around, but not enter actual gameplay. It seems this could count as a hardlock by the first definition.

So my question is: Which, if any, of these definitions is wrong? Do the these terms simply mean different things depending on the context? If none of my potential hardlock examples count, what are some real examples that you know of or have encountered?

Does Nekros’ shadows of the dead damage increase based on the level of the shadows?

For example, you kill 7 level 80 grinder lancers, and then use shadows of the dead. Is the only thing that can increase damage ability strength mods? Or does the damage also increase based on the levels of the shadows? I am not really sure how the ability works so could somebody give me an explanation? Thanks.

How to end the game in 2-player Lemmings (Super Nintendo), with no "Nuke" option?

I'm sharing my old SNES games with my kids and we were trying out the 2-player mode on Lemmings.

Sadly, it seems you can get into the situation where someone has used all of their "Bombers" and still have "Blockers" left that aren't able to be saved - leaving the 2-player game stuck with no way to keep playing without resetting the console.

In 1-player mode, there are three ways to get out of this situation:

  1. Hold SELECT and Press START
  2. Use the "Mushroom Cloud" button to "Nuke" all the Lemmings
  3. Wait for the timer to run out.

Here is a screenshot of the second option in 1-player mode. Notice the "Mushroom Cloud" in the bottom center of the image (Next to the yellow highlighted "Digger" box):

Unfortunately, in 2-player mode the SELECT + START method doesn't seem to work - even if both players do it simultaneously. That leaves the other two options, but with no timer and no "Nuke" option on the screen, it seems that it is impossible to end the round and keep playing when you get into this situation.

We no longer have the game manual, but surely there should be a way to continue playing the game in those situations? Being forced to reset the console is most disappointing.

How do I delete the main PSN account on a PlayStation 3 without the password?

When I got my PlayStation 3, I used a school email address to make my PSN account.

I didn't use my PlayStation 3 for a couple of years because I thought it had the red light of death. When I realised it still worked, and started using it again, I couldn't remember the password for my PSN account. I can't reset the password, because I don't have access to my school email address anymore.

Is there any way to get rid of the main PSN account? It seems to be a bit of a problem.

Why won't my Frozen Synapse units obey my commands?

I'm having lots of trouble getting units to behave in Frozen Synapse. Sometimes they just ignore my commands.

Here's an example. I have a grenadier who currently has no orders. I'm asking him to move, but instead, he just stands there getting shot to death.

I've tried clearing focus and cancelling aim, but he still just stands there instead of following his waypoints. What gives?

Does Flip Out affect the player that activated it?

The description for Flip Out states "Next time you land on a drop panel, the player(s) with the highest number of stars will lose the same number of stars as you."

What happens if a player activates Flip Out, then lands on a drop panel while they have the most stars? Will the player lose twice as many stars? Or will the card have no effect?

How to Show Attack Descriptions in Steven Universe: Unleash the Light for Nintendo Switch?

I've been playing Steven Universe: Unleash the Light for Nintendo Switch, and am having an issue making the attack descriptions show up consistently when selecting attacks.

As a result, there I'm running into a number of costly options I fear to try in game, because I have no idea what they do until I spend the star points to do them.

Is there a button combination I'm missing?

I am really struggling to load my saved game (that I put hours into) on my VisualBoy Advance. I keep getting an error message when I try and open it, and if I go into VBA and Ctrl + O then the saved file does not show up in its folder. It looks like it is saved as an .sg1 file - does this make a difference? Is there a way I can change this to a compatible file?

Please tell me you have good news...

Can Sketch copy moves that was used on the previous Pokémon, and does this differ over generations?

In Gen 2, if the enemy Pokémon takes you out with a move, and you send out a Smeargle to Sketch it, i believe Sketch will fail? So Sketch has to be used by the same Pokémon the desired move was used on?

In Gen 3 this doesn't matter? As long as it was the last move used by the opponent? So let's say you're taken out by a Thunderbolt, can you then send out a Smeargle to Sketch it?

What if the opponent is inactive due to sleep or paralysis? Can you still sketch the last move they used before that?

USF4 - Menus are just black screen

I am trying to play USF4 in Winodws 10 using a RX570 and an I3 9100F INTEL CPU.

The problem I am having is that I can see the Capcom logo, the Nvidia Logo and even the intro video. But as soon as I reach the main Menu I can hear the announcer scream the game's title but the screen is pitch black. If I do not touch anything then the demo of two random fighters is played and I can see everything. The game runs perfectly fine. But if i press start to acces the main menu again then everything goes back to black. I can press up and down and select stuff blindly but i cant see anything.

One other thing to notice is that the menues besides being pitch black have no BGM. I remember for sure there is music in the main menu and in the character selection screen.

Is someone aware of a solution to this problem?

Escape from LeChuck's fortress without using grog?

Yesterday we were revisiting Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge (the easy mode) and one of us got to LeChuck's fortress without having grog in the inventory.

As you normally need some to put out the candle and escape, is this game effectively lost? Is there another way to proceed from there?

Unfortunately we don't have any saved states from before hanging above the acid pit.

Is there any point in overpaying a merchant?

I'm simply wondering if there is any positive outcome to overpaying a passing merchant in the trading post? Anything, really.

I just want to make sure there is no "investment" or "reputation" element to the trading system that I would have missed until now.

How to see number of contracts on players in the Fifa 18 FUT web app

Does anyone know if it's possible to see the number of contracts players have in the FUT web app or companion app search results/squad overview?

I know it's possible to select a player and then change the view on the player details, but I'd like to be able to see at a glance when a player has a low or high number of contracts. It takes too long to click on each player to see how many contracts they have.

For example the small player card only shows the chemistry style. I'd love to be able to change that to show number of contracts instead so that it's visible on all players in a listing.

What do the blue colored skill icons indicate?

So I was looking to upgrade one of my skills and noticed that Packmaster was colored blue. At first I thought that the blue colored upgrades were the selected upgrades when more than one are unlocked (e.g. Domination), but in the case of Packmaster, that's the only available upgrade for that skill. None of the others are colored this way, they're just white or greyed out. And it can't be a story unlock, Packmaster was just a regular upgrade.

What does the blue color for the icons indicate?

Dota 2 corrupted download file apk01_46.vpk

The newly released dota patch 7.00 caused me some trouble. Every time I exit steam It resets my download.

After multiple attempts I managed to finish the download however every time I try to open the game an error message states that I have a corrupted File.

steamapps/downloading/570/dota/apk01_46.vpk

I tried deleting the file and verifying the game files twice but it still says that apk01_46.vpk is corrupted.

I already tried reinstalling the game three times and now the previous error message says that the error is vcredist_x86.

Can I solve this problem without having to re-download the entire game?
