book of chest anatomy and mimics

So I checked the wiki and couldn't find anything about this, so I turn to you guys.

Does the "Book of Chest Anatomy" affect the quality of the dropped content from a mimic because when you kill the mimic you are technically breaking the chest. like if you had the book and the mimic tooth necklace would it make the book worthless?

I have an opportunity right now to grab the book and the "Mimic Tooth Necklace" which I am going to do. But it made me think weather it was going to be worth it or not. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks

I defeated all mechanical bosses, what do I do next?

So, Im playing Terraria, I recently defeated all mechanical bosses: The Destroyer, The Twins and Skeletron Prime. Ive gone to the jungle and got myself a full set of Chlorophyte and Im confused. What do I do next? (Im on PC by the way)

How can I increase FPS in games (Minecraft, various Steam games) on my low-mid end computer? Specs below

Specs:      Intel Core i7-6500U @ 2.50GHz x 4      HP ENVY Notebook      16384MB RAM      Display: Intel HD Graphics 520      Render: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 940M      Windows 10 Pro version 1909

(I typed that out from dxdiag without using the save all info button)

It seems that my computer has sufficient hardware, but I need to clean up files that slow down my computer and I don't know which ones. I have already run Disk Cleanup and Optimize Drives.

Let me know if you need any more specs. I normally get 20-30 fps.

This question has been flagged as a possible duplicate of How can I improve the performance of Minecraft?, so here's why not:

OptiFine (Minecraft Forum Link) reworks a number of rendering details to improve Minecraft performance (+20fps). Many people go crazy about it on the forum, others say that it just doesn't work so YMMV.

I have already installed OptiFine and tried other mods such as Sodium.

Within the options menu (Esc -> Options), set Graphics to Fast and set Render Distance to Tiny.

I have done this and saw a small performance increase. (~10 fps)

Close any programs you can spare to lose (ie internet browser, messenger, music). If you're really desperate, you can open your task manager (Ctrl + Alt + Delete -> Start Task Manager) and select the "Processes" tab. Order by "Memory" and have a look at what's taking up so much processing power on your computer (Minecraft will be listed as javaw.exe). Use the End Process button to stop a selected process.

I use Razer Cortex for this and it does a pretty good job.

Change Minecraft's processing priority.

This actually doesn't affect my FPS in any way.

If all else fails, you might have to upgrade your computer. You can get plenty of cheap, new choices at Amazon.com.

Shuffling minecraft "cards" (Without dropping them)

So I'm playing on my Nintendo switch, and I plan to make a yu-gi-oh style game mode, where dropping a card summons the monster, but I ran into the problem of randomly giving you cards.

I have no idea how to randomly distribute these pieces of named paper, does anyone have ideas on how I can shuffle/draw them at random?

Do multiple taming attempts stack in BOTW?

I have my eyes set on a nice brown, Seabiscuit looking horse in BOTW. I've got six hearts, and one extra stamina container above the initial wheel. I read here that attempts stack, but this site says they don't.

Which is correct?

I've already been eating stamina increasing foods whilst trying to tame it, and temporary stamina boosts to give me a leg up but nothing works in my five attempts so far.

It's night in the game and I'd rather look for Seabiscuit when I can see him and avoid stal-monsters.

If the taming attempts do stack, does it refresh every in-game day? That would be a pain.

Do the Skaal believe in reincarnation or not?

The Skaal are the only people with a clearly monotheistic faith I've encountered so far in Tamriel. However, I'm confused about their afterlife belief because of contradictory statements. Shaman Storn Crag-Strider says the following:

So according to Storn's statement it seems the Skaal believe in eternal life with God in Heaven. But when I read "Children of the All-Maker" I read the following statement:

The author, Tharstan of Solitude, told me he studied the Skaal almost a year now. In Morrowind Bloodmoon I so far never went far enough to have deep conversations with the Skaal, since Bloodmoon Skaal aren't as open-minded as described by Tharstan (I can only talk to the Skaal man whose son I have saved). Is there any clear final information on whether the Skaal believe in reincarnation or in eternal life in the hereafter?

How to summon a TNT that doesn't destroy its surroundings?

In the server The Hive, they have a special item called Boom Boxes, and what it essentially does is that they act like normal TNT, but with some custom bits, and can also be thrown. Now I want to try and replicate the Normal type, where it just gives damage to the entity, but not on the blocks.

So I found this, but I have no idea how to do it properly, plus, it is a Java question.

So what I want to try and do is to not summon a mob in the process, activate the TNT regularly, then explode with no debris or damage left behind.

The only thing I thought of is using a repeating command block:

execute @e[type=tnt] ~ ~ ~ setblock ~ ~ ~ water

Then another command where it removes the water, but I don't know how to detect the TNT no longer existing.

I thought of some solution, but it will only work in a certain plot of land and on a flat world, and has other inconsistencies.

fill 50 1 50 -50 3 -50 grass  kill @e[type=item, name=Dirt]

So how can I go doing this?

What order is needed to get the highest level enchantments on Diamond Armor in Minecraft without reaching "Too Expensive!"?

In my Minecraft Survival world, I am attempting to get the strongest possible armor I can. Currently, I can easily create the chestplate and leggings with Protection IV, Thorns III, Mending, and Unbreaking III without maxing out the anvil uses, but I can't achieve the same with the helmet or boots. For the boots I was trying to get Protection IV, Thorns III, Feather Falling IV, Depth Strider III, Unbreaking III, Mending. For the helmet I was trying to get Protection IV, Thorns III, Aqua Infinity, Respiration III, Unbreaking III, Mending. But I can't seem to find out what order is needed to achieve this without going over the limit, and anvil mechanics go right over my head. I figured asking this at least may provide a shortcut for people who need a quick reference for what order is needed to get their overpowered armor.

In conclusion, what order is needed to achieve max enchantments on diamond armor without going over the cap?

How can I place a block randomly around my world?

I downloaded a lucky block mod and I want to place them randomly in my world. Is there a command to do this? I'd prefer the entire world to be affected but if it's just around 200 blocks then that's fine.

I am trying to kill all entities in a custom dimension named "console" except myself, armor stands, and items. At the moment, it is killing all entities in all dimensions except me, armor stands, and items.

This is the command

execute in minecraft:console run kill @e [type=!minecraft:armor_stand,name=!MaximumCalamity,type=!minecraft:item]

Can I play splitscreen on Servers?

I'm setting up a killer gamemode and I would like the killer to have armor with the curse of binding on it. I'm triggering the transformation with a single button attached to multiple command blocks. Any way to do the this?(The enchantment portion.)

Is there a Minecraft mod that acts like an autoclicker that works even when I switch to a different window?

Normally, when I need to use an autoclicker to do things in Minecraft, I have to keep the Minecraft window open, and I can't switch over to a different window to do something else. Is there a Minecraft mod or some other application that keeps clicking for me in Minecraft 1.16.5 even when I switch to a different window?

While I was playing Counter Strike: Global Offensive, I got kicked from the game. The reason I got kicked is that Steam displayed me VAC ban warning. They told me to verify CS:GO game files which I did. And every time I verify after around 2 hours I can play game (competitive or wingman) and again same thing happens. Every time I got "VAC BAN WARNING" when I verify, I got feedback that 1 or 2 files are missing when I start the game. Every time Microsoft DirectX is updating or installing every single time. I tried all Reinstall Steam/CSGO, updated windows, watched Youtube clips but nothing. So my guess is that Microsoft DirectX is somehow guilty but I don't know how to solve it.

In Salmon Run, what is the effect of playing when using an experience ticket?

Ive picked up some experience tickets along with other bonuses in Salmon Run, but I'm not exactly sure how they work. When playing with the cash tickets, its obvious but not so much with experience tickets. What am I not seeing?

Did Theseus kill the Minotaur if Kassandra killed it as well?

In Assassin's Creed: Odyssey Kassandra fights four monsters from Greek mythology, who guard the artifacts of the Precursor Race. Among them the Minotaur. I am curious, if it is ever explained, how it goes together with the legend of Theseus. He is known to have killed the Minotaur, and he is also mentioned in the game. (You can obtain his armor prior to the fight with the Minotaur, for example.)

Were there originally two Minotaurs, one killed by Theseus and one by Kassandra? Did Theseus lie about killing it? Or is the whole fight just an illusion created by the Piece of Eden, so it is possible to defeat the Minotaur multiple times? (For example that Theseus killed it, but did not collect the Piece of Eden, so the Minotaur "respawned" in the illusory reality after some time?)

Nintendo Switch Pro Controller acts as a mouse instead of a gamepad on PC?

I have switched from playing Fortnite on my Switch to PC. I have to use my controller wired because my PC doesn't support BlueTooth.

However, I've got a problem: when I use my controller, my PC reads my inputs as mouse inputs. For example if I move my joystick around, it moves the cursor. I have watched dozens of videos on YouTube but none of them helped and because I played with my Steam settings, the problem has gotten worse.

Does anybody know how to reset Steam settings or how I can solve my problem?

Logging into Minecraft equals instant death for no reason?

My girlfriend and I play Minecraft often and recently with the 1.8.0 update (Pocket Edition), she has randomly logged into her world to tell me that she randomly died as soon as she joins. This is her own locally created world.

We then created a Realm about 2 days ago, for this reason, hoping it wouldn't happen there. However, I remember last time I played, I was in the safety of my home, not near lava or monsters, inside my well-lit house. When suddenly, literally as soon as the world loads, I get a screen that says, "You have died". I looked around my whole house to see if I could find any of my stuff, but it all disappeared. Why is this happening? It's not an isolated issue with just Realm servers. This has happened on locally saved worlds as well.

I had RFS-81 in my party, but he has disappeared.

I last saw him before entering the Rapax castle, but can't remember where,and I was doing a lot of travelling just before entering the castle.

This page says

Returning Location: Wherever you Dismissed him
Will Not Go: None (Rapax Away Camp)

I am in the Rapax Castle, not the away camp.

I cannot remember where I dismissed him and it would be excruciatingly tedious to search everywhere.

So, is there any way, maybe a game editor, that I can locate this NPC, without exploring the entire map?

Configuring QuiverBow's Arms Assistant

I am trying to make the Arms Assistant from the QuiverBow Mod ignore my PortalGun Sentry turret. However I don't know what to put in the writable book, the documentation is not very extensive...

Here is what I tried:

  • craft Book and Quill
  • write "Sentry Turret" in it
  • give it to the Arms assistant
  • give a weapon to Arms assistant

Result: it attacks the sentries.

What am I doing wrong here? I tried also "PortalTurret", which is the name of the Sentry turret item (I think not of the entity), but that didn't work either.

I would appreciate an answer that is general enough that it allows me and other people to apply it to any kind of entity that needs to be blacklisted.

Cant delete .minecraft folder for Minecraft

I just downloaded Minecraft. When I pushed play, it finished, but then it loaded again. So I tried to delete the .minecraft folder, but it said the file is open in another program.

I would like to play games I used to play when I was younger, such as Final Fantasy VIII, but I want to skip all the hours of grinding for experience. Codes would enable me to fully enjoy the game.
